Thanks!  Grin
2  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: An Awesome fix for messed up Ambitions professions with 'Supernatural'? on: 2013 January 19, 12:27:41
Yup. Definitely messed up with or without mods. Thanks for the link, YoungOldPrude!

3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: An Awesome fix for messed up Ambitions professions with 'Supernatural'? on: 2013 January 19, 09:56:14
It's all over the EAxis forums ever since SN. *shrugs*
It's just that I didn't play any of the Ambitions careers since Supernatural, and I would assume this to be the case for a bunch of people, so it's easy to not run into that bug for months.

I can't think of a single mod that would prevent those ghosts from being created by the game (plus, I think many of the kids posting on the EAxis forums don't even know how to use mods, so....) but I'm going to start a fresh, unmodded game just to be 100% certain. Smiley

Howdy folks,

sorry for making yet another noobish post. So, I've started to play the Ambitions careers again recently, and it's all messed up. Especially the Ghost Hunter career, as "Sim ghosts" (those medieval and stone age dudes) don't spawn at all anymore, effectively ruining the entire career since they're ... simply not there. I've also noticed a bug in the Firefighter career where the game wants me to rescue invisible Sims.
Since these bugs seem to be present since Supernatural and EA hasn't bothered to fix them ... I thought I'd ask the nice folks at MATY if there's a fix?

Thanks,
Rocki
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Bonehilda on: 2012 November 24, 19:35:18
Yup, Bonehilda is certainly special.

Some of my Bonehildas decided to bother the pets all day, while others somehow managed to ignore their temptations and were actually useful around the house. I had a look at her XML to figure out what causes this varying behaviour but I honestly have no idea. Some just were better than others and did the gardening or stopped burglars. Most are useless, though, and harass the pets all day. *shrugs*

Oh, oops. Nevermind me, then ... thought this was the right forum, since ... well, you know. EA store stuff.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2012 November 24, 15:47:37
Lame request #1:

CATcorp items. Because CATcorp is evil, and they make some really nice pet stuff.

Lame request #2:

Gothik (TSR) mailboxes.

Thanks! Wink
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Error codes 12 and 13 along with crashing. on: 2011 September 19, 18:17:13
Will do, though I seem to remember I used to have it installed and it couldn't prevent evil error 12. Which is still a mystery to me, and very annoying, to say the least.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Error codes 12 and 13 along with crashing. on: 2011 September 16, 09:31:48
As for error 12....

... I'm reasonably certain it's somehow tied to lots. Sometimes I've been able to save after deleting a recently added lot or another custom lot. Mind you, all of them played fine but the game doesn't necessarily make sense. I continue getting a 12 all the time now, which (for me) seems to always be the case after playing a family for a while. Whenever it gives me a 12 I try to bulldoze random lots until it lets me save, but sometimes it will simply crash. Yay.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: For testing - morphing penis (NWS) on: 2011 September 14, 13:40:19
@ Aventurine

You is use a moar sliders hack? You're gonna need AwesomeMod or something similar to enable moar sliders than EAxis wants you to use. Otherwise, additional sliders will simply not show up which may or may not be the case for you. Just sayin'.

11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 July 28, 14:06:52
Don't you mean 4shared? There is no wait for mediafire. If you use firefox there's an add-on for skipping the waiting times.

*facepalms* 4shared, of course. Ohhh I gotta get that add-on then, thanks! It's driving me nuts.

@ Cocomama

Permish to upload a single archive containing your TSM conversions?
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 July 27, 21:16:26
Yay, thanks!

Those mediafire downloads are a pain unless you're a paying customer, though. Anyone up to uploading a rar containing all items? Just in case anyone has full mediafire access, because that'd save me the hassle of downloading every single file with a 20-60 seconds delay. *shudders*
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 June 14, 15:25:33
The tents are not showing up in my game for some reason. What category should they be in? *scratches head*

Has no one taken pity on the poor TSM beards and converted them yet? It makes me cry.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: M&G and AL mansard roof conversion on: 2011 May 10, 00:19:15
Unfortunately, they seem to suffer from the ever popular window crash bug. :/
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 May 09, 14:46:48
I don't use the custom launcher, so I'm unsure as to why the package would crash it.

You don't? Shocked  How can you stand loading the game without? My game took 15 minutes + to load without. Woah.

Anyway, I quite like the TSM kid skins. I think I may have to slap the scarlet fever faces on my default skins those kids look a lot more natural with that TSM scarlet fever freckled blush effect. ;-)
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 May 08, 11:54:42
@ Cocomama

I lubz joo! Cheesy

I love the tents! Man, I really love all of that TSM stuff, except I hate the game itself for being a boring ... bore.

I'm gonna upload the converted patterns later today, hopefully.

Random TSM stuff I'd love to see in TS3, to no one in particular:

- interactions, animations: swordfight, muggers, breastfeeding (yes, rly! No more magic bottles)
- objects, animations: cooking pots, roasting spit, fireplaces, beer kegs, card game tables
- interactions, animations: kids can rock a toddler's crib, that was cute.
- interactions, objects: that whole collecting herbs and cooking thing was kinda neat, too. I really want to be able to go without a fridge in TS3.
- outfits, hair, beards: all of 'em, of course!
- rabbitholes: possible to convert the rabbitholes to TS3? 'Specially the forest rabbithole is interesting for several outdoor / vacation purposes.
- interactions: An interesting thought - add the Monarch interactions to, say, the TS3 major? I'd like a bit of power abuse. Muaha!

Yeah, just rambling. Can't offer much myself but maybe someone feels up to the task. Whatever is possible, anyway.

17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 May 07, 22:07:38
Thank you very much!

I'm going to convert those patterns to TS3. I love some of those. Thank you for extracting them!  Cheesy
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 May 07, 08:34:49
Sorry for the double post, sorta.

I'm wondering if it's possible to convert the TSM larders to TS3 retaining their functionality? There's a couple of things I really liked about TSM, food larders being one of them. I'd love to be able to store my TS3 harvestables in a larder and make meals from them - without the additional options of a fridge. Basically you'd be able to live off your veggies like in TSM. I also like the forest rabbit hole "Go Hunting" interaction. Would be perfect for those stowaway / medieval / stone age Sims. Mwah, so many ideas, so many options, so little modding knowledge. :/
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: TSM for TS3 on: 2011 May 06, 14:05:12
Thanks so much guys and gals! I hate TSM. Love the stuffs, though. I really only have it to rip its heart out and add everything to TS3.

@ Araenna,

your *.package seems to crash the Custom Launcher. Going to load it into the game without the Launcher now to have a look at your skins - just thought I'd let you know. Smiley

@ Cocomama,

your link to the patterns/textures seems to be broken. Anyone have converted the patterns to TS3 yet?

Thanks so much for working on this, you're the best! Any chance of converting the beards and more hair? I might give it a try myself but I'm such a noob. :/

Kudos to you!
20  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Wth happened to my game on: 2009 November 30, 09:08:42
Hiya!

Are you absolutely certain that you have no other mods left in the game? The missing interactions are usually caused by socialization mods.
Make sure you REALLY have no other mods (yes, this IS important ;-) ) and that your framework of AM is up to date. Some of the bugs in your pics are clearly EAxian, like the lightning. Do you have any camera mods? Remove everything, seriously everything! Cheesy

Do you have the AddOn?
21  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Why is everything showing up RED!!!!!!!! on: 2009 November 28, 05:26:31
I'm having the same problem. Definitely not related to the vid card, no. It occured as soon as I had AM running and for some odd reason only affects the "home" neighborhoods, not the travel destinations. Creating new 'hoods results in more red 'hoods. ;-)
I'm experimenting with the framework right now, please let me know if a solution is found. Preferrably one that does not involve reinstalling once again ;-)

Edit:

Ooops, I have to correct myself. I have found the solution to this problem in my game at least.
I had multiple instances of DDFMap.txt where they did NOT belong. After removing them from the base game it seems to be back to normal.

Awesomemod and config are in the base game mods/packages folder while the additional framework files reside in the world adventures folder.
This seems to work fine.
