Yep, a sadly uninformed friend of mine had trouble installing because it was squawking about her CD burner software. She uninstalled the software... 

Also, "Tell Ghost Story" is not an Insane-exclusive action. My Sims get the ability to do it for a while after seeing ghosts.

Edit: Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, Great Kissers always have the option to kiss someone (under Special...) regardless of relationship values or how the other sim sees them at the moment.

Pretty much any cleaning action when done by a Perfectionist sim has the little Perfectionist icon by it in the pie menu. I didn't really pay attention to whether the cleaning takes longer, though.

All right. RLD-RZR patch is go- where's the .632 patch, since if I recall correctly earlier in the thread you guys were saying EA took it down? (PB search came up with nothing. or rather, nothing that I was actually intending to search for.)

I don't quite trust the RLD-RZR patch... like an earlier poster said, at that filesize there should be more of a change. Can't say I fancy sitting through another 6 GB download though.

Set your firewall to block Sims 3, the launcher, etc. from connecting to the internet.

The only case of Invisisims I've noticed so far- probably. The game didn't act like there was anything in the chair when I tried clicking on it. Note, also, the bookcase clipping through the wall.

Ghost fright produced pink ghosts in TS2, correct? There's a few of those wandering around the graveyard.

I didn't notice significant motive drop when my cowardly Sims encountered ghosts, however. They just fainted instead. (In one case, this was at the sight of her roommate's ghost baby, which she was present for the birth of. Can has memories back?)

Seems like certain item types are more likely to show up in certain areas. Seeds around the parks/in woods, gems and ores around the mine and Stonehenge (and, for some reason, the criminal warehouse), not sure about moon rocks since none of my Sims collect them.

The graveyard ghosts- is this the only way to make them playable?

Nothing there when I moused over the chair- I mean, it only gave me the option to interact with the chair, not with an invisible Sim.
