At least they bothered to search first.

You have to open each package separately with S3PE and look at the file names to see which item it is you are looking at.
If you want something specific it's easier to use Custard on the sims3pack of the set as it will list all the items, see which one of the gibberish names is the item you want. Keep the custard window open and use Delphy's package extractor on the set and only keep the package you want.

If only it was as descriptive for hairs and clothes. "CounterIslandCraftsman" or whatever is much more helpful than "Everyday- TYAF" when there's several female everyday items.

Knightguy has pretty much everything in the first two posts, although it's all in .sims3packs so if you want .packages you'll have to extract them yourself.
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 February 10, 21:16:43
I don't know if it's the only way, but Delphy's Multi-Extracter (it's on MTS) will extract .packages from sims3packs.

It looks comfy.

Ugh, I think I may just switch to .packages. The launcher randomly replaced a thumbnail with a white box with a red X in it after the last batch. It went away when I closed the launcher and reopened it, but I wouldn't be surprised if the lot of it's corrupt now.

The weird thing is that the box moved when I scrolled down, so it always occupied the same space on the screen. But anyway, what's kept me from using packages for Store stuff so far is that since the filenames when you extract them are gibberish strings, I can't tell which item is which, so I can't remove the ones I don't want. How do I get around that? Is it okay to extract from decrapified packs or should I get fresh ones?
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 February 08, 05:40:41
A couple of store items, for instance the Bella painting from the Let There Be Sims "set," are showing up as tiny black balls ingame. Are they corrupted, or does it mean they require an EP/SP I don't have?

I use decrapified Sims3Packs and install through the launcher if that has anything to do with it.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: help with sims 3 store content on: 2012 February 08, 01:54:21
The downloads folder is basically a waiting area. They're not actually installed until you tell the Launcher to install them or you unpack the .package files and put them in your Mods/Packages. Since you decrapified them, I'm guessing you mean to use the Launcher.
34  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Household naming weirdness on: 2012 February 07, 20:47:56
So chances are EA borked something again, then? Big surprise. If it's not going to break my game, though (with how buggy this whole series is, I was concerned it was a sign of a bigger error,) I can live with renaming a household here and there.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Deleted CC leaving behind blank thumbnails? on: 2012 February 06, 16:10:19
Huh, I wonder if I might be having the same problem. Some blank thumbnails have showed up in my fabric patterns recently, although all the packages I have show up clean in Dashboard.
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Household naming weirdness on: 2012 February 06, 02:36:23
I will. Thanks; maybe I should try applying the fixes myself after all.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Game-generated household naming weirdness on: 2012 February 05, 22:31:00
The .world file is where it originally installed to (GameData/Shared/NonPackaged/Worlds) and I installed the routing fixes by renaming the original one from .world to .backup and placing the fixed one in its place. I downloaded the already-fixed .world, as I didn't really want to mess around with S3PE if I didn't have to.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Game-generated household naming weirdness on: 2012 February 05, 20:31:42
No. I do have the routing fixes from MTS installed (probably should have mentioned that although I'm not sure it's relevant,) but that's in .world format.
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Household naming weirdness on: 2012 February 05, 08:01:46
I just started an Appaloosa Plains save, and the game's generated a couple households to move into empty slots as per usual. Both immigrant households have a file path for a name, so it'll say things like "Visit the .../Excel/EP05/Households/Jenner household". (I may have the path there wrong, I didn't write it down.)
Is this a sign of impending BFBVFS?

I have Awesomemod installed, along with Nraas Overwatch, ErrorTrap, Register and Careers. At the moment the only EP installed is Pets.

Edit: On second thought maybe they weren't randomly generated (I only just now thought to look up who the starting homeless families are, so that's probably where the Jenner household came from.) If that matters, anyway.

Never mind, nothing to see here.

Most of the spooky set object .zips in mistyk's archive appear to be corrupted.
42  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Spore GA review on: 2009 September 02, 21:49:20
Umm, how can we turn CC on in an arr'd copy if you're not supposed to let arr'd things connect to the internet?

My base Spore is legal (though I'm sure EA wishes that buying their games used for $10 was illegal. XP), but my GA... yeah. Assuming I even can register the base game (serial code might have been used already), I can't actually take it online, right?

I suppose I can always wait for GA to go down in price too, though.

Edit: Disregard this post, I found a used copy cheaper than yesterday.
43  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Robot Chicken adventures without registering? on: 2009 August 14, 17:57:39
You have to log in to get them from the official site, so... Robot Chicken's not normally my kind of thing, sure, but I get a laugh out of it occasionally when I'm home and Dad's watching it. So yeah.

Searching for torrents of it didn't come up with anything Spore-related at all, and Google's just bringing up reviews and "how do I install?" questions.
44  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Stupid question about installing patches on: 2009 August 07, 23:36:07
Okay. It's annoying enough trying to patch TS3, so I may as well patch Splotch the "right" way to get it done with less hassle...
45  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Spore No-CD cracks- info and aid on: 2009 August 06, 23:13:44
The GameCopyWorld page for it says that the game doesn't require the DVD to run once it's activated, hence the lack of no-CD cracks. That may be why you can't find any... I'll see if that's true.
46  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Stupid question about installing patches on: 2009 August 06, 23:03:59
Do I need to install all the patches in order? I stopped playing for a while after Patch 1, and I'm only now getting back into it. Does Patch 5 include the previous ones?

Even if it introduces more bugs, I want to play with the asymmetry feature...
47  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 July 20, 05:16:21
I'm coming in late to the party, and with the RLD->RZR version it's hanging up on that cz help file... but the uploads earlier in the thread have been taken down. I'm really not looking forward to redownloading the whole damn game.
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apocalypse! How many are left? on: 2009 July 12, 21:50:13
I kind of like Sims 3, but I miss a lot of things about 2, and 2 doesn't heat up the laptop to unacceptable levels.
49  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 July 05, 02:17:21
So does fpslimit require 3Booter or what? I haven't had overheating problems so far, but I don't want to risk it, and I'm not having crashing problems.

* Revamped careers
* Seamless neighborhood
* Family members showing up in the relationships as Mother, Father, Cousin, etc. instead of just Family
* Bikes
* CAST
* Traits
* Prettier graphics (other than the Puddingface problem)
