The new trees look like they're from the Shivering Isles. The new patch also doesn't seem to have fixed the no-fluff problem everyone with a Raedon graphics card seems to have. Not interested.

Not seeing that error for part 2.

No. It doesn't.

Redownload part 4, replace it with this. Also included the counters in simpack form (you will need to decrapify it yourself), and an updated version of the list for part 4.

I'm in the process of uploading this month's update. I know that the mega-upload link died for part 2, so I removed it. I might re-upload it in the future, but not tonight. The current 4-shared upload is taking long enough.

Zenyattas spawn occasionally when horses lick salt licks. There's 3 other gnomes that came with pets as well, but Zenyatta is the most prolific.

Why do sims insist on having huge spaces to play guitars in? I'm trying to get one to play in a 4x4 space. All clear. She keeps trying to go into the lobby outside to play instead (Its 4x6. Not much bigger.) If I lock the door and force her to stay in her apartment, she whines and won't play, even though she has plenty of space. Could the space required for this action be reduced or something?

Yes. Nothing in it is new.

I think I'd rather know why some people are missing the strings, and I specifically am not, than try dealing with that anymore.

Using 11/16 (17:18) build. Got it after closing some save without saving.
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TSR shit showing up as store content! WTF on: 2011 November 17, 02:00:35
Sometimes worlds have CC attached. If they do, you cannot uninstall it without removing the entire world first. In addition, if you have too many things installed with the launcher, you will not see everything that has been installed.

Is it possible for the cc to have a store icon in game, yet be installed as a package if it's cloned from store content?

No.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TSR shit showing up as store content! WTF on: 2011 November 17, 00:57:03
All launcher crap gets the store icon now. All non-launcher installed stuff gets the standard folder icon. There's not really anything you can do to change it.

When I removed the entries for counters and cabinets, I basically just disabled them by deleting whatever had the name attached, and the OBJD entry if that wasn't labeled. It worked fine for me, no weird STBL issues. Trying your method for removing them caused S3PE to crash multiple times, till I gave up. The other method I've used to remove extra files is to redownload whatever I want to remove, turn off sorting, re-import it, and then delete the stuff it adds.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Arrghe'd game and all EP's, won't install custom worlds on: 2011 November 16, 02:36:03
It varies. I know I had to fix at least 4 of the store ones. They were not exactly the most versatile ones though, so you might not have noticed.

Because you have to fix beds manually. Neither rigfix program works on beds.

Noticed the chainsaw from Ambitions was not Shiftable. Fixed this. Also made the awnings shiftable, because the only other person who made the awnings shiftable did it wrong.

Ctrl+shift+click works for changing them in build mode. I do something similar, only instead of changing the color, I change the intensity to dim.

I am really not looking forward to re-uploading that again.

<--- The more I read your posts, the more I feel like him.

You need to do both, I can't tell you why you are missing strings, I am not. Rig fixing the .dbc isn't going to help repair strings, or make the material show up. It just repairs rigs that were broken by the patch.

@Matilda, I don't use that launcher so I have no idea.

Look through my post history for step-by-step instructions on how to install worlds. It isn't that hard. .World files can technically be used, but only if you like reading file names as descriptions for everything. I also am not experiencing any of the problems you are reporting. Haven't seen any missing or broken descriptions, (I'm using English. Is your game in some other language?) I'm not seeing the sectional being duplicated, and I'm honestly not sure which counter is 'Thurstan's'. (Google doesn't seem to know either.) The sectional also has a different name in my game, 'Lazy sim sofa sectional'. I get it now.. I was reading that as 'counter' and not 'coffee table'. Those need to be removed from sim-pack form as well. I didn't know they were included. They're also classified as coffee tables, which is what threw me off since you said 'counters'. They're fully functional in package form, but the sectionals themselves are not, which is why the sectionals need to be decrappified/installed via launcher, when the coffee table parts of them don't.

Are the decrapified objects showing up in game? If so, ignore what the launcher says. There's a limit to how much stuff it will remember. This is another great reason to avoid the launcher whenever humanly possible.

Sims need to realize that the auto-noms pet feeder from the last store update is a 'bowl' so they'll quit getting wishes to 'buy pet bowl'  when they already have that one.

I think the quiet trait is broken, for cats at least. They meow just as much as normal and noisy cats. They even meow in their sleep. While one of my real cats snores, she isn't half as annoying as those 'quiet' sim-kitties can be.

I noticed. I also noticed the  Hidden Springs Objects, and pets register fix. The Hidden Springs objects are redundant, and will cause conflicts with the main files. I never noticed a problem with my version of the register, but there seem to be so many variables concerning that register that the fix is probably not unwarranted.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Store Stuff Made Shiftable: Update 8/11 on: 2011 November 08, 07:59:58
Bulletin board, burglar alarm, and fire alarm made shiftable here. Why EA didn't at least fix the bulletin board I have no idea.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2011 November 08, 07:43:42
If the mac user is using decrapified simpacks, then they need decrapified packages to make the fixes work for them. Decrapification makes an object read as 'different' from its original package, which is also why you end up with a lot of duplicates if you have both simpacks and packages of the same thing installed, unless your packages are decrapified, or your launcher installed things are not decrapified. Using crapified packages in a game with decrapified objects results in a lot of blank, unselectable entries in the catalog since the object being referenced is not present.
