I play it.  but no where near as much as I did 3.  in fact, I still find myself firing up 3 more frequently.  but 4 seems to finally be finding a stride

a way to kick other sims out of conversations would be nice too.  trying to chat up a potential husband/wife at the bar and bam! 5 other sims suddenly invite themselves into the conversation! Suddenly flirting attempts previously well received are creating awkward conversations.  Less cockblocking!

Does anyone happen to have the package files for the bistro set? for whatever reason my legit copy refuses to give me the menus in buy mode to create my own. yet the EA created venue works just fine.  I've uninstalled & reinstalled the set & still no luck. 

My game randomly decided to delete the buildings/rabbit holes from the lots after traveling to the future in a vanilla game.  and conveniently those lots aren't in the bin for me to just replace them & I kinda want to keep with the building theme... kinda hard to buy winning lotto tickets when your grocery store apparently got bulldozed while you were looking up the winning numbers in the future.. pretty much ALL the rabbit holes are gone.  while amusing because you can see the perfect outline where the building USED to be, it's also annoying.

yes.  the ones prior to this latest update.  =) it's the newest one that's borked for me it seems

once I updated these my game wouldn't even start.  Had to completely remove them after forcing the game to create a new sims 3 download file.  these are the only updates I've made since playing last.  Anyone have the LAST version of these so I can at least use everything up to the dance studio til this gets fixed? I hadn't saved them before replacing. =/ learned my lesson the hard way

new everything.  I always start fresh with new add ons

Anyone else having issues creating sims?  Without mods thanks. 

No lifetime wishes are coming up.  No option to even select anything.  they're all blank and the only option is to cancel it

Doesn't seem to be a AM issue at all, even my unmodded game is doing it.  Blame EA

Anyone else getting the issue where they can't go to school?  NO MODS.  I know about the AM issue turning the school to a park. 

This the school shows up with options, you can select em but sims get to the front door and can't go in the building.  Had to age up my kid manually to avoid issues where she couldn't go to class.

I pinpointed my problem using AM with Ambitions and it seems to be linked to that stupid mods found popup EA put in.  Without AM it pops up just fine and I can click through and game finishes loading.  WITH AM, you get the sound of the popup but the screen never shows up for you to click through it.  Is there a way to disable that stupid thing?  I think we already know we install mods.  Seems to be the only issue though. 

I've gotten bit by the game won't finish loading with AM installed bug too.  It gets all the way to the end and just sits there.  Load up fine without it. 

Also unable to interact with the sculpting station but I haven't pinpointed if that's an EA screwup or something else yet

I'm getting the launcher base game is incompatible error too after patching.  Is there a fix to this besides reinstalling everything?

Correct.  New Neighborhood, (1 with mods in place, 1 without) Framework properly installed in the correct directory, all custom content outside of EA store items removed (and default replacement skin) and the fishtank still has no interactions available regardless of modded game, or plain jane game.

I DO use awesomemod but this was removed along with all other mods in the clean game.  Same issue.

Going to start removing EA content next to see if it's something there.

yeah I have everything in the HELS directory and even without mods and nothing but EA content, I'm still having the issue

Ok, I've installed HELS and updated everything, tried with both mods in game, and taken out and still have the same issue.

The new fishtank has no interaction options.  Can't add fish at all, and when you hover over it it says something like sims 3 object decorative but it's unclickable. 

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, is there a fix?

I have a twist on that issue. Not only do they do nothing, but I have one balding one that comes in, helps himself to quick meals out of my fridge and then leaves and charges me for feeding his lazy butt. >.<
