If you post what files you need and what patch number you currently have I'll make an update to include the file or at least upload it.

PS: Torrent is now unknown since AT&T is requiring me to bring in a modem, which they are sending to me in the mail, for them to setup.

It have made more sense to upload an un-rar'd torrent so people can just download the files they need instead of the whole thing.

That is an idea that didn't even cross my mind. I'll do so when I get internet at my new place. I'm currently using satellite which is unreliable for torrenting plus there is a Fair Access Policy (Use to much bandwidth they slow you down to dialup speeds) but I'll be getting dsl on Wednesday so I'll seed a copy of this then.

Hey everyone. I've had issues both times with patches due to having a modified file that shouldn't even matter to the update. But as we all know EA sucks and requires the most pointless of files to be original or the updater will throw a hissy fit. So this is where this minor compilation of most commonly modified files come in at. I've accumulated files from the base game, patch 1.2, and patch 1.3. I based these files off the most common errors when updating. So no matter where you are at in the patching process there should be files for you to update your game.

Here are three links and I'll be making a torrent around Wednesday so people can pick and choose which files they want.

Hmmm so I removed the game fully using the suggestion of Revo Uninstaller and then reinstalled the game and the latest patch. I reinstalled it with no mods (except a no cd patch) and the game still tweaked out as I described above. So I removed the no cd patch and used my cd to play the game and it worked fine. So I'm guessing the no cd patch was my issue. Now time to readd all the mods and see if it works.

So I'm experiencing a very... odd and annoying issue.

I updated to the latest patch today and installed the latest version of Awesomemod (I'm also using Indie Stone and a few minor tuning hacks). Whenever I load any of my saves or even create a new family the results are always similar to this.

To explain a few things, all those sims WERE ghosts (you can still see the electricity radiating off two of them) and now they obviously look very much alive. Besides my sim who is putting out the fire all other sims (pre-patch created and post-patch created) have pathing issues and won't due anything except stand there. The only reason I can think of why my sim is still putting out the fire is because I had saved my game while he was doing that.  The GUI looks a bit screwy. For starters the icons for any of my household sims are gone. Then the little sim image (that is above the Life Time Wish) is of a female sim I've never created or played as. This is especially odd because even when I switch to different saves in other neighborhoods she is there.

I have a few questions about the pedo interactions.

I have Lostaccount's Teen Woohoo + Pregnancy/Marriage mod (newset version) so should I disable Awesomemod's pedophilia? I ask because I notice some interactions are disabled such as "try for baby" so I'm just wondering if this is a conflict between the two mods or something else.

I believe there is an awesomefied version of that, as i'm using a 'teen woohoo/pregenancy/auto woohoo+TFT" mod that works as it is suppose to.

Make sure you have the needed resource.cfg file, because it is suppose to be placed in an override folder to work with awesomemod.

And no, you must have awesomemod's pedophilia enabled for the mod to work.

You wouldn't by chance have a link to that would you?

Nevermind I did a search on this site and found the thread. Looking through it now.

I've been playing around with Wolfrun. All I can say is awesome! Cheesy It's cool to progress a few generations and see which of my created sims have hooked up. Now the problem I'm having is that the bills aren't being paid automatically. Anyone else running into this mini problem?

Yes I am having the same problem, but that's part of ISM not Awesomemod, so you should report it there.  Smiley

I wasn't sure if it was a indie mod issue or an awesomemod computability issue. I'll go ask over there.

Thanks jordi, I had downloaded the .5b the first time but it didn't work. I tried readding awesomemod and Indie Stone and for whatever reason it fixed my missing features. Definitely am going to enjoy this setup. Finally the town feels alive!

"discoinferno" works awesome and is a hilarious surprise. XD I won't ruin what it does because it caught me by surprise. Lol.

I just have one question, if I use awesomemod with indie stone do I get all Indie Stone features or only select ones? I'm guessing some features overlap but I'm curious because I noticed some Indie features (such as story updates and Wolfrun) aren't working. I'm just wondering if these can't/weren't implemented.

If it was a problem within the .exe wouldn't everyone encounter this problem? I personally have never had the sims 3 crash while loading and I've had it since release.
