You registered in 2005, you have posted here 724 times, and you don't know how to get to #grah?

when the game CTD it's only using 600MB, and my total memory usage of the entire computer was only at 1.6GB, not even close to 3GB. CPU was running at 50%, distributed between core 0 and core 1...
I have a feeling it's something to do with the new display driver update. Don't know why though :/
Despite what game developers tend to advise, the newest display drivers aren't always best.  Some graphics cards are more suited to certain driver versions, and some programs work better with certain driver versions...and sometimes, there is no overlap between what your card wants and what the program in question wants.

Please move to 64bit OS, 32bit can cause corrupt saves and CTD due to 2GB memory limit per process. Sims 3 uses alot of memory.
Would making the appropriate Sims 3 executable (TS3W.exe?) Large Address Aware suffice as a workaround?

Data Dase Systems Manager; that's really advanced for a Barbie!

Edit: because I'm dyslexic
That must be what this Barbie does.

Microsoft Word paperclip mode engaged:
By the way, you have a typo.  Did you mean to write "Bata Dase"?

Although I didn't know what it was at the time, I made my Barbies do BDSM when I was a 6.  The odd (or not?) thing is that there was no source of inspiration for that; I was raised as a prudish Christian with little to no exposure to sexuality.

On-topic, I'm wondering why the hell the original poster decided to make their request here of all places.

My TS3 performance varies wildly from silk-smooth to 0.1 FPS for no apparent reason (it's not story progression delay, apps running in the background, or any particular activities or locations).

AMD Athlon 3800+ 2.4GHz
1GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT 128MB
Windows XP SP3

I'll accept that the "apparent reason" is my laughable hardware only if someone can explain to me why it is that the game runs fine sometimes.

Fascinating.

Another question all this brings up is how perpetrators and victims are to be defined.  For example, there seems to be no distinction made between the brothel owner and the brothel boys.  You have three normal prisons counting the potential women's prison, but no rehabilitation centres.
