Do game developers still come to this forum? How about a "Sims 2" based game design software, in the same style as RPG Maker, with a comprehensive database which allowed you to create your own gameplay rules, and adjust aspect of the game?

Wouldn't you know the witch would be a fan of the open world. This, on top of everything else!

Hopefully when the Sims 5 comes out, the game will be playable once more, as in no crappy open world, and true rotational gameplay.

I would rather give up the open world. This is one more little thing that was sacrificed for that overly hyped "progressive" feature. It totally wrecked the sims for me.

I find it ironic that a website called "Paysites Must Be Destroyed" was shut down because nobody would pay them.

Oona proclaims once again:  they need to bring back the old way of playing multiple households. Instead of the discount bulk box of 3 and 4, Sims 2 had households that were individually wrapped chocolates in a neighbourhood full of flavorful delight. When you get bored munching on one, you have a whole neighbourhood to choose from, but you can come back any time and continue where you left off.

Sims 2 was worthy of the title 'awesome', whereas 3 and 4 have not lived up to the hype.

Inge, The Sims 4 was released almost a year ago. Go see your doctor immediately - we may have cause for worry.

The open neighbourhood concept did suck though, and it hasn't changed for the better in TS4.

I blame MATY for all this. During TS2 and TS3, there was that long story on here with nothing but sims fighting and peeing themselves. It had a negative influence on the developers.
