If they did that, they they should've taken out the simultaneous loves one as well.

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen that around anymore either.....  Huh

I just realised what's causing this *smacks forehead*, i haven't got uni installed anymore, meaning I have the Nl version of the LTW's. And apparently for some strange reason only known to Maxis they haven't included the max 7 skills, 20 lovers/woohoo's/friends LTW's. I guess they thought these were only achievable if you had the added time of YA's (as if).Which sucks because 20 wooho's was my favourite, ah well.

I have the feeling that Maxis has been fiddeling with the LTW's since OFB. Whenever I use Vincent's Sim Modder to reroll a LTW, I NEVER get the 'maximize 7 skills one'. Perhaps they have taken it out because to many sheeple were complaining it was too hard? And the pre-OFB ones who did have are a little screwed up because off this?

(FYI I don't have JMP's LTW variety, I determine LTW manually anyway)
129  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: School data resets for kids and teens on: 2006 August 16, 10:31:04
Have had the same problem, ALL my kids were reset to C's and public schools. In my case it seems it happened after I had rearranged the houses in my nieghbourhood with that pick-up-lots tool.

Hrm. Do you have the Age Transitions fix? I think twojeffs made it, with a version for Teens Keep Loves or what not. You can find them here.

I should probably mention this in the main post and add a link. This is most likely the cause. When teens transition, I think the game automatically wipes out the hearts and/or go steady icons. You'll need to use the Teens Keep Loves version. My hack should not conflict with any of those fixes. In fact, it would be best if you have both the 'Go Steady Critical Fix' and the 'Age Transitions Fix - Teens Keep Loves' version.

Ste

I have both fixes now, and everything works perfectly. Thank you very much  Kiss

I seem to be having a minor annoyance with your mod. I had a couple who were going steady, he - adult, she - teen. After she turned into an adult she didn't have the go steady icon in her relationship panel, but he did. She wasn't able to propose an engagement/ go steady anymore, though he still could. After he had proposed to her she did have the marriage option available, so it's really no big deal, just something I noticed.
132  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: community lot need old fashionned Victorian wall phone on: 2006 August 14, 16:36:58
Mmm, I don't have those cutscenes anyway, and never travel to other lots, so I think I'll take the risk.
133  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: community lot need old fashionned Victorian wall phone on: 2006 August 14, 11:59:07
The residential mailbox must always be in the strip between the road and the sidewalk, always facing the road, and somewhere preferrably within the middle third of the map. Moving it beyond that will cause funny things to happen to your game.

How exactly will this create problems? I NEVER leave the mail box on 'the strip', I always move it next to the frontdoor. But I've not seen any problems because of this....

Recolouring should be ok though, right?
135  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Alien eyes not always showing correctly on: 2006 August 13, 09:30:39
Mmmm yes, that makes sense. Those pale eyes are the same ones that show up on the thumbnails of any custom facepaint/glasses I have. I suppose they belong to my default replacements. There wouldn't be anyway to trigger the game into displaying the eyes again, would there?
136  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Alien eyes not always showing correctly on: 2006 August 12, 10:27:47
I have two default replacements for my alien sims in my game, Louis' green skin and Enayla's alien eyes. Most alien have the proper eyes/skintone, some however have this weird pale eye colour that I don't recall ever downloading. When checking their DNA in SimPE they have the same eye colour genes as the 'normal' aliens, and I'm at a totall loss what could be causing this, any ideas?
137  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pregnant sim at work? on: 2006 August 06, 08:45:13
My Sims also seem to bring home others who are pegnant from their work. They don't wear their work clothes, but so far it never has caused any problems for me in terms of giving birth on the wrong lot or dying of starvation.
138  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Floating Head No Body Glitch: Please Help on: 2006 August 05, 07:32:32
That looks like the results of an overheated video card to me.

Find out what your temperatures are. Then, if they're high, do something to lower them. My solution was to remove one side of the case and point a small fan directly at the video card. Haven't had any overheating problems since then.

I have to back up SaraMK here. I've had a lot of this happening on my lots as well, but only if my computer or my Sims had been running for a long time. Removing the sides of my case, cleaning all the dust out and lowering some settings seems to have done the trick for me (for now Undecided)

huh, that makes sense, having a male name and all...  Huh Or is it pronounced Lois?

Ah, thanks for that, much appreciated
142  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / SimScribbling Ears on: 2006 July 28, 12:00:05
Due to a change of default skins I had to find me a new pair of Louis' elf ears. The problem is, his site seems to have been down for a while now, with no sign of recovery. So, could anybody who is in the possesion of his DarkTan ears be so kind as to email them to liekeeleonora@gmail.com ? Many thanks!
143  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Unoccupied lot went poof - wtf, wtf. on: 2006 July 17, 09:06:14
Your lot is doomed, simple as that. This happened to me several times, and there is no way to repair it. You'll have to remove it, either by deleting it from your LotCatalog folder, or with SimPE.
144  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: neighborhood view weirdness on: 2006 July 16, 10:24:12
Hmm, my guess is that your video card can't handle it all at once and just 'skips' certain parts.
But hey, at least your neighbourhood looks better than mine.  In my game all trees seem to have fused into one green spikey object, and my community lots display as emty plots with some vague blobs on them.

Can't you just use debug mode, or do you mean it will now show up in Body Shop too?

Did you have a heart transplant from an Italian person?

Then no, you haven't an Italian Heart.

... it's a figure of speech... DUH
147  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Suggest Street Names Please. on: 2006 July 10, 11:50:05
God, all these street names make my neighbourhoods sound so boring. I always name the lot [family name] house/manor/mansion/bungalow/etc.

Thanks Dr. Beast, that first post made my brain implode.
150  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: I broke my university on: 2006 June 21, 13:30:48

However, I've frequently done this and it's worked:  build house or renovate existing house, changelotzoning dorm, save and exit, move sims in and then changed back to residential, save and exit.  Never had a problem doing that.  I've also used the five-roomed dorm on many occasions with no problems, frequently making it residential after a while, with all five rooms occupied by playables.  However, some of the larger dorms I've found either unplayable because of the size or just plain screwed-up!

Yes, but the problem is we just can't move sims into dorms because the taxi will never show up, de camera will just be floating above the lot and nothing happens. I've had this happen several times with small masix-made dorms
