Fine with me if someone else wants to update these mods. In case it's later found that one of us made an error in one of the files, be sure to change the filename so people can distinguish them from mine, this way people will know who to blame.
127  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 November 06, 05:15:19
I've been updating your mods myself, Anach, well at least the ones I use in my game. That way I don't have to wait. The only one I had trouble with was the CASSkins one that allowed for a larger viewing area of all the skintones. But I found an alternative to it so I'm using that instead. My version of the mod borked my game. Oops.

Yeah that one can be a little tricky.
128  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 November 06, 00:52:16
Ah Australia damn, yeah I play in NA region. So youre getting MW3 as well eh... didnt see that I figured its either BF3 or MW3, at least for me. I have looked at MTS and they have lots of great MODS, but the one thing they seem to be missing is difficulty mods. One thing that has always turned me off from Sims is how easy it is and thats why youre mods are great. Making money is already too easy and I like things being realistically more expensive. There are only a select that I was looking to use, but Ive looked into the WinMerge and yeah... Ive NO idea how that stuff works. Maybe I should just try using em with the game? I have tested other mods when  was testing stuff for EP and a bunch of them still worked. You think thats a good idea?

I enjoy the single player of MW, multiplayer sucks balls compared to BF3, unless you like a rehashed version of quake multiplayer, and I was never an Arena or UT player.

I can't say which mods need updating without actually going to update them, and then I might as well. Likely a lot wont actually need updating, but if they do, it might crash or cause strange behaviour. WinMerge is very easy to use. Just copy the xml from my mod  to the one side of winmerge, and the same xml from gameplayData.package (same resource ID) into the other side of winmerge, and compare the data. You will quickly see what I have altered and what (if anything) is missing.

It's a pain when mod authors don't update their mods, but as I stated, I only provide files for the version I'm currently playing. Unfortunately for the majority at this stage, I'm still unpatched. This is why I encourage other people to take my mods and do their own edits. It's very easy once you know which file to change, as finding the right xml to tune initially can be the most difficult part.
129  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 November 06, 00:10:16
Anach, any word on the 1.26 updates for your mods? Im holding off playing Sims till yours are updated heh. Also playing BF3 btw, whats your BF3 soldier name?

Anachroschism is the soldier name, but unless you are in Australia, I doubt you'll see me playing.

The update for pets is about priority. Skyrim and SWTOR this week. Then between now and Christmas there is LA Noire, Batman: Arkham City, MW3, Jurassic Park, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Metro: Last Light, Trine 2, LOTR: War in the North............ etc. I hope to fit in Pets somewhere between all that.

While I can patch these files without the Pets EP or play testing, there isn't much incentive for me to do so unless I want to play too. If there is a mod you particularly like, you might be best getting winMerge, and altering the files yourself. It's very easy to alter XML files. Or even finding a similar mod on MTS, which there are no doubt plenty.

All I can say at the moment is Soon™ Smiley

huh weird. I've been downloading from Medifire all day today and yesterday. Been checking your link several times but it gets me to their startpage. Maybe it doesn't think I deserve them... *sigh*

My Pets finished downloading 5 mins ago. For health and safety reasons installing and kitteh factory will have to wait until tomorrow =^__^=

Here is the direct link to the file http://www.mediafire.com/?9unqftk2kifasrs

If that doesn't work, there must be something you are doing different than the other 10000 downloaders, which mediafire doesn't like.
131  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 November 05, 05:00:54
The previous version compatible before Pets seems to have been taken down by Anach? I can't access it. I don't have Pets installed yet and my old single package folder seems to have escaped (I keep combined packages in the game)...

It is still there. Maybe Mediafire was having issues when you last tried. I double-checked and all is fine currently. I'm also still waiting to get Pets. Smiley
132  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 October 25, 11:36:00
According To Sims3Dashboard -- Your Mode With the new Patch Version 1.26  conflicts with Awesomemode .

Question:

Is there another way to add more skin slots-- dots  in CAS accept This Mod? I want to have more Skin to choose from option .
I was looking inside the Awesomemode Config And couldn't  find such option

thanks.

There should be no conflict with my mod and awesome mod. You can check for duplicate files by opening both in s3pe. It's more likely dashboard is reporting a false positive, or it's telling you something other than conflict errors.

You can use your mouse scroll wheel to see more skins if you can't use my mod.
133  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 October 21, 10:52:00
Sure do. I'll do it once I get Pets, which should be next week. Looking forward to playing it. However, I plan to be playing Battlefield 3 next week too, so it might take me longer than expected.

Soon as I get pets I will look into it.
135  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 August 24, 09:59:19
Finally finished updating to the current patch, although I'm still not actually playing at the moment. There shouldn't be any issues, but as always, let me know if you come across anything.

Also I have included a couple mods that I generated with velocitygrass' tools (MTS), simply because they were in the folder where I keep all my mods. For those two mods in particular it maybe best to generate your own using velocitygrass' mod tools, that way you get your own choice of options. Up to you.
136  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 17th July 2011 on: 2011 August 23, 03:35:05
Well, it may be clothing conflicting, but not on its own, since I had a save with a pregnancy near the end and with a pregnancy tweak, no bump, no pregnancy tweak, bump, with the same clothing. Same with 2 other similar tweaks.

There is also some Generations clothing marked for pregnancy, but it has no morph. More sloppy EA categorisation.
137  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 17th July 2011 on: 2011 August 22, 15:04:55
I've just noticed that the pregnancy tweaks make the bump disappear. So I tried others, and it was the same thing. Do you have any idea what they could conflict with? Dashboard didn't come up with anything.

Well I know there was a bug with 1.22 that caused Sims to get stuck pregnant (if they got reset), but I've not heard of the opposite, nor have I had that issue myself. The only difference with my pregnancy tweak is that it makes the pregnancy duration longer, so the bump may take longer to show than with the standard length pregnancy.

I'm in the process of updating mods as we speak, and the pregnancy mod should be fine, as no updates were needed.
138  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 17th July 2011 on: 2011 August 17, 14:19:16
Can your InteractionTweaks be used with Buzzler's 'Moar Interactions?' Both seems to change the same XML file, but both mods are very attractive to me, I can't choose just one so I had to ask even if it's a foolish question.

Unless Buzzler has done something new today with his interactions mod, they shouldn't share any similar files. His mod adds his own tuning files, and doesn't change any existing game xml. I can't remember all the changes off the top of my head, but If Buzzler tweaks a similar interaction, then it will likely overwrite/replace any settings I have changed for the base interaction, so you can safely use both together.

However, mine haven't yet been updated to the latest patch. Not sure when I'll get around to it at this stage, as I'm having a much needed Sims 3 break and finishing off a few other games I bought but never played.

I have downloaded the latest, and I am clicking on your scripts.
There's nothing obvious I can think of that would cause that. Check the s3sr directory for a log file.
140  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Catalogue Fixes 0.5 - 21 Janurary 2011 [s3sr - script] on: 2011 July 30, 18:03:19
When I click on the file, I have a message s3sr has stopped working.
I set all the paths before, output in the override folder. Anything I can do?

Make sure you have the latest s3sr.

Are you running your own script or my script?
141  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 17th July 2011 on: 2011 July 29, 06:00:47
Quick question Anach, are you Anach from mods.mandalorians.de?  Grin
Couldn't you have asked this in PM?

Yes I am and yes they could.

BTW. I have not yet checked these mods for compatibility against the current patch, and I'll not be updating these mods until possibly late next week, so use at your own risk.
142  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Decrapified Store content missing in downloaded lots on: 2011 July 20, 03:35:13
Strictly speaking, I don't actually need a house at all. What I definitely have, on the other hand, is the new Gothique Urinomicon, and I have it opened for dissection already, so if you were to simply build a lot and plop about 5 copies of that and nothing else, that'd be an ideal test case, since I already had that object isolated and if the lot contains nothing else, I'll know it's there. Just let me know exactly which Sims3Pack set you used so I can cross-reference it. Start with with the non-decrapified version. Also, if you upload a new thing, go ahead and remove the old thing.

Uploaded a test lot. There are 5 Gothique "Urinomicon" (installed via package) and 5 Overachieving counters from the Bayside set (installed via sims3pack). Content is NOT decrapified.

ftp.kludgemush.com/incoming/Non-decrapified%20Test.7z

go ahead and remove the old thing.

Ditto on the test lot.
143  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Decrapified Store content missing in downloaded lots on: 2011 July 19, 11:50:36
I tend to mostly have only the more interesting and older sets. This wasn't built with too much of the really new repetitive crap, was it? I stopped getting most of the furniture packs sometime last year.

Kitchen, Main Bed, Bathroom were all last year stuff.

The only stuff she has installed via package is new content. Older stuff she has via the launcher. However, the sets themselves to matter, it works the same regardless of sets, so if you name a couple sets, I can ask her to build a very simple test house specifically with that content, which should make it easier for you to track.
144  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Decrapified Store content missing in downloaded lots on: 2011 July 18, 10:53:16
Send me the afflicted lot pre-decrapification and I will take a look at it.

ftp.kludgemush.com/incoming/OakishHome.7z

This was a test house made with a mix of package and sims3pack installed store content. Neither the lot or the content was decrapified.
145  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Decrapified Store content missing in downloaded lots on: 2011 July 18, 06:21:13
I tested the imported lot vs decrapifed issue with the help of my Wife, as I wanted finally work out what was going on. I decrapify all my items, where as my wife doesn't. She has some of her stuff installed via launcher and other via package, none of which is decrapified. She built a lot for me to test, using a mix of items from from her packages and her launcher installed items. I took the sims3pack and decrapified it, then installed it. No Store stuff showed up when I loaded up the house, only base game and EP/SP stuff.

So it appears that the method used to install stuff doesn't matter. It seems that if the author doesn't decrapify their items before building the house, then the downloaded house will have no store objects for us decrapifiers.

No big loss. I can make do without.
146  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 17th July 2011 on: 2011 July 17, 03:42:02
Updated some stuff. Don't ask what, as I don't recall. It's like a lucky dip. Tongue
147  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Catalogue Fixes 0.5 - 21 Janurary 2011 [s3sr - script] on: 2011 July 14, 04:25:46
Baa Anach, this method is very useful, and I don't even have modding experience. I tried to fix the Modern Minimalist clock that thought it was a gate, as well as making it shiftable. It seems to be working:

[STORE]
{ClockWallModMin}
OBJD Instance:0x00000000000F45D5 ObjectTypeFlags:0x00000040 WallPlacementFlags:0x002C002

So far I've been fixing items by extracting them to packages from the original sims3pack and then reading them in s3pe. If I wanted to recategorize something from the base game or an EP or SP, where would I find it?

The base/EP/SP stuff is located in the relevant GameData\Shared folder of your installation folder.

Ah, yes, here they are referred to double paned or double hung windows, some even offer TRIPLE paned blah blah blah. My mistake, wasn't aware they were called a different thing elsewhere.  Still doesn't explain your water slide fail. But the back peddling is funny.

"Hurrrrr Nice house, but snarky comment hurrrrr"
"Actually..."
"Hurrrrr Not all the time, because of local topgraphy and climate and other real world things huuuuuuurrrrr"
"Here are some real world facts"
"Huuuuurrrrrrrr it's an imaginary house, why are you bringing up real world stuff? hurrrrrr"

It appears you aren't aware of many things. The water slide is the thing on the lawn, with water, that Sims slide on. Though I'm sure enough people have informed you already.

Interesting that even with all these real world facts, there is still no one here that has proven my comment wrong. In fact, even witch has agreed (below) with my points of regional differences and types of power generations, as well as that water slide you failed to see.

Keep trying.

Wood is a renewable resource, coal and oil are not. I agree it depends somewhat on the power generating alternatives as to whether the pollution from wood burning fires is acceptable. Some of our cities in NZ, Christchurch in particular, have had to change building codes for chimneys and fireplaces in order to cut down the pollution. The city is built on a very flat plain with little wind.

Just to reiterate and clarify. It is a nice Generations equipped house. It simply didn't jump out and say eco-friendly to me. While this maybe down to regional based opinion, and lifestyle, it's still an opinion. No amount of trivial debate can change that.
149  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Eco friendly family house on: 2011 July 08, 18:07:06
"Insulated glazing (IG) also known as double glazing are double or triple glass window panes separated by an air or other gas filled space to reduce heat transfer across a part of the building envelope"

https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Insulated_glazing
While she was definitely wrong to claim that "double-glazed" was in error, she's not wrong when she calls it "double-paned". Perhaps it's a regional thing, but I see that far more often, and google certainly believes it's a real thing.
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=double-paned+window
Not that I mean to imply that google is a scholarly source, of course.

I'm sure a lot of it is regional. Such as wood heating here is considered harmful, and leaving the tap running is considered a waste. Which is the basis of my original opinion. It appears every other post was attempt to correct my opinion with facts, but failing to allow for regional differences in environment, power generation, and the likes, which I tried to point out in my second and sixth post. Also pointed out by witch. At no point have I suggested that anyone's facts are wrong, and it's obvious I don't need to.  Smiley

Can I point out that people are arguing the environmental impact of an IMAGINARY HOUSE?  Because I don't think it can be said enough.

I tried pointing that out in my 3rd and 4th post. Maybe I should have been more clear. I had never intended my opinion to start a Google fact finding mission to educate me in the environmental impact and power generation of wood. At least this gives me an excuse to up my post count Tongue
150  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Eco friendly family house on: 2011 July 08, 17:18:51
In terms of energy saving, you don't want a double GLAZED window, you want a double PANED window. You know. Two layers of glass and a pocket of air that traps hot air inbetween the glass? Instead of just schelacking a glaze on a single pane of glass?

Also, small side note: What water slide?

It is clear your attempt to be scathing and clever has had the opposite affect you meant it to have. Best to run along and pretend that you didn't post here.
