101  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2012 March 20, 18:55:33
Well I'd been using a low end replacement PC for over a month, so it took me longer than expected to sort my data and get everything I needed transferred across. I didn't get much done on the weekend either, as I had to wait for an important email that didn't show up. Then to add to the delay, they sent me a brand new, but whole different motherboard as a replacement, which meant I had to redo my nice neat case layout, and Windows doesn't appear happy with upgrade either, which means I'll probably have to do a fresh reinstall, and I really hate having to do that. Beside all that, my main concern at this moment has been getting my car modifications/repairs finished to get it registered and insured (I had to find something to do for the last month without a gaming PC), and that has taken longer than expected.

The good news is, the EP is installing as I type this, however, I'm leaving in an hour, so we'll see how this weekend goes.

Should have my computer back this evening (hour from now), it will take me a few hours to get it back up and running, so I suspect I'll get around to it over the weekend, as long as it's trouble free.
103  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2012 March 08, 19:07:57
Will you update these mods for the latest version?

When I get my computer back from warranty I plan on updating these to check out the new EP. Hoping I'll have it back by this time next week.

Consider the municipality supported!  Cool

Well to answer the question. My mods work with the patch version listed on the first post, and the readme. I can't guarantee it will be free from breakages if used with a latter version, as it depends on the mod used and what's been patched. Though I've explained this in previous posts already.

I just got the new SP today, but I haven't had time to sit and update my mods or play it yet.
106  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2012 February 02, 00:12:51
So was that a yes to MSS Anach? I am not sure if MSS changed anything core wise, so I am holding off installing it until I am sure.

What's MSS?
107  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2012 January 31, 07:20:16
Haha at necromancy is bad warning Sad

On another note! I took YoungOldPrude's advice in another forum, see "Ice Cream Truck - No Ice Cream" in World of Pudding. After removing AmbrosiaGroupServe mod I am able to see my ice cream again. Could this perhaps be clashing with NRAAS MasterController or anything?

Those objects or mods shouldn't have anything to do with each other. I use both, and I have no problems with Ice Cream Trucks being usable or appearing.

Then I don't know, I only use your mods, awesomemod, and NRaas woohoo, master controller, sleep freedom, traffic, and overwatch.

On a side note: should your stuff be right to run with MSS, or should I just hold off on installing that for now?

I'm not running AM, so maybe something there is causing an oddity. Everything else you listed I'm running too.

That is really strange. I removed all my mods and went through the process restarting with certain files and gradually worked my way to where I am now: No Ambrosia = Working Ice Cream Truck.
I wonder if it's a double conflict, then? When I was at the very end of my testing I had kept AmbrosiaGroupServe in and had ice cream selection available, but then I came to the last mod I had to test (CameraHeightMin) (which I was devastated about, because I couldn't fathom how in the world that would affect the truck) , but when I removed it, the ice cream selection was still blank. So I took out Ambrosia once more, and lo, I had ice cream again.

Give me a few hours and I'll double-check the code against 1.26 and see if I can see any possible way this could cause the issue. If you are merging mods, then it should take care of any conflicting xml files. Otherwise, if you can't wait, use winmerge and open up gameplayData.package and compare my file to your original.

*edit* Double-checked, and couldn't see any errors, or anything else that would affect the ice-cream truck.

After extensive testing, I have concluded that AmbrosiaGroupServe wipes out the ice cream truck's inventory of frozen goods. For the record, I am still working with patch 1.26.

I haven't come across that issue, ice cream trucks work fine for me, I'm using 1.26 and the Ambrosia mod.
111  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2011 December 17, 12:12:07
They are compatible with the version I state they are compatible with on the first post. Anything past that is likely to be broken and at the user's own risk. I haven't updated to the latest patch yet. I will update the mods once I do.
112  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2011 December 11, 21:01:39
every time I download the fcking zip file the catalogue is nowhere to be found. All I see is "Cas fixes Store" and "Buy Fixes." The other files listed are nowhere to be found for me.

My fault. I had pasted the wrong link for the download. Should now be fixed.
113  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2011 December 08, 20:26:53
Looks promising. I'll certainly download it and have a look. Missing family links isn't an issue, as I plan to wipe it clean. I've not used any custom worlds before, so I have no idea if there are any special requirements regarding decrapifing correctly
114  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2011 December 08, 14:11:38
I'm a little tired of screwing about with the in-game placement of new lots, without the ability to edit the terrain, and constantly getting "cannot place on unrouteable terrain" messages. So I was wondering if anyone managed to edit Sunset Valley in CAW and added lots? I know there are lots of custom worlds about, but almost all the buildings I've made are only suitable in Sunset Valley, and before I try getting CAW working and learn how to use it, I was hoping to find a world already done.

Does anyone know if there is a mod that will enable the martial arts tournament in your hometown?  I get so tired of my Sims traveling to China...my computer is slow and the load times are awful.

One of Twallan's mod does that. It's most likely Story Progression, but I can't be 100% sure.

Tsk tsk. Double posting.  Angry

His post... it's gone!

Couple small tweaks to the interactions file and a fix for removing CAS music.
116  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 29th November 2011 on: 2011 December 02, 21:04:39
There is no conflict between those files. My Anach_AmbrosiaGroupServe mod and Twoftmama's Don't Eat Unless I Tell You To \Visitors Cant Use Fridge Combo mod edit totally different files. Open up both files with s3pe, and you can see Twoftmama only edits ITUN files, where mine is _XML, they also have different instance IDs. If there is a conflict report with the Dashboard, either it's wrong or you're reading the conflict report wrong. If it's wrong, I suggest posting it on the MTS board as an error.
117  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 29th November 2011 on: 2011 December 02, 10:53:01
Cry Dephy's Dashboard says the Ambrosia Group Serve mod conflicts with many of Twoftmama tweaks I use, what do you suggest I do?

A.  Pick which mod you prefer to use and keep it in your game, removing the other to prevent conflict.
B.  Leave both mods in your game and risk the game turning into a BFBVFS.
C.  Turn your back on it and never play TS3 again.

Agreed

D. Ask Twoftmama at Crazytown to include this in her mod, I'm sure Anach wont mind since she doesn't do request.

No he doesn't mind one little bit.

However, it is not possible that my mod conflicts with multiple mods you use, unless you are using mods which already conflict with each other. My mod only edits a single xml (0xC804E72F531C6AAD). So at most, there should be only one conflict. Regardless, you can either ask Twoftmama, or tell me which mod mine apparently conflicts with so I can take a look myself, and you may even find I already include similar changes in my file.

Just say the word, Anach.

Only if it bothers you. Otherwise it's just light entertainment.
118  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 December 02, 10:39:34
There's a pet register workaround on here somewhere, Anach.

Yeah it's pretty simple. Don't decrapify the register item and use it as a .package override. Or use AM.
119  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2011 November 30, 10:21:40
I assume the pet register is the same issue as with the spellbook, in that there is a reference in the script to an ID changed by decrapify? I wonder if this is going to be a regular occurrence now, if so, it will be a real pain.

Awesome TY TY! BTW the link to the fixes seems to be off... I had to go through catalog fixes to get to the mod updates file..

I hope everything is ok with your RL pet btw

Hopefully the links all work now. Cheers

Finally updated. Lucky there was a sale on. Almost spent all my money on RL pet Vet bills.

About the non-default skintones that you can see with the UI mod, I was curious: can NPCs use them? Or can they only use defaults?

I was asking since skintones don't seem to have anything like ValidForRandom and I wasn't sure.

As far as I noticed during my own use of custom skins, random generated Sims will only use the default skins. However, if Sims with custom skins have babies, they will usually share the same custom skin as their parents, which causes problems later if you want to remove the skin.

Anach_ReducedMemories - Reduced memories for certain events (don't ask) Made using velocitygrass' "No (or fewer) automatic memories mod tool" (MTS)

Um, use velocitygrass' "No (or fewer) automatic memories mod tool" from ModTheSims? It's updated for Pets.

Anach, thanks for mentioning WinMerge. Makes XML tuning a hell of a lot easier, not mention its usefulness in other non-Sims-related fields. Don't know how I did anything without it! Seriously, they should add that to the XML-tuning tutorial on MTS.

It also compares folders. Very handy tool, and free!

I included that reduced memories package simply because it's in the folder where I keep all the other mods and saved me time. This is why I included info on how it was made, so other people can do it the proper way if they wish.
125  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 24th August 2011 on: 2011 November 08, 22:13:29
I might update other ones later if I feel like it. But by then I'm sure Anach will have Sims 3 Pets. Hopefully, lol.

Hopefully!
