I don't know about the CC theory because I tried it to no avail. My game doesn't crash, it freezes (the kind where you can't click, but bushes and trees keep moving in the background, sounds keep going, etc.)
It may be because I have a Mac, which might contribute to the problem, but after taking out all CC it still froze.
You know, I had this problem and discovered that it was my firewall not liking the game at all. Try to see if you can make an exception for the game via your firewall or tinker with your firewall/virus scanner options. |

Another thing to look out for is the need for a fresh reinstall. My computer over the weekend had completely died (vid card blew up on me), so I took over my husband's computer (runs so much better than mine anyway with a better vid card and proc.), and installed the base game and all EPs. The game let me create a family, build a lot, edit some cloths. But when it came to running the game (sims interacting, saving), it would crash over and over again. I tried to the DEP fix, that didn't work and then I completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, it was the reinstall that ultimately fixed my problems  |

Updated to Version 8. See first post for changes.
What I wrote about the AgingManager applies to this mod too. Should work with 1.6.6/1.7.9 (and WA) now, but I'm not absolutely sure. Please report errors, if they occur.

is this comp. w/ WA? No, right now it's not even compatible with version 1.6.6 of the base game. I'm going to look at it tomorrow to make it compatible with 1.6.6. Hopefully it's going to be compatible with WA as well then, but I don't have WA and it's not really a must-have to me. thank you buzz!!!! |
