26  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Morphing penis (NWS) -new version, update 04/29/12 on: 2012 December 17, 00:12:03
also it is a little weird that the "default" state is hard and not soft, it would be good to change that (or at least create a "set default state" command).

The default state is soft in my game, or at least it was the last time I noticed a naked Sim.

and I dont know if it's possible, but it would be nice a command to stay nude in the game (not "nude clothes", like we find in most mods). it's almost pointless to have such awesome tools to customize the penis and it's only noticeable while showering.

Technically, even the nude pieces that ship with the game could be called "clothes," depending on the way you define the word in the context of the game, since Sims "wear" nude meshes just as they wear clothed meshes. In some cases there are actually multiples within the game itself, which is exactly what you get with custom "nude clothing": clones with unique internal numbering and different category flags. Take the base game male nude athletic top for instance. It's actually not the same as the nude top they wear in the shower, but the only differences are the numbering and category flags. Visibly, they are the same mesh, textures etc, and the game uses them in the same way, just for different categories.

Anyway, you could try this. It allows you to change the Sims into their nude clothing (the way the description is worded indicates that they are the pieces they actually use in the shower, not clones) on command.

There are also quite a few settings in Twallan's SP that can let you keep progression rolling without dealing with immigration/emigration and a variety of other townie- and inactive-related progression features.

The Stone's Throw Greenhouse is *supposedly* fixed now:  http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/623591.page.

Did exactly as their post described, went into game, no community lot. Can anyone provide me with just the community lot for this?

If you got the objects but not the lot, it just failed to place the lot in the library. Do this.
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Any more info about the Exception Raised error? on: 2012 December 14, 21:11:35
It's not exactly unresolved, though. There are two possible problems: bad CC and/or Macs being inherently more likely to choke on the game. There are two possible solutions: take out the offending CC and/or don't play the game on a Mac. Just because you don't like the solutions or don't have the resources to enact them, doesn't mean the solutions don't exist.

Before you take that as some sort of prejudice against Mac-users, it's well-known that Macs simply don't handle the game as well. There are people who will moan all day because their graphics card or memory or whatever are not optimal for the game. No amount of bitching (and ignoring advice to upgrade the hardware) will make their machines more capable. It's the same concept.

Cancer sucks but it is no excuse to be a dumbass.
30  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request: Umbrellas do not degrade on: 2012 December 13, 21:21:30
It would be nice to have that incorporated into AM, but in case Pescado doesn't want to add something that can be handled with a tiny XML mod, this should do what you're looking for.

I, like IAmCat, prefer not to add lots of hacks to my game, which is buggy enough as it is. However, I did try to follow your link, and I also googled "editsim no more broken umbrellas" as well as a few other phrases, and I'm guessing... tumbr is down? I'll try again tomorrow I guess.

Your google-fu is rusty. More general searches are likely to get more results. MTS has two different styles of umbrella mods on their very first page.
31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Any more info about the Exception Raised error? on: 2012 December 13, 21:08:39
Bad CC, according to a fuckton of people here who were having the same problem. They are also using Macs.
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: More Featured Than You on: 2012 December 09, 03:06:40
What I find most appalling is that there are several offerings on the very same page that are far more deserving. Cmomoney's pool slide (something many players have been asking for since 2009), Enirei's mod that allows your werewolves to actually behave as more than glorified collectors, and Fentonparkninja's entirely remade attraction system, just to name a few.

I stand by the comment I made at MTS, though: ForeverHailey's poses make her Sims look more expressive than the actual Twilight actors. I don't know if that means the poses are good or the actors are just that bad (I'm not experienced with poses and I'd rather be beaten with an angry raccoon than watch Twilight) but it's something. But is it worthy of being ranked above the sorts of content I listed? Hell. No. Maybe it's the result of laziness on the part of the MTS staff and maybe someone in "power" is just a hardcore Twitard, but it's embarrassing either way.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Bridgeport redo: where to upload? on: 2012 December 08, 15:45:16
Generally, any sims3packs of CC that you include with your world should package with the world.

Unless you clear your DCBackup periodically.
34  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod Request: Umbrellas do not degrade on: 2012 December 06, 15:55:12
Umbrellas are driving me nuts.
I second this. I'd like it to be optional that umbrellas degrade at all. My sims wash their one set of clothing daily without ill effect, why should their umbrellas rot within two days? At worst it should only be a consequence of hurricane winds or something.

It would be nice to have that incorporated into AM, but in case Pescado doesn't want to add something that can be handled with a tiny XML mod, this should do what you're looking for.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Diesel Menswear Stencil Fix on: 2012 November 29, 23:16:15
Also why doesn't EA release a version with the stencil and  a version without, like they usually do?

Since these are based on Diesel designs, EA is contractually required to remain true to the originals, even if that means limiting the player's ability to customize the items; I read something to that effect in producer discussions of the stuff from the Diesel SP. I'm just glad we have modders to make such items actually useable.
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Morphing penis (NWS) -new version, update 04/29/12 on: 2012 November 29, 00:35:30
Up !

Hello, I would like a little penis, with the top still on, a "upperbody" format, not as a accessory. I got already one, but it bugs, can I send you the file by mail please ? Thanks ^^

Of course if we don't know the context of my message it's a little weird :p

For the pleasure of helping someone. ^^

PS : I don't need the "package", I take care of it my-self, but just somebody to look where are bugs..

It's generally not a good idea to accept files from strangers just because they ask you to accept them; it's a little different than offering something that people want or need and then obliging, and in this case the item in question is obscure enough that I rather doubt you'd get many takers anyway. Perhaps if you describe a set of circumstances where something like that would be needed, and someone thinks it sounds like a good idea, they'll tackle it for themselves and share their version of a...dick shirt, or whatever it is you're asking for. Or maybe they will just mock you. Who knows?

Either way, people here don't really do the whole "helping just for the sake of helping" thing all that often, and even less frequently if you're just some random person who obviously hasn't lurked for more than eight seconds. Just go to MTS and ask for help in the creator forum. Describe the bugs and more than likely someone there can tell you what the issue is without ever downloading the file itself.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2012 November 28, 22:57:17

Is there any way I can find out which EA clothing is enabled for maternity wear?

Of the Store stuff, only a raglan top (The Sex Pistols), something called afTopEverydayShirtTied and a few of the wedding/bridesmaid dresses (erroneously, as they have no actual maternity meshes but they are ticked anyway) are enabled for maternity.

Of the base game/EP/SP stuff, I don't have a list on-hand but you can very easily open s3oc, scroll through the AF CAS content, and check which items have maternity ticked.
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Particular hairstyle shows up correctly in CAS, but won't show up ingame on: 2012 November 26, 10:51:38
EDIT: Setting graphics to max fixes the issue somewhat; the correct hair shows up on the same, but the portrait hairstyle still has the original incorrect with the bald spot.

Did you neglect to clear your caches, by chance?
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: GOOD worlds that incorporate ALL EPs. on: 2012 November 23, 18:20:33
Do you think Sunset Valley 6.0 didn't incorporate ALL EPs?  Huh

It lacks Seasons content. The description, pictures, and links are all pretty clear about that. I suspect an update will be forthcoming, or that the creator assumes most downloaders can swap the central park lot for the festival grounds pretty easily on their own, but it's not an all-EP world as-is.
40  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 November 23, 18:07:50
The items actually do show up except the Lucky Simoleon Casino and the Regency Arcade (which are part of the ones still in downloads folder).

I assume you mean that the rest of the associated items from the sets are installed and working, but the lots themselves do not appear in your bin? This occurs when the Launcher fails to properly install lot packages to the Library folder even though the rest of the files are properly installed in DCCache and DCBackup, so it "thinks" that the files are all where they should be. This is problematic when you try to reinstall because the dbc files register the lots as already installed, so you can't reinstall over them. I don't know if this is a personal hardware issue or a more general case of crap coding on EA's part, but either way it's easy to work around.

You have three options:

1. Uninstall the Sims3Pack via the Launcher (removing references to that content in the dbc's will allow you to attempt to reinstall) and keep trying until it works; you can tell if it worked without opening the game by looking for the lot package to appear in the Library.

2. Move your dbc files out of DCCache (don't delete them). Reinstall the Sims3Pack that contains the lot, making sure a new lot package appears in your Library folder. If it still doesn't, just delete the temp dbc file and try again until it does. Then move the original dbc files back into DCCache, allowing them to overwrite the temporary one.

3. Just leave the Launcher as it is with the Sims3Packs installed (since the rest of the content from the sets in question are working) and extract the lot packages to be dumped manually into the Library. The casino is package 0x1daa41b84d333ba7494cccbce03fb921 and the arcade is 0xe89060ecc1b8ee9542b5d773423a28a6, but for future reference it's really easy to tell which package is which using s3pe.

Now GTFO until you've skimmed through the stickied rules thread.

Probably because you didn't read the instructions.

WCIF a mod that removes the Pregnancy-restrictions? Itīs annoying, that pregnant sims canīt do normal things or donīt even can get their faces painted at seasons summerfests...

They're all over the place. I haven't seen one for face-painting, but Nonamena has some for equestrian activities (at Simlogical) and I think there are some at SimAsylum (by Bluegenjutsu, among others, I believe). I'm sure there are some at MTS as well.

There's no need to sign your posts. We can already tell who is posting.
43  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Help me figure out this Flagrant System Error? I'm an idiot. on: 2012 November 15, 22:23:06
Basic Troubleshooting 101. Next time, try resetting and whatnot before starting a thread. Likewise, doing your own troubleshooting yourself is likely to be more useful than asking for help without us knowing exactly what you have installed. Your best bet is to remove your mods, make sure they're all updated and don't conflict, then add them back a bit at a time to try to narrow down the source of the issue. Nobody here is going to do it for you, not least of all because of the millions of possible combinations of mods you might have. If you can narrow it down to a particular mod or set of mods, take the problem to the creator. AM is mentioned, but it's probably conflicting with something else if this problem hasn't been reported to the AM bug report thread.

Also, double-posting is against forum rules and it's preferred that you modify your posts instead of posting twice back-to-back. The forum rules are stickied.
44  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Do you currently have all store sets or only what you like best? on: 2012 November 14, 21:31:29
I don't believe all the store content is bundled into official compilations, but you could always look. The store site is awful but there aren't that many compilations.

A few items from EP's/SP's have been converted to base game compatibility for downloaders, but not enough to be worth mentioning and not from the packs you listed, as far as I've seen. Just buy them or arr them.

As for the original question, I have everything, mostly so I can download lots without having to check each individual item to make sure I have it. Some creators also cop to using store stuff but don't say precisely what is used. I got tired of cow sofas and that barrel planter of purple flowers.
45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How to get decrapified store content to appear/replace items in a lot? on: 2012 November 12, 18:28:18
I acquired some of my store content legitimately (namely limited edition content and the like). Rather than having to remember what's decrapified and what's not, requiring a mixed bag of overrides and lots, I just arr'd and decrapified everything. My guess is that many others have done he same, as it's probably the easiest solution.
46  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Pudding Factory is for downloads: put your lame requests & WCIFs here on: 2012 November 11, 23:46:11
I just looked in the downloads thread. Both of the compilations that contain those sets are there, with working 4shared and/or mediafire links. Look again.

What do you mean "Overrides" folder?
You make a overrides folder and put it in you mods folder in the packages.. Wink
What do you mean "Overrides" folder?

Go to MTS and read the instructions. Seriously. This is basic shit and MTS has it all spelled out for people who don't know it already. I know you have to start somewhere but help tends not to be forthcoming when you think MATY is that place.
Wow do you really need to be mean to people when they are new and not help them? I realize that sometimes even I make mistakes but its not a reason to be mean to them. Like I had no idea that a mod would conflict with the fix. I have been using that mod for a long time. So I didn't know what effects it had on that fix. I am not an idiot when it comes to using fixes.

I linked to detailed instructions and recommended that Kem avoid further sporking by doing a bit of reading. That is neither mean nor unhelpful. Moreover, the instructions I offered are more useful than the ones from you, which are confusing if not incorrect. The Overrides folder does indeed go in the Mods folder, but it does not go in Packages.

Oh, I'm pretty sure he saw that. Your narrowing it down to tightpants doesn't negate (and, in fact, actually reinforces) the fact that your problems tend to be so mind-numbingly stupid as to inspire fear in others.
