Yup, same here, brand new sims in a brand new custom world for the University/1.50 update, and I got the mailbox freeze last night. I'll go back to using the no love letters mod and clean up my mailbox's inventory.
2  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2013 March 07, 19:59:38
For those who are playing without issues: Are you using the AM config file too?
I ask because I tried to play with AM installed and my Sims couldn't leave work (one was at work the other was playing a concert). I removed AM and the AM config file, and it seemed to work fine. I sent one Sim off to Uni to check it out, and when he returned I saved and tried AM again, without issue, but I haven't tried the config file yet.

Ok, got the bug again last night. It's on the custom world Union Cove. I put all the files from that save's folder into a zip, here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/7bg9aeb0ibzt/n/autosave0_sims3_zip

once the omni seeds (that no one ordered) are in the sim's inventory, how do you destroy them? I can't click on them at all. I have to use the 'take all' button from the mail box to get them out.

If you Ctrl-Click (I think) there should be a 'Nuke' option on them.
I have the debuginteractions enabled, and I don't get any options when I click on the omni plants in my inventory. There's five of them there, now.

Either do what Madame Mim suggested, or use the AM Custom Config, and turn on Debug mode, which will then give you the 'Nuke' option.
5  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Mailbox problems with AM installed on: 2012 November 25, 21:02:27
The only custom content, other than AM, is the no intro mod, and loads of store content in monthly .package files, plus 2 custom worlds. The custom worlds weren't installed when I first had the problem. Also both my sims were single, so no wedding presents to speak of.

I checked, and yup, once again, omni plants. Notice I said omni PLANTS, not seeds.

Oh right. It's weird that if I remove AM the problem goes away though.
My new sim now has the same problem too. He just hit 5 in Gardening, and the first time he accessed the mailbox the game froze. I haven't checked to see if there is an omniseeds in the mailbox.
9  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Mailbox problems with AM installed on: 2012 November 22, 20:43:29
I did occasionally find bills, but they seemed to be love letters that are mislabelled.
I've started a new sim in a custom world (Union Cove), so I'll see if it happens again.
10  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Mailbox problems with AM installed on: 2012 November 22, 12:17:18
Ahh thank you!
I just tried it, and I have 3 omni seeds in the mailbox. Looks like that could be the cause. Any way I can get them, or should I just delete them?

Edit: I put them in my inventory then nuked them, but it seems every day or so the postman delivers more. Is there a way I can give myself an omni seed to try and stop them arriving in the post?
11  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Mailbox problems with AM installed on: 2012 November 22, 10:21:30
Yeah, I tried all different combinations of Ctrl, Alt and Shift.
I also tried with testingcheatsenabled on, and buydebug on. I got an option to 'Nuke', and another time (I think Shift-Click) gave me some cheat options, but even then the only option for the mailbox was delete, everything else was the standard cheats that come with testingcheatsenabled.

Edit: I should mention that I cannot send Love Letters any more. The option is greyed out, and when I hover over it, it says there are no available writing surfaces, despite there being available surfaces in my house.
Also, there was no problem when I started playing with this sim, I could use the mailbox with no problems (sending/receiving love letters, mailing gems/minerals to be cut/smelted etc.)

Edit 2: I nuked the mailbox, then got another one in by using buydebug. It was working fine for a while, I could send and receive mail, but it just happened again.
12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Mailbox problems with AM installed on: 2012 November 22, 09:00:26
I tried looking for the inventory you mentioned (tried Shift-Click, Ctrl-Shift-Click) and couldn't find it.
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Mailbox problems with AM installed on: 2012 November 21, 22:36:58
I've just reinstalled Sims 3 with all the expansions. I used AwesomeMod from the beginning, but only just came across a bug.
Whenever my sim 'gets mail' from the mailbox, the game semi-freezes. I don't know if you have a proper term for it, but the sim freezes, the weather effects continue, trees sway, all that stuff continues, but the game is kind of... I dont know... paused. I can't click on anything, my cursor stays the same no matter what I hover over. I have to Alt-Tab out then close the process in Task Manager. I tried using the debug to delete the mailbox and place a new one, but it happened again the next time there was mail to collect.

If I remove Awesomemod, then I can access the mailbox fine, and I can save, put AM back on, and continue playing. But it happens every time I use the mailbox now, so I can't keep up the song and dance every 5 minutes.

I tried searching, but I haven't played TS3 for a long time, so I don't know if I am searching for the right terms.
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 23, 15:39:01
I recently started a new sim in a new town, and just went abroad with him for the first time, to Egypt. I collected all the items from egypt (camera/tent/shower-in-a-can/food/skill books etc.), and also got a load of gems from exploring the Great Sphinx (I was cursed by a mummy).

However, when I got back to my home town, a load of the items I had gathered had gone. All the gems/rocks, moneybags and artifacts, the storage chests, cherries, pomegranites, and crocodiles, the skill/food books, and I think all 3 cameras (I bought all 3 types of camera to test if the camera stuck bug affects all of them). Some stuff didn't dissappear, like the mummified teddy. The only error ErrorTrap recorded was the 4 crocodiles I tried to bring back:

I am running Awesomemod (And it's config file), MasterController, MCIntegration, and ErrorTrap, as well as a few CC.

I posted this here as well as on the NRaas site because I don't know the cause.

For what it's worth, I downloaded your S3Pack and had no problems getting it to work in my game. I converted it into multiple packages using Delphy's Sims3Pack Converter and ran the files through S3RC. Then I just isolated the lot (0xa16348826fb03ead41d9fe0dd3e284bd) and placed it in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Library.

Aha! I just did the same and it worked! I was putting the package files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages.
Thanks!

Where did I get what? The information or the file?
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 October 22, 07:49:18
I might get flamed for this, but I'm willing to risk it:
The "Graham's Pet Swap Shop" was apparently broken for people who bought the game legitimately, and it wouldn't show up in the community lot bin. The one I downloaded from here did the same thing (it was also one of the few I've had to decrapify for a long time). EA have now fixed it, so I wondered if anyone had the fixed version?
18  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 21, 13:21:08
Great! I downloaded a load of the NRAAS mods, but they still fall short of the amazing things AM does to the game.
19  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 21, 08:55:55
I played for a few hours last night without AM, and had no crashes.
This morning I reinstalled AM, and started a new game in Appaloosa Plains. I changed a few things around in my new sim's house, saved manually, and about a minute later it crashed.

I am running AM, AM Config, NRAAS Mastercontroller/Integration/Errortrap, Nointro, and some simple CC.

20  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 20, 22:07:07
As soon as I removed AM my crashes stopped, and I'm running 2 GTX 470's in SLI.
21  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 20, 20:06:53
Yes, this seems to be the problem I have too.
No ScriptError files, so no way of knowing for sure, but it just seems to crash after a minute of play. My sim freezes, then a second or two after I get the crash.
22  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 20, 11:39:54
I don't want to be the guy that pisses on your chips, but I just had another crash. Here's the full ScriptError:

I think there's something hinky with AM still. My sim couldn't get a taxi to places, the travel action would just drop out of the queue unless it was within walking distance.

I thought it might be NRAAS, but it still persisted when I removed that, so I put it back in, and also added The ErrorTrap.
When running the Sims again, I still had the problem with the taxis, but now ErrorTrap was going berserk, throwing up hundreds of errors. I also noticed the icecream van didn't have a driver, which I think correlates to these lines in the ScriptError file:

Quote
Sims3.Gameplay.Services.Sims3.Gameplay.Services.Service:CreateSimDescription (Sims3.Gameplay.Services.Service,Sims3.SimIFace.CAS.CASAgeGenderFlags,Sims3.SimIFace.CAS.CASAgeGenderFlags) ([23413700] [32]

#12: 0x00023 callvirt   in ScriptCore.ScriptCore.ScriptProxy:Simulate () ()

There are lots of lines similar to that in ScriptError.

Have the same simbin issue as Death-Jester, default config AM only.

Good to hear. Well, not good for you, but at least it's not something I have buggered up Smiley
25  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2011 October 19, 13:29:59
Okay, it seems NRAAS was stopping the game entering Create a Household, but now I found a different issue, which is caused by AM, I took a screenshot of it:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/171/amcahbug.jpg/

There's no premade Sims showing up, and most of the buttons cannot be clicked. The only clickable buttons are the top set, but clicking them doesn't change what you see (ie nothing!).

The only CC I have is some store content, nointro, and AM.

PS: Sorry for double post, but it won't let me edit my first post.
