76  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Custom Default Eyes-By meee :) [UPDATED: Final Version added! on: 2009 July 02, 08:03:26
Do you mean the pure white at the sides? That can't be changed...There's only three DDS's I believe the skintone is what controls the white parts of the eye Smiley.
77  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Donwload not included, so not for Pudding Factory: New Hair CC by Peggy on: 2009 June 28, 03:39:15
I'm pretty sure Peggy just failed. Since I'm having no crashing with HP...so the peggster did something wrong.

You think my GeForce 8500 is dying?
GeForce 8500? I have a GeForce 8400 and I haven't experienced these kinds of problems with TS3, maybe it's cause I have 2GB RAM... meh, I don't know... I'm no geek.  Tongue
Hehe you think yours is bad, I have a 6150 which is like the size of a potato chip and I don't even have this problem.
79  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Donwload not included, so not for Pudding Factory: New Hair CC by Peggy on: 2009 June 27, 13:54:29
Meh, maybe I'll try it out...Once someone responds as to whether it got fixed fully. Maybe I shall download it though, since I'm not one for patience and waiting.
80  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Donwload not included, so not for Pudding Factory: New Hair CC by Peggy on: 2009 June 27, 09:09:07
Heh, maybe just she decided to make it a beta version after all the complaints about crashing. Something alone the lines of, "Oh, you mean this screws up everyone's game? Well, it's just a test version, guys!"

Anyway, isn't this something she would have noticed if she tried it in her own game? Or is it just lower-end computers that are having problems?

Last I heard, Peggy doesn't play the game herself (but that might just be applicable to The Sims 2).

Wow, really? What a douche, who makes something for a game they don't play? XD
81  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Donwload not included, so not for Pudding Factory: New Hair CC by Peggy on: 2009 June 26, 20:29:52
Okay, so I don't get this. I took a look at her package file. It has like 8 files in it...Why? It's a mesh, so shouldn't it only be one file?
Mehhh, I don't like how she put it together  Undecided
82  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Donwload not included, so not for Pudding Factory: New Hair CC by Peggy on: 2009 June 26, 20:07:37
So whats the final verdict. I've heard it's bad news, but they might not be doing it right? Can anyone confirm or deny whether or not Peggy is an idiot(again)?

I want it...But I don't want a crash. I'm trying to keep my title as "never crashed" for as long as possible XD.
83  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Custom Default Eyes-By meee :) on: 2009 June 26, 14:35:30
Okay so the final version is done. Mod is taking too long to upload the files so I did it myself XD.

84  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch released. on: 2009 June 26, 07:53:45
Guys, I need help. My disc is randomly ejecting itself now.  Cry. I do not get what is up with this patch, because it sucks. Is there a way to do away with it?
85  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Evil resource devourer and texture bug on: 2009 June 26, 06:27:26
Sims 3 isn't that heavy on resources.

And that is a hardware problem. As Minx mentioned it looks like a heat problem...
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch released. on: 2009 June 26, 06:24:58
The patch just plain sucks XD. I'm getting extreme lag. And apparently I'm not the only one. My loading screen went from 10 seconds to a minutes but is now down to about 20 blahhh.
87  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Donwload not included, so not for Pudding Factory: New Hair CC by Peggy on: 2009 June 26, 04:10:19
I can't say I like the hair. And I won't be downloading it, no crashes so far, and I'm not planning on them.

But kudos to her for giving us our first hair mesh Smiley
88  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: No Autonomous Put Away Fire Pit Mod on: 2009 June 25, 08:15:29
Aha, thanks so much for this! My sims did these all the time!

For some reason, all my sims kids(even ingame born) Look really good. Here's a picture of my newest born:

I  made both his parents though, however. But still, all my kids are really good looking.
90  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Custom Default Eyes-By meee :) on: 2009 June 24, 22:25:41
Awesome Smiley Please tell me what you guys think. I wanna make sure to improve them before releasing them in a finished version! :]
91  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Custom Default Eyes-By meee :) [UPDATED: Final Version added! on: 2009 June 24, 05:57:24
Okay, so they aren't perfect nor' are they done(completely) but they look good and everything so I thought I'd bring them over here Smiley.
They're hand drawn in gimp. So it's more subtle realism, but not even close to photo realism. Which I doubt is possible. The way EA have things set up is screwed. And their default texture is dead, it's like, a solid color with a dark splotch above it. Mine actually has shade and detail atleast XD.
I'm posting to flickr for the picture, seeing as I'm lazy and don't want to stretch out the forum. Plus it's jpg (ugh) so any smaller and it will be blur city, if it isn't already.

Here it is: http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockermonkey999/3656415986/

and here the download is: http://www.box.net/shared/q60hig84iz

-enjoy!

Officially finished version is now complete! Here's the download link:

Stupid mod took way to long XD
92  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The really real system requirements... on: 2009 June 23, 21:45:50
Okay so this is mah super-duper craputer XD.

Windows Vista(ughhh)
2 gb
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Nvidia GeForce 6150SE(with shared memory from my ram)

I run on almost full settings(No edge smooth or advanced rendering) with absolutely no lag and no crashes thus far. I have no idea why I'm not having bad crashing problems but all well, it ain't broke don't fix it.
93  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Erm.. HELP :) on: 2009 June 23, 10:46:16
Try deleting the entire Electronic Arts folder in your documents ;]. I 'think' it resets the graphic options.
94  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Things you DO like... on: 2009 June 23, 10:44:54
I found a new thing that annoys me...You can't see toddlers skills until they're children. How does this add to gameplay in any way? I like to be able to know everything at a glance. And this just is annoying. But atleast toddlers aren't butt ugly anymore XD.
95  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What, in Heaven's name, is up with traits?! Scary Pic included on: 2009 June 23, 10:37:46
One thing I do is make sure that the fathers have rather feminine jaws and cheeks. Masculinity seems to be passed onto the girls more often then the guys XD.
96  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Things you DO like... on: 2009 June 22, 06:08:35
I like:
-The UI
t do you like?

What do you like about the User Interface, Rockermonkey?
I like how it has tabs and the whole layout of buy and build mode. Also the whole cluttered look is cool to me. Since I like clutter.
97  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Things you DO like... on: 2009 June 22, 04:22:37
So essentially, your "Things I Like" post is a backhanded "This Shit Annoys Me" post. I'm curious why you (general you here because it seems this applies to many people) insist on playing a game you dislike.

I personally love the game. I can only think of a few cons, where as sims 2 was con city. Although I still enjoyed sims 2, sims 3 is going to make it impossible to even look at sims 2. Sims 2 is a big step down for me, for many reasons. I guess I'm just a loner and am different then most simmers. I didn't download much towards the end of my time with sims 2. Plus the graphics with sims 2 was just so unnatural and blocky, sims 3 is very natural and has more lifelike-ness to it. The faces aren't painted on anymore XD. I like it.
98  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Things you DO like... on: 2009 June 21, 09:54:01
So, there's a lot of negativity about Sims 3 so far in the community. So, I thought I'd make a post where we all share what we DO actually like about the game.

I like:
-The UI
-The Sims themselves
-How the neighborhood gives a really community-like feel
-Jobs and opportunities add a lot
-That virtual simulator thing
-The objects that are actually new

There's more, but gah, the list will extend to uranus( Grin) if I add much more.

So, what do you like?
99  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Arr Vs. Retail on: 2009 June 21, 07:15:50
Well, The EADM that comes with the game doesn't have securom...Why did you remove it?

Also, there's no activation limit either...No securom at all actually.
100  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: I asked Pescado...If I could share The TS3 Prima Guide on: 2009 June 21, 05:00:37
Thanks for this Smiley I wasn't even gonna get it...Now I'm still not, but I still have it XD
