51  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 August 08, 15:49:12
Aha, I see. I was wondering why it was scattering then going up so quickly. Usually when I saw a framerate drop before, it would stick. Before the fpslimiter by the way. But now like in the instance I said when I drag a full pattern to a new object in drops down and flies back up.

Cheesy Thanks
52  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 August 08, 14:26:07
Oh I get it perfectly fine Smiley

The thing is, if my game never goes lower then 30 without the limiter, how the heck is it going lower now? I checked without it quickly, making sure my temps didn't go to high in the process  Wink. And I got over 100 with vsync on in map view while playing. Then went into create a sim, and I was still hitting 200. As far as I know that isn't static, and 200 for a computer with vysnc on is pretty high. I don't think the game would have any issues on my computer since my card is fairly recent: Nvidia geforce 9600gt OC 1gb.
Meh, how much does the limiter and 3booter strain the cpu? That's the only thing that could be really doing it other then if it's taking up ram as well. Because my 2gb is pretty low Cheesy.
53  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 August 08, 10:46:44
I'm confused  Grin.

I never reached 30 before so how would it have gone lower? I usually never went lower then 70. But my usual, 100 was way to high. Then in CAS I would reach 300 and in map view I got up to 500 at times.  Undecided I'm gonna try taking the fpslimiter out and trying my game with vsync.
54  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 August 07, 15:29:58
Denial?

Is there any way I can edit the file so that the highest is like 60 or 40? I find the drop from 31 to 26 is a pretty jagged switch, it only happens when moving one pattern thing from an object to another, but yeah Smiley. And then sometimes I hit 28 in game and it just seems to be jagged-ish. I'd like to be safe but also have a complete smooth experience that I had before. Also, I heard that eyes can see up to 60-more, so wouldn't 30 appear pretty jagged?

Hehe, but if I can't I can live, when I saw my constant frames I was afraid for my own life. Even though my card has never reached 70c.
55  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Non-replacement hairs screwing the game? on: 2009 August 07, 14:56:17
What are your computer specs? Sounds like you don't have enough memory or a good graphic card or something.
56  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 August 07, 05:55:39
Are you going to make a new version for the upcoming ep? I'm gonna really need it, as I refuse to play without my fpslimit. Smiley
57  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New peggy hairs. They doesn't replace anything on: 2009 August 05, 14:48:11
That commercial is pure gold.  Grin

I love how the girls are acting like their all beautiful and everything XD. I think like one hair looked normal. Then all the rest looked like...I don't even know...
58  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Animation Smoothing? on: 2009 August 05, 11:30:02
Not really sure. I guess we'd have to test it Smiley. But ingame there is literally no difference with it on and off. And I just updated my card, so I could understand with my old card if I noticed no difference. But my new card is more then enough to play the game so I would see the diff Smiley.

EA is stoopid.
59  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Animation Smoothing? on: 2009 August 05, 04:20:17
What the heck does this do?  Huh

I turned it off and it seemed to do nothing but lower my temps...The description says something about smoother playback. But do they mean in movies? Or is this just a feature that does absolutely nothing?
60  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 August 04, 07:44:05

Bhaha, just thought it looked funny. I'll have better pictures one day XD.
But little woman carrying fatty man.
61  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Creat a style drop-down menu spazzing.. on: 2009 July 26, 03:48:26
Could be worse. Imagine if you were stuck in the wood category for everything.

Did this actually happen? Shocked. I would probably just laugh. XD.

And Prettyvacant, what mods do you have? Try removing any downloads that aren't from the official site/ anything in your mods/packages folder. You don't have to delete them, just move them to your desktop.
62  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Windowed Mode Sucks. on: 2009 July 24, 06:23:16
Oh yes, this has probably been mentioned. But Windowed Mode is the epitome of suck-dom.

Lets start off with the fact that anything lower then your native resolution is blur city, magnified into blobs of massive graphic dissatisfaction. And then my native resolution pushes the words down, making them jagged and unreadable, while also cutting the ends off of words. TS2 didn't do this, so why would it do it now?

Also, the performance hit makes no sense. Since usually Windowed mode is preferred for those with crappy computers. I have no lag either way, but it's noticeable that my game runs faster in full screen. I use the fpslimiter and in windowed mode I sometimes dip below 30 for a second and come back up but in full screen I the only difference in frames I have is 30-31. I'd imagine without the limiter the drops would be a lot more larger and annoying since I use to get up to 100-300 frames in CAS and dipping from high levels like that to normal would probably drive me crazy Cheesy.

Also apparently my edge smoother is borked on windowed mode because even on it's highest it's all jagged and funked up. Yet, I switch to full screen and it's smooth like a babies bottom  Grin.

But yeah, anyone agree that EA completely screwed up on this option. And is it possible that it may be fixable? I mean, I can deal because I like to check my temps every now and again but I may die from my sims being jagged even on the fullest setting possible. And the jagged and crazy text is an eye sore.
63  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 July 22, 18:42:49
Yes, your laptop still has a graphic card. And those colors are probably a sign of overheating, leading to a death in the end.

Download it.
64  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2009 July 22, 07:46:31
I feel stupid...But how does this work without 3booter? I keep trying and I still get to 80 with vsync. And when quitting I get 500 all spastic up to 600...EA WTF.

...but yes, I can't get it to work. I put in the root, directory, and everything do I have to change anything other then plopping it down?
65  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New peggy hairs. They doesn't replace anything on: 2009 July 21, 05:42:28

I'm just excited I can finally recreate the Debbie Downer skits.

You must. haha.
66  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: BREAKING NEWS: TSR INSTALLS SPYWARE! on: 2009 July 21, 05:37:26
Oh, ugh. Thank everything that I didn't use this. I started the installer(Didn't go any further) and lost my cool when my computer starting slowing to a crawl while I was being web-raped impregnated.

Of course this could've been due to the fact that my computer was stupid at the time (my card was in the process of dying, has nothing to do with that but still, wouldn't put anything past old faithful) but lets just blame it on TSR, since their installation is the stupidest thing in the world. Don't remember the details, just remember it was a painful and tedious process.
67  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Caching thumbnails for the CAS on: 2009 July 11, 16:21:22
Ugh I agree, I wonder if there's a way to make a program that will cache it...

Because patterns take forever to load  Roll Eyes

And CAS takes a little to long with loading hairs. I noticed that clicking on all of them and then clicking the one you want makes it go faster...So there must be a temp cache file stored somewhere?
68  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Strange graphical glitch when i zoom in to the stadium on: 2009 July 09, 15:57:45
Hmm, the intel is a shared memory card right? Is there any way to crank up the shared memory. I don't know how to do it, but there must be a way. My shared memory card (Not intel, however) has a little over 800mbs from my memory, so maybe you could do something like that? That looked like something that was actually a issue with my old laptop, I had to keep on deleting this weird error log thing, but that was with sims 2. So I'd imagine it's a bit different now...
69  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What's required for Sims detail set to highest? on: 2009 July 09, 15:51:53
I have a 9800 GT that I just upgraded to.  It works great, all settings are on high, and I haven't had any lag or freezing.  Although, every time I get into CAS about 10 minutes in there and I get a CTD! I have no idea if it's just the game or the card can't handle it! It's really irritating since I love making sims.  Anybody else have this problem?

CTD? What does that stand for? Crash to desktop?

What about your other specs, it's certainly not the card. As that card shouldn't have any issues with sims...
70  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What's required for Sims detail set to highest? on: 2009 July 09, 13:02:51
I have a 6150 and have no problem. Try anisotropic filtering as a member above me said. It helped tons with my game Smiley.

If I can run it, so can you. Haha. I have no lag, except for CAS either.
71  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Question on: 2009 July 06, 19:11:07
Yes you can still download it...
72  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Hack: Download anything from Sims Store for FREE on: 2009 July 04, 02:13:37
Please excuse my ignorance but don't understand how this would even work. Huh
Because EA sucks at everything. Plus it's just a url edit I'm guessing(Haven't tried it) and the site is a dud at hiding things. I was the one that uncovered the whole put capitals in the first letter of every word and it unlocks the pages, back on the 16th(?) when the site was leaked.  They are terrible at everything :pp. XD
73  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Making a better face skin... on: 2009 July 03, 21:47:07
I've seen the normal picture. It has little to no shading at all. The skin files are VERY scattered, you can find them at MTS here:
http://www.modthesims.info/showpost.php?p=2644512&postcount=17

Also the picture with the white 'sclera' is in there, in the faces. Those are every file(At the bottom, in the attached files) that is associated with the skin Smiley.

74  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Need Sims 3 Gaming with Sims 2 Content & Custom Content Capability on: 2009 July 03, 15:49:16

75  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Custom Default Eyes-By meee :) [UPDATED: Final Version added! on: 2009 July 02, 20:05:30
Yeah the eyes only have three files, two are the same and the other is the veins and such, but the middle where the 'white' is, is invisible. So I'm gonna guess it's not possible. But I thought that where the tongue and the teeth are in the facial file there's also a semi- transparent white?
