Just keep saving until it works. I learned my lesson with using save and exit, every time I attempt to use it I get the error.

Also, if you're impatient, use save as and it should save fine.

It is updated though.

That's my TSLHost.dll, my games already patched though. So I'm not sure if that will help.

You can't.

Is the option broken or something? Because according to my settings, there's a box that you can uncheck.

Why can't you just turn off the notifications? Problem solved.

Does that include the 3booter also being linked to TS3.exe?

That won't work. I didn't know how to link it to anything else so I just did it with this:

http://www.mediafire.com/?2zzggw2zmym

You have to open the FPS_Limiter_GUI, and then generate a .bat file for the TS3W.exe. After that, you have to always start it from the .bat file. Until there's a new frame limiter, of course.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Generations: What Sucks, What's Fucked, and What Did EA Get Right by Utter Luck on: 2011 May 28, 16:41:47
Is it just me, or is the frame limiter no longer working? Since it all links back to the base game, should I be running it from there? This game is really empty though, for the seconds I did play. It really doesn't feel like an expansion pack, there's no major feature.

Try later to link the Frame Limiter to "TS3W.exe" instead.
This is now the default executable that will load the game.
No longer the latest EP/SP executable.

Didn't work for me. I even tried creating a .bat file with this fps limiting program I have, did nothing. It seems to do just enough to start the game, then the frame limiter shuts off.

EDIT: Spoke to soon. Created a .bat file with FPS Limiter v0.2 pointing to TS3W.exe, works like a charm.

There's a proper nocd crack for 1.1
I'm using it, the game hasn't crashed yet. It works perfectly fine.

Here it is.

Click on the button that begins with the Ck to begin the download for the nocd. It's just the crack, you still need the regular game patch.

About the stink clouds, that's actually a trait for a Sim. They like smelling horrible. I gave it to my king. No baths for my King! They cause diseases, and the only cure for those are leeches. Lots of leeches.

Thanks for that link, I'm not sure if it fixed my crashes but the options work now.

That random paul.dll file is weird though. What's it used for?
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 23, 13:47:17
^I have the patch installed with the non-updated crack, so I think it's fine.

I did crash once, and my options refuses to open. But other then that, it's seemingly alright.

Same here. Crashes alot and no options since patching. Don't know if it's a patch-fault or unupdated crack-fault...
I'm going to just blame it on the crack. I just crashed again, and I don't see why as I was doing nothing that was in the slightest demanding.

I'll be holding off playing until I get a noCD mod.

Are you blind? They are everywhere.

I'm not talking about cracks. I'm talking about noCD mods, like twallan's for TS3. As far as I know, there's no known way to even put mods in this game yet.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Sims Medieval on: 2011 March 23, 07:55:10
There's no noCD hack out there yet, is there? Ugh, I hate cracks with a passion.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 October 30, 01:04:19
Just my luck, I actually deleted the old .exe  Roll Eyes

Looks like I'm gonna have to reopen the .iso, and I was using the cracked one because I didn't know that there was problems; I've been behind on this kind of stuff for awhile now.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 October 30, 00:55:56
Hmm, my games been acting weird today. Its crashed twice, once it restarted my computer; second time it was to the desktop.

I checked my crash log and it said this
"type: ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x00000005"
And then my installation path. Could it be that the crack I used is screwed? Or maybe I did it wrong, but I know I replaced the old .exe with the one I downloaded. It also said "DasmX86Dll.dll" is missing?
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 16:02:23
Honestly, downloading from the links Erry posted is way faster then using the torrents. My torrent took 3 hours to get to 13%, the files posted took me about 3 hours to completely finish. It's installed and works pretty much perfect from what I've seen so far.
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 02:05:29
I decided to cancel my torrent for those links, I wasn't getting anywhere.

Much better now, still taking awhile; but atleast it's going at a constant rate.

It's because they wrote the link wrong on the receipt, I believe.

http://www.thesims3.com/incentive/LateNightRedeem

There you go, I don't have a code though.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 26, 23:50:10
Alright, I'm downloading now. It's painfully slow, but it's downloading nonetheless.

Does anyone have the serial though? I never like to download the .nfo file, if I can get the serial without it.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 26, 22:45:17
It does seem as if the reloaded release is out, I saw one on piratebay.
Anyone downloading?

I must say, the new water reflections are really nice; same with the breast and muscle sliders.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Horror... on: 2010 March 14, 19:32:50
Well you could try as I said before and turn detail lots to 1. I personally never noticed it, I feel that setting is just a waste of resources. I've never had an issue with view distance though, I play in an almost birds eye view angle so maybe that's why. But the only way to stop the whole 'lots loading constantly' thing is by turning it to 1, which I recommend.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Horror... on: 2010 March 14, 15:25:17
I don't see why your having those issues, I have the same amount of memory and your processor meets the requirements, I also have Vista. My game ran perfect on med/low settings when I had a Nvidia 6150, so I really don't get what's wrong with your game. As of right now I have a 9600gt and was able to play on full settings before my psu commited suicide, except for detail lots.
Advanced Rendering does slow things down quite a bit sometimes, so I hope that helps you at least a little bit.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Horror... on: 2010 March 14, 14:34:07
I know you were talking to the OP, but I have lot detail at 1 (The lowest). My FPS decreases similar to yours but mine goes much lower and also randomly, like when I'm rotating the camera a lot.

I tried taking out the FPSlimiter, all that did was make the game even jerkier, and it brought back the grainy screen issue and the dreaded noon and midnight freezes back to life! I'm sticking with FPSlimiter.

Oh, and I do have the store hairs and one custom hair for men. But the lag is everywhere, even when I play default townies with NO cc. Undecided

Hmm...What's your specs?
You may have to turn your graphics lower, turn off Advanced Rendering if it's on and see if that works.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Horror... on: 2010 March 14, 13:15:09
Turn down High Detail Lots. That's the one setting that I had to have on the lowest on my computer (can't play atm, PSU is screwed).
I'd recommend keeping the frame limiter in, without it you'll still go in the hundreds and it will have the same dips in gameplay. At least this is how it was for me, basically if the 30 drops to 26 or so, it would've dropped in the same way without it. Your computer will hold it at 30 until it can't, or it's loading a new lot etc. When I had detail lots on it would dip to 20 for a second and then pop back up, it just annoyed me so I can live without it.
Other then that, how much hairs do you have? While it may not seem like a lot, there are high poly hairs out there that CAN slow the game to a crawl.
