Daycare profession is just plain pointless. The kids are left overnight frequently (and unannounced), which causes them to stay until the next shift. Then, suddenly they disappear, and my sim jumps to the front of the lot. After all of that, and hours of keeping the kids' mood high, job performance doesn't increase.

RE: Empty Bars

Are you all checking the times that these bars are empty against the times these bars are supposed to be hopping?
There is, apparently, peak days/times for each bar. I would imagine if you're not visiting the bars at these times/on these days it might be what is causing the lack of patronage.
If you are visiting at peak times/on peak days and they are empty I wonder if it has something to do with computer specs.

At the risk of jinxing myself, I haven't run into any problems thus far. Athletic skilling works, work hours are normal, no crashes. I only ran a neighborhood for a few hours to test stability before jumping into build mode, though.

I had that happen and what I think i did was, i managed to decrapify perfectly good .package files in the mod sub-folder in my documents that was added with ambitions. not only that but it seemed to decrapify the DCbackups as well.  

What i ended up doing was clearing out the DCBackups and re downloading all the packages i had in my mod sub-folder, ended up running smoothly after that.


to avoid doing it in the future, either decrapify one by one or temporarily move your packages to another folder outside of my documents while you batch decrapify then clear out your DCBackups.

Well, my speed was at 170 kB/s a while ago, which was shocking, but welcomed as that was the highest it's been since I started the torrent yesterday. Now it's back down between 8 and 10 kB/s. Pathetic, really.

I've already set it to allocate a high amount of bandwidth, but is there anything else I can try to help the speed along a bit? Perhaps changing some kind of setting in BitTorrent?

I noticed at least one person mention that they were playing Sims 3 on a laptop - so, for those of you who've been using one, I'm curious - is it a super spectacular gaming laptop, or just a really good regular laptop?

report of standard EAxis phail. Bitra Snorgbessen has a daughter with Cyclon Sword. Daughter (Celia) has never interacted with father (that I know of). Bitra invites other love interest around (forget his name) and makes out with him in front of toddler Celia. Both mother and daughter get lost friend moodlet, Celia also gains betrayal of loved one and innapropriate behaviour by a guest - What?!

My excitable sim is very funny, though. He got so excited by catching a bug he had to tell someone, and since there were no people around, he told a tree. This made his social go up. I am thinking of making him a cave-dwelling hermit.
