You are running from the launcher? There is your problem, right there.

Find this file in your C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3.exe. Right-click, send to desktop, create shortcut. Use that to launch game.

Or: Use the 3booter to launch.

This is reminding me of when I was playing with the Spore Creature creator. I could play for hours, creating the little monsters but as soon as I went to save the game would hang forever. I think it was something as simple as updating my graphics card, but I'll see if I can find out what the advice was, exactly.

[edit] I think that is all it was. Can't find the exact info, but I just looked at the Spore site and apparently the crashing issues in the CC was fixed with a patch.

Which folder have you got awesomemod installed to? Do you have any other mods? I was having the crash problems when I had another mod loose in the same folder as Awesomemod (pre-patch, last version before patch)

No crashing once I moved the other mod.

User Presets just have stuff you make in such as patterns and outfits, I am quite sure, so deleting it will do nothing. It is in the same folder as the cache files I regularly purge, so where are your cache files that you are deleting?

Mine are in; C:\Users\ME\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3

I think you can install and uninstall without any problems unless you are using the Supreme Commander feature of the mod. And yes, we are lovely here aren't we. Very helpful to unstupid people.

Yeah, I already found it. My browser window malfunctioned and cut off the page about 3/4 of the way down! Yeah, I am using the disc version. I checked my registry and there is nothing there in relation to PACE.

I don't have a 'PACE' folder at all on my PC. I googled and there is nothing to link it to anti-piracy software.

The only time any sim other than slob or insane can rummage in trash (in my game anyway) is when they are in the Journalism career path. They have to rummage to get 'dirt' on their neighbours and friends and then write articles on them. I've never had a sim without those traits be able to rummage in bins for no apparent reason.

I wish you could do stuff at the beach like you could in BV, such as seashell hunting, swimming in the sea and building sandcastles. I was slightly disappointed that all you could do at the beach was fish. They can't even sunbathe!

For now. I guess Peggy can't risk alienating her future paycheck by charging for beta items.

Are you sure you have the latest version of Awesomemod? Clear cache then redownload. Check the dates.

Oh, and my Awesomemod is loose in the Mods/Packages folder. Does what it says on the tin.

My mouth is really that small so I guess all this time my TS2 sim has been a FAKE! Oh, noes.

Here is mine. Looks pretty much like me apart from the fact I couldn't seem to get my hair colour exactly right, this is slightly darker than my RL hair. Got my body shape spot on though, even down to the meaty butt!





I dunno if LTW's, traits and favourites are 'shipped' with the exported sim, but if they aren't then just choose what you want, apart from Evil, Klepto or Vegetarian. I really don't want to be a clowncar either. However, there is a Goopy posted somewhere in this forum, so if you must, you must.

You did actually unrar the cracked .exe didn't you? It is simples. Unrar to desktop. Zip up original .exe and place somewhere safe, JIC. Delete original .exe. Copy and paste cracked .exe into C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Seasons\TSBin. Right click on .exe icon and choose 'send to...desktop (create shortcut). Close folder. Run game. Easy friggin' peasy.

You used the No-DVD/Fixed EXE one and not the fixed image one didn't you?
