1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Death AND Destruction! Meteor Strike on: 2010 June 07, 05:48:48
I just had a sim set herself on fire (and expire) whilst sculpting something out of metal.  Haven't experienced a meteor, though.

The only reason I moved the Mods folder was because a lot of the store/custom content wasn't showing up in game until I moved it.  I am a techtard, however, so listen to Pescado, as correlation does not always equal causation.

Edit: I moved the Mods folder and Resource.cfg file back to The Sims 3 folder, and everything works fine.

Writin_Reg - I downloaded the latest version of 3booter.exe from the first post here (looks like it was last modified on February 3) and put it in the HELS folder.  I then deleted the old version from my WA folder and then moved the FPS_limiter, HookHelper, Limiter_D3D9 and Resource.cfg files from my WA folder to my HELS folder.  Then I deleted the old desktop shortcut to 3booter and made a new one from the new file.  Then I ran the game and my fps stays around 30, like it should.

Edit: Don't forget to move your Mods folder (if you have one) from the WA folder to the HELS folder so the Resource.cfg file can find it.

Has there ever, in the history of that site, been an effective e-petition?

Day before yesterday I re-downloaded the files from the first two posts in this thread, installed them, and they worked fine.

Edit: Sorry, Sabrewulf - "install" as I used it = unzip files to World Adventures root install directory...Glad you got it to work!
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do you give a collar to a pet? on: 2009 September 11, 00:57:04
Haven't played Sims 2 for a while, but you should be able to click on a mirror, choose the option to "change appearance" of a pet, and place a collar that way.

I've had this happen, and found one of two things seem to work:

1)  Delete the taller roof and then click undo, or

2)  Delete the taller roof, then raise or lower the the level of the conical roof slightly, and then click undo to bring the taller roof back.

I waited until I had 13 different perfect fish in my inventory, bought a few tables and 13 bowls, and stocked them one after the other.  The wish was fulfilled without ever feeding any of them.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: BREAKING NEWS: TSR INSTALLS SPYWARE! on: 2009 July 21, 18:26:37

In short, chances are you have virus (that is the plural of virus STOP RAPING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!) and/or malaware.

Wait - virus is the plural of virus?   Cry
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Technical problems with THE HORROR: downloading, installing, and running it on: 2009 May 21, 03:22:53
I have Vista 64-bit and it works fine on my computer.

Random tidbit:  If you pull up the cheat window and type in "jokeplease" (sans punctuation), you get a random joke, one of which was, "Did you hear about that new pirate movie?  It's rated ARRRR!"
