Perhaps, rather than having the promotion foisted upon you, you get to choose whether to accept it? That way, your happy-being-a-DJ slacker sim can stay a DJ.
If this option is easier to hack, I'm all for it! |

Is it possible to do a hack that would allow the player to set, per individual Sim, the highest career level possible for that Sim? In other words, if I have a Sim in the Science career and I only want him to get as far as science teacher and then, despite skills and friends, not be promoted further, is such a thing doable? I know Pescado has harder jobs, but I'd like more control on a per-Sim basis. Once I know if it's possible, then I can see if there is a hacker (awesome or otherwise  ) who might be willing to make such a thing. |

I'm curious about aikea guinea at TSR, I haven't had a chance to try anything yet. Does it play as nice as it looks in the pics? Yes, it all looks awesome in the game. I love her stuff. |

Does having a good relationship with the staff (waiter? concierge or whatever?) have anything to do with lowering prices? Or did I imagine that. I personally wouldn't know, because I rarely ever send my sims to go out to dinner. I may send them downtown on dates, but rarely have them sit down to eat at a restaurant. And even then, I haven't really done any of those restauranty specific things (or had them done to me) like waiters spilling food or dine and dashing. I should try that once, just to see. Hehe. Ste If it's due to friendship with the staff you get a little pop-up saying, "Since you're such good friends with SimX, 30% of your bill has been comped", or something to that effect. |

A Sim goes out to eat and orders Filet Mignon. The bill is $2. Same Sim with a date goes out and they order spaghetti and cake. The bill is $64. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it but I haven't been charged the correct amount for a restaurant meal in ages. I'm not even sure when it started because until recently I hadn't sent my Sims out to Community lots very often. I can say that it may have started after OFBp1, but before FFS, GL, and OFBp2. I don't have Pets installed.

I suppose ACR can stay. I understand that it would be a major PITA to take it out. Use your own discretion as to how it's used. Just curious, are you (Rohina) playing Legacy with ACR? That must be interesting!

ACR doesn't affect jealousy that I know of, and it's autonomous, so you don't actually control it.  The fact that it's autonomous is what I was referring to. I don't want them woohooing who they want, I want them woohooing who I want. |

Macro-kick is allowed and encouraged. All that does is save you from having to queue up "kick" a bunch of times. And, yes, not sleeping is a definite plus. My Sim did not sleep once during the entire time she was in Uni. As Pescado said, Make Me Smart is intended to fix lost Smart Milk effects that were legitimately obtained, so using it on a CAS YA would be taboo. You may switch majors as often as you like. You pretty much have to switch every semester in order to fulfill Woohoo 10 professors.
As for ACR...I don't use it so I'm not sure on that one. Does it alter the relationship requirements for woohoo in any way? Personally, I think I'd want more control in this challenge, but if it doesn't change the relationship standards or alter jealousy, go for it.
