1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Error codes 12 and 13 along with crashing. on: 2009 October 12, 00:15:41
I had error codes 12 and 13 until I followed the advice of Jordi and only Saved, not Save and Quit.  I also cleaned out my downloads and was fine for a week. Now unfortunately I have two layers of my Sunset Valley neighborhood, a blank one on top of the real one, with holes in the blank one where buildings would be. I have no idea how I fixed this when it happened to my Riverview Neighborhood. I'm playing in bootcamp Windows 7 on a newish MacBook Pro with 4 gig of memory and have tried emptying all my caches, shrinking my Saves folder, reducing downloads again, and will just keep fiddling until I find a solution.  At least I'm not facing error codes 12 and 13 anymore so I suppose that's progress.

This is quite a story.    I am still trying with little success to understand the telenovela of Life Stories MTS2: Package Files Unleashed.  Numenor and/or Mary Lou (what did she do?) exhibited EA property, extracted from a new game, inviting the public to view and downlad with delightful results! Straight faced, on a sight that decries any smidgeon of borrowing any material developed by another "artist", there was the guts of the Life Stories, extracted from a commercial project!  Directly opposed to their policy!  Negative attention is better than none, as my adult children always demonstrate.. And it certainly worked!  EA insisted the files be removed, N and M appear contrite, yet have the street cred(?) of having provided us all with sexy (!?) new toys, and the soap opera is well developed with rumor (Blue Soup disappears, her files live on), a Yahoo Group dedicated to the cause and more people than ever interested in the game.  If I was a full blown conspiracy theorist I'd wonder if this was planned as an ad campaign from the beginning...no.  Life is always stranger than fiction.  And thank you to everyone involved in this great story. And in honor of the curmudgeonly request to stop thanking each other-thank you to everyone who has taken the time to say thank you.  Manners, like saying thank you, are what keep us (eventually)  from shooting each other.  They force us to recognise each other as human.  As someone who has been trying to civilise children for 30 years (currently working with grandchildren) saying thank you is a really good place to start.  Sometimes a thank you button is  just not enough.

I've been using the Numenor version of Life Stories, and read about the better Blue Soup, (more nourishing less fat) but realise that Blue Soup has canceled her forum.  Is there any other way to find her version of the stuff?  Or is it in that great garborator in the sky?  I've got the MATY coffee stuff, and don't know if it's gauche requesting stuff from a dead forum so feel free to tell me if it just ain't happening. (Sometimes it seems like the rules are a little random around here, you know?) Thanks.

Thanks, I'm on a Mac, and who knows when we'll see these extras.  I was hoping someone would do these hairs!

I'm seeking Sagesims clothing too.  I got a wonderfully appropriate warning about Necromancy and dead threads.  A fitting topic for elder clothes.
Seriously though if anyone can help with gigge clothes I'd be very grateful.  Elders were almost normal with those outfits.
