("Cretin" and "imbecile" work just fine too. As does "Paris Hilton".)

ROFL... Oh, so true.

Why, yes, he was. And completely and utterly barking up the wrong tree generally.
53  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Autonomous career selection on: 2006 September 08, 08:58:52

Yus, it is and it is not, despite all the cries of protest, cute. Gah...

56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How Can I Re-virginize My Sim? on: 2006 August 30, 16:47:57
First time..? I felt nothing but vague disappointment that sex was built up to something important when it was uncomfortable and quick. And it rapidly becomes dull unless you're 'in love' or keen on playing lots of games.
57  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Hat Stands For Thinking Caps & Noodlesoothers on: 2006 August 30, 16:33:46
Huh, that's odd. Still, they are there now so that's all that matters.
58  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Hat Stands For Thinking Caps & Noodlesoothers on: 2006 August 29, 10:00:56
I'll check again.

*I'd put them in my Hacks folder, as I do with most stuff from MATY, so I placed them in the generic downloads instead and lo, they did appear!
59  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Hat Stands For Thinking Caps & Noodlesoothers on: 2006 August 29, 09:43:56
These would be great if they only showed up in my game. And I've checked, oh believe me, I have.
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone else using Sims 2 Categorizer? on: 2006 August 23, 15:47:06
I'm certain that someone said there was already a clothing catergoriser in the pipeline... That will be a very nifty little tool for getting rid of all the lame stuff I've got hanging around in my downloads folder.  Smiley
61  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: a place for the newspaper on: 2006 August 17, 15:49:56
Definitely shiny. Having me some of that, by jove.
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Calling MaximilianPS! on: 2006 August 17, 15:41:29
Max, that's just wonderful! I make splendid cake if you're ever in the UK.  Grin
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Calling MaximilianPS! on: 2006 August 16, 12:15:53
Kiss Kiss Kiss Thank you so much.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Calling MaximilianPS! on: 2006 August 16, 11:16:17
I know that you said you would consider requests for objects so I am most humbly begging you to make this if you can.

I would really like some topiary that I can stomach for my gardens and this is just awesome.
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: And even more pimpage...Strangeview Legacy 1 on: 2006 August 12, 10:01:51
Very funny, Reg.  Grin Though I think you might have been taking quite a BIG chance with the breeding and those ex townies...
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Rant - The ways in which the sims community is completely insane. on: 2006 August 10, 09:00:25
Unless you plan on selling an object (or selling support for that object) there is no point in having copyright on it. That's why all my mods and such are public domain.

Wouldn't selling something like this be strictly illegal? Or, at least, extremely difficult, as you would be launching yourself into the domains of copyright and other nasty legal terms.
67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: GET THE HELL AWAY FFROM THE REGISTER! (Idea for a hack) on: 2006 July 28, 10:01:58
Is it released yet?
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CRT or LCD???? on: 2006 July 28, 10:00:47
A CRT be lobbed 400 meters...

By yourself or using a decent catapult? Aim would be better with a catapult.

I notice colors much more than flatness or lack thereof. I'm very, very picky about color. So until an LCD can match my CRT for color, I'm sticking with this.

I'm colour blind so take very little notice of this aspect, but what I do like about LCD is that they take up much less room and I can surround my pc with the junk I need.
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Another shameless Ubuntu plug on: 2006 July 27, 10:24:53
Wow, Dizzy! Splendid...  Grin
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Looking for Rugs? on: 2006 July 25, 19:47:40
My hat, a metaphorical one, is doffed to you.  Cheesy I've actually gone back and got a few more bits of crap rubbish cc because something else caught my eye. *Whines plaintively* But I was trying to be good because it's a new game on a new computer.
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Looking for Rugs? on: 2006 July 25, 09:12:07

Not only rugs, but bedding and curtains which are my own particular foible. 4mb proudly added to my downloads folder... sigh.
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Freaky Toddler! on: 2006 July 25, 08:50:03
I've had the extra eyes thing a couple of times that was related to a custom skin - blue, if my memory serves me correctly - which I no longer have. Have never seen the teeth though. As for the odd baby, Hegelian, it looks quite cute to me although I think sim babies are quite generic until they get to be toddlers.
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Yabba-Dabba-Doo! on: 2006 July 22, 14:34:16
Only like eating infants, J.M.?

Nice stuff, Emma. Think I'll go build me a new neighbourhood.
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Rant - The ways in which the sims community is completely insane. on: 2006 July 17, 09:25:30
I have been considering a coup d'etat of sorts, to oppugn this ridiculousness. ... I think it would be kinda funny if all of us that make stuff (not that I make a lot) started posting our creations to some of these sims2 warehouses. The caveat however, is that we want our stuff to be distributed, cloned, edited, torn apart, recolored and uploaded everywhere including and especially the exchange. Tongue

This sounds like a very good idea as reverse psychology has a confounding effect on people generally. I know the suggestion was tongue-in-cheek, but still... (I don't create, don't have time and am far too lazy.)

The interesting point liegenschonheit raised at the start of the rant about how a well-known publication got rants from some little worms in the modding community because they had the temerity to give information stunned me. As someone who has aspirations (writing), any notice taken of my feeble efforts would be well received. What's wrong with these people? Are they insane? It's a worry, eh?
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bombs away! on: 2006 July 02, 22:31:38
Every now and again, something comes from the non-awesome which is truly breathtaking. And I do mean as in burns all the oxygen required for respiration. Splendid!
