Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Random orange trackers on sims (update)

Apparently that's Awesome Mod story progression. I always thought the brown houses were friends of the active sim. I don't know why they only sometimes show. I don't recall if they can be turned off, I'll ask Pescado. NRAAS has 'Tagger' which allows you to assign tags, but don't know if they can unassign them or whether that would cause a conflict between the control mods.
ETA: Those tags are brown to me so that's where some confusion arose.

I've uploaded my Awesome mod config, and my NRAAS settings. I only have MEGA as online storage so don't worry that it's all encrypting and decrypting in the link. (Which is partly why I don't use google or MS as cloud space). https://mega.nz/folder/otYmGZpB#IG0vamn1P4SW5lCCLqBlsQI still use the original set up for my mods, before they were all moved to 'MyDocs', so when I export NRAAS settings it doesn't drop a copy in MyDocs. I have to export the settings as a *.sims3pack, then install in a new game like any *.sims3pack. Then put the library file on a lot, just as if you were installing a building. It takes a wee while but it works. There is a setting in NRAAS somewhere (!) that makes 'ask if single' and another similar option non-romantic so sims can ask those without triggering a romantic response. Don't know if that could be connected. Lastly, make sure you have the latest NRAAS mods.

I run both Awesome mod and NRAAS. I have paedophilia disabled also. My simfests work with performers and my adult sims can romantic all they want. One of the issues is making sure the Awesome mod kicks in before NRAAS. I have AM up a level from NRAAS in the directory structure. In NRAAS settings I have story progression turned off. In the main EA game you must have story progression turned on so AM can use it. If that still doesn't help I can export my NRAAS settings to you.

I'm pretty sure it's linked to the singer/acrobat/magician careers. If you host, or are hosted by another player to do performances in game, it unlocks the rewards for doing so. More stuff for those careers. The rewards may be in buy/debug.

TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Sooo, Does Anyone Play This Game?

GoblinCum, I'm struck by your 'over the top' response to the Sims 4. Have you no sympathy for the devs who had a mere month to turn the game from a mobile game to a computer game?
Talking about unplayable games have you ever tried "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream"? This is weird, I found the wiki and apparently the game was released on 1995 for PC, I suppose DOSBox qualifies for that category. Most confusing game I ever tried to play.
ETA: Damn, the game is no longer on GoG.

I've been thinking about uploading some of my houses and commercial buildings to Mega as a backup. When I say 'mine', I mean stuff I have made, collected, and/or modified. I'll put a link up when I've done a few. A day or two from now probably.

Have story progression turned ON in the game. Have story progression turned OFF in Awesomemod's config file. Insert NRAAS story progression mod wherever you keep other NRAAS mods.
Awesomemod only supports game version up to 1.67 AFAIK.
Awesomemod and NRAAS can be used together. I put AM on a higher level in the directory structure, don't know if that makes a difference.
Stuck with only Steam or Origin? Arrr, that's a pity.

Mod the Sims 2 - do they still have Sims 2 tutorials? If your CC has a corrupt file it may prevent all the clothes showing. Delphy made a file checker for sims 3, did he do one for sims 2? Checking for file clashes et al. Then there's the binary test. Try with half your stuff, if it works put it to one side and halve the remains and so on. Are you fully patched?

Sometimes I get a bout of crashing. I run the last patch before Origin in case some files have been corrupted and that seems to help. A reboot before starting the game will usually help too. I play TS3 on Win 7.
Hey Aussieone, did you see the new TS2 clothes? Some are really nice.
