Most of those live nation items do look like crap.  To top it off, I just read this following quote at the bottom of the live nation page.

" * To acquire these items you must have purchased SimPoints from The Sims 3 Store. You cannot solely use your promotional SimPoints on these items. Promotional SimPoints are points you received with purchase of a product or that were otherwise awarded free of charge. "

EA won't allow people to spend their "free" points on the items.

Great pattern!  Thanks for sharing.

Cool review. I've been debating getting GA.   I got several of those EA cash cards half off and free overnight shipping discount from EA.   So the game won't cost me much.

I have been reading the spore bbs and saw several of the sheep say EA removed securom.  But I hardly trust anything I read at an EA forum.   If securom really is removed, then I will get the game without hesitation.

I came across this one at the following link.  http://rapidshare.com/files/167088344/Crack_Only_1.03.rar

I have not downloaded nor installed it yet since I am away from home for a few days.  I have been told it is "safe" - meaning no virus or trojans.  But since I haven't attempted to use it yet- make sure you are careful.  If you do try it before I get a chance to, let me know if it works for you.

I would love to install patch 3.  Unfortunately the only No Cd cracks for it either have securom still on it or contain a virus.  I know there are working ones at a few pirate sites, but I am unable to run the torrent programs on this network.  So for the favor, is it possible that some kind hearted soul could upload a working no cd crack for patch 3 to media fire or some file share site?

Thanks in advance if you do!

Yeah I have been waiting for one too.  I might just back up my game and then try the unholy hybrid.

I wonder what will happen with the cute and creepy. If they make a no cd for the cute and creepy pack, I can install patch 3 and then install cute and creepy and use the no cd for that. At least I would hope it works like that.

Has anyone had any problems after adding the 3rd patch?  I don't want to install it until I know it won't completely bork the game like the 2nd one did.

Thank you for all the info.  Cheesy

Is there any benefit from playing "registered"?   Are you missing out on things if you simply play offline with a no cd crack?

Sorry for all the questions.  I am off the philosophy that it is easier to look dumb and ask a question than to take the time to fix your errors afterward.  Cheesy

I do have a "store bought copy."  I got it as an unexpected gift.  I already have the game installed and a no cd in the proper location.  I just haven't done anything else yet til I find out what will get me securom infested and what won't.

Registering it though will use up one of the 3 limited installs correct?

I've been going online with the cracked exe and everything seems to be working fine to me (and SecuROM free!).  It's awesome when other player's creatures are invading your game btw.  Cool

ETA:  You do have to own a purchased game to get a valid registration code to be able to go online though.

Question:  Using a no cd crack...  It let you make a user name and password?  Are you able to use all of the online features and stay securom free?
12  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Anyone using the "no cd" for spore? on: 2008 September 08, 01:45:27
I installed the game.  I installed the proper no cd .exe.   The game still wants me to "register" my game.  It wants me to make a screen name and a spore account.   What should I do?  Have you guys made a screen name?

Excellent!  Thanks Cheesy
14  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Anyone using the "no cd" for spore? on: 2008 September 07, 19:38:17
Hey all!  I am wondering if anyone is using the no cd .exe for spore.  I normally use the no cds for all of my games. But spore has me a bit concerned.    I received it today as a thank you gift ( otherwise I would not have purchased it at all ).   Before I install it, I want to know if the no cd will stop it from connecting to the internet.  Also will it try to connect if I add downloads or custom content in the game?

I know that gamecopyworld does have links to a working no cd .exe.   I am just hoping someone will know if it stops securom from installing and if it prevents the game from connecting online and verifying each time. IS there anything special I have to do for this no cd? Normally I just put them in the place of the standard game's .exe.

Thank you in advance. Cheesy

Warning: The following post is more than a little bit off-topic.

Not to be mean, but: Your username is seriously "SNUGGLES"? Don't you think the all-caps is a bit unnecessary?

Not that my username is any better, but for the gods' collective sake, at least it's sentence case!

Rofl!  Well this coming from someone with a username that is barely pronounceable and doesn't make sense.   *winks

I have been trying to find some kind of logic or pattern to date gift giving since nightlife launched.   I can't find any at all.

I normally do not get anything besides roses, even for dream dates.  Scored outings though tend to result in some kind of gift ( 60% of the time ).

My sims date all kinds of townies and college kids as well as other playable sims.  It doesn't seem to make a difference at all.

I hope someone is able to figure out the coding and what prompts the gifts.  I have many poor sims who would love some goodies.  Cheesy

Why don't you just download a no cd instead of making it?  It is a lot easier.

Hell, I will give that a shot.  Thanks.  Cheesy

Hey I am hoping that one of you tech savy gamers can help me out here.

I am trying to remove this securom crap off my nephew's pc.  Sadly though he has windows vista ultimate.  Everytime he tries to run trashreg  it keeps giving him an error message saying that " this program needs MSVBVM50.dll which is no longer included in this version of windows"
I am at a loss as to what to do.  Does anyone know of a way to get this off a windows vista ultimate pc without reformatting?

Thanks!

Sorry to bump an older post.  But this is something I think is very cool.  We definitely need some recolors for the servos.

Has there been any more progress with the recolors?
