As for the walls & floors, are you sure you extracted the correct files? The large image files (LIFO) are the ones you want. I also extracted all the walls, floors & terrains and they looked fine, when I extracted them they were the proper size and not blurry at all.

The floors are in objects08.package and the walls in objects09.package and they are usually listed in doubles, one version in small the other is regular size. You have to make sure you extract the '0' version as that is full size.

example of sizing:
wall-panel-bamboofronds41_lifo_128x256.png  <--- small version 128x256
wall-panel-bamboofronds40_lifo_256x512.png <--- correct version 256x512

*note the number of the file the one with '0' is usually the size you want.

Also make sure you are exporting the image by right clicking on the picture of the wall and selected 'export'. They export to PNG files.

Hope that has helped. I will see if I can gather up all the walls & floors and make a collection file for them and post the for download if anyone wants. None of the ones I converted are blurry.

I got this bug with the maple trees again after Teen stuff, the only way I could get rid of them is by deleting every maple tree from every lot in the neighbourhood. That fixed it. Its very annoying since I like that tree.

I hope it gets fixed.

Thanks! Love the other 2 hair styles, but sadly they only show for Young adults - adults & elders.

Its beacause the plant skintone is more like an overlay, like the vamp tone, sort of. You can make lipstick show but you would have to use bodyshop and make lipstick but saving it as Blush. The blush layer seems to be on top of the plant tone.

nochangingclothesatdoors.package  <--- dreams  Grin

I'm still begging for a hack to stop Simmies changing clothes everytime they go through a door. I'd rather select when they change clothes the old fashioned way. All this swishing is causing lag and its annoying the hell out of me! grrr (the non swish hack has no effect here)

I have requested this hack a few times on several sites and as yet no one has made a hack, is it because its not possible or too awkward?  I wish I knew how to do things like that. So I really hope one ofthe talented folks can make this hack.

Thanks for reading

I think I'd like it if they changed without spinning.

They can, get Monique's 'change outfit-no spin', seems to be working in my game so far.

Not for me, although yes - there is now spinning animation for wardrobes - the door changing still causes the spin.. I really hope someone sorts this out, the constant changing of clothes is very annoying.

a hack stop my sims from changing to outerwear everytime they go through the front or back door? Its driving me potty!  Grrrr its very annoying. Also makes the coat rack thingy somewhat usless.

I haven't really got to grips with the game yet, so far I have been through winter and part into spring and apart from a teeny bit on snow cover on the ground I have yet to see any weather. Also only managed to grow sickly tomatoes.. yum teehee

Any help regarding this constant changing of clothes would be greatly appreciated, its really ruining the game for me.

Thanks

Same here... my sims all refuse to get in cars since pets, I have noticed it seems to be mainly on the cheapest car and if the driveway is placed furthest left, but it seems to be affecting the other cars too. I have been trying in my limited way to narrow down the prob by taking out new mesh cars, the only thing left is the anti-watchout hack. The sims stomp their feet like something is blocking them.. I have had my sims walk away from the car and direct them to get back in, nothing helps - they refuse ... stubborn sims! grrr

For me this hack is essential, I don't know why EA put that silly 'watchout' in it... I mean, what are they watching out for? LOL There's not exacley and over abundance of traffic in Simland.
34  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2006 May 25, 22:57:59
I thought it may have something to do with portals as all the problems are portal based really, aren't they? (i don't know very much about the inner working of the game)

But this happens on every residential lot, without fail.

I'll give it a go, thanks for your advice.
35  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2006 May 25, 22:36:52
First off, I don't know a thing about 'debugging' - but I have had this problem with my game since NL and I asked at another forum and the reply I got was that I should try debugging, thing is I got nothing else, no clues as to what to do, or anything...

So i went to search for myself and my quest lead me here..

Onto my problem...

On every residential lot, everytime any sim enters the lots, either a walk-by or a visiter - especially the mailperson - the game freezes for about 20 seconds. This also happens with cars entering a lot, like the maid, repairman etc.. also when my sim goes out in their car.

The most annoying part is the mailman (& walk-by freeze ups), because they turn up almost everyday, so at 10:10am my game freezes...arghhh I don't want to get rid of the people walking by or the mail being delivered, I just want this apparantly simply action to not freeze my game.

I have stopped hiring maids or calling delivery people because the freeze-up is very annoying.

anyhoo.. Will this debugging thingy help me at all? If so how do I go about using it. If there is something more appropriate that would help this problem please let me know Smiley

Hopefully there is a solution.

Thanks in advance

I have had this VERY handy hack installed for some time, but I have noticed that none of my business' have had a reporter show up and they are all doing very well. Could there be a conflict stoppping a reporter showing up with this hack?

Thanks
