1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 11.01.2012) on: 2012 November 03, 17:11:54
I have installed your updated stuff and it's all in the correct folders. I am still not getting any cooking interactions. I just tried removing all my mods to see if there was a conflict but alas... While it's not the end of the world, but it obviously would be preferable to find out why this isn't working for some.

Thanks

The grill isn't working for me either, just the trick and grease options. I have your fixes that are up to date. Hmmm very disappointing, but not surprising. Really hope this gets fixed soon.

I have just spent ages searching through MTS for this Rig-Fix by Granthes and I can't find it anywhere... Is it just not generally available yet? or can you provide a link to where I might get it. Thanks.

Has anyone else noticed that oddly (or not), the island from the new Villa Kitchen set isn't CAST-able? Very annoying, but not surprising. I have no skill what-so-ever to fix this but I bet someone here could Wink

I have noticed this drop in texture quality too. I thought maybe it was a combo of nvidia's latest driver and late nights changes to the games options. Hope it's fixable because as you say it can be distracting.

Oh blimey! I know it doesn't help you at all, but I wanted to thank you for letting me know about the cough drop mod. I do have that... Now I have to decide whether it's Sims jumping out of the nectar drinking loop or coughing and spluttering over their food, hmmm.

Thanks again.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Gain Skills Faster for World Adentures, now with an option at 50% on: 2009 December 08, 20:26:44
I am using the half speed one and I can challenge other Sims to ranked matches and spar. What I am having problems with is Sims unable to drink nectar they just jump out of the sequence and leave glasses all over the lot. I am wondering if this mod is causing that, I will try removing it to see.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Might be helpfull for people with overheating issues. Frame rate limiter on: 2009 September 18, 11:09:25
I have been searching online myself, but come up empty so I thought I'd ask here.

I just installed this and everything went OK, clicked on the bat file - game starts up just fine... However there is a large bright green flashing numeral display in the upper left corner. I checked my FPS Limiter and I did not turn the OSD on and indeed the bat file is saying it's off.

Does anyone have any clues as to why its still there, its very intrusive. I would like to to use the FPS Limiter as my Nvidia GTX 260 card is new and is a whopper of a card and gets hot quickly, even with lots of cooling.

Thanks

I wasn't able to download from the links above either. Hopefully they will be able to sort that out.

I had very few sim points left, but I was able to buy 2 things -

* Barrette and No Bangs
* The Octane Suit

Which you can download from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?zea0yeddktm

In future can you please contact me before you use my textures for things you plan to share.

Anyhoo, I used to get very upset about this kind of thing.. but well life is too short - as long as people ask I would probably help them out and make something for them or help them with textures.

On the up side, I'm glad you liked my textures.

I wonder, since you have been looking into fish related things!! .. if you might know what could possibly be causing a problem I have. I recently noticed that the fish tanks in the game (except the huge AL one) have no sound anymore, I was sure they used to make a bubbly gurgly sort of fish-tank sound. I can't think what might have caused it to suddenly stop producing sound. I have no fish tank related hacks or downloads. I do have all exp packs and stuff packs.

Just hopeful that you or somebody else might be able to shed some light... I admit its not a major problem - but now I noticed I don't have fish-tanky sounds I want them *boohoo*

Thanks Bunches
Xianah

*ps.. I did google this and search through quite a few forums and ask.. but alas..
14  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Art Nouveaulicious Collection on: 2009 January 08, 11:23:48
Thanks for all the goodies folks.
I have noticed one or 2 probs, maybe its just me but the double door does something odd where by from one side it looks normal (although it does appear glass-less) but from the other side of the wall only one side of the door shows (I wasn't using moveobjects on). Also the teen & elder versions of the brown Shirley Temple hair have missing textures.

Other than that, I love this set. Thanks again

Aww no probs! Wink

I would lurve to have these in my TS2 game. I would prefere them not to be default replacements though. I guess I am a shrub obessed lune after all... Hahaha

Thanks  muchly if you can make these for me.

Umm ok fair enough. Didn't mean to offend.

They are bigger though... I just took some pix - I don't wish to sound like a total shrub obsessed lune, but I hate knowing I'm right and being told I am not!! Lol

They are fuller and I think nicer, especially the phlox. Perhaps someone will extract them in time, or I can see if I can do it myself.

I wonder if anyone has extracted the: Literal Rose, Babbling Bougainvillea, Oleander, Hydranger & Phlox? I know they are pretty much the same as the Ts2 versions, but the CS ones are larger and much nicer. I had a look around but couldn't find them. So if anyone knows if they have been done please point me in the right direction.

Many Thanks
Xianah

I just tried to export the textures from one of the hairs (the blonde and pink one) but Bodyshop wouldn't let me export it.. Is there something special I need to do to the hair files in order that they become exportable?  I'd love to make some new textures for them.

Thanks

I am really looking forward to the beds. The island style ones are really lovely, i'd get a lot of use out of them in my game and I can also see a lot of use for all the military styled objects including the beds as well.

As for the bedding files that I extracted, there are 15 - but only the island style ones show up for the island style beds and in that respect there are only 7, but the military style beds have their own bedding.

Here is a lil' pic of snippets of each bedding that I found Wink The miltary style ones are at the top (obviously!)

Ah, OK I'm with you. I hadn't realised that wizards of Simpe makes such a mess. Thanks for pointing that out.

Ooo and your going to extract the beds, that will be great! I'll just remove the bedding download - I think that would be best Wink

Are you just referring to the bedding files? or are the walls & floors horrible too?

There are 15 different bedding files, some are only used for certain beds in Castaways, so they don't show up for all - but they use the same mapping.

I used homecrafter for the walls and floors, so any errors there is beyond my control.

I will make the bedding files again using SimPe the normal way (I used Wizards of SimPe 1st time) and then you can see if they are any better.

23  Awesomeware / Playsets & Toys / Re: Salvaged Stories Crap on: 2008 February 09, 14:21:14
my files? umm I'm pretty sure I did it correctly. I have been doing this for sometime. I checked over the files they looked normal to me.

Anyhoo, I'll remove the links if you feel the files are not correct.

For the walls and floors I simply used Homecrafter and for the bedding for speed I used Wizards. So I'm not sure how those programs could have messed thing up so badly as you say?  What excatly is the problem with them and I will take a look at them.

As far as the files go, they have no actual castaways data on them all I used was a PNG file, so if they are corrupted somehow, it must be homecrafter or wizards.

hmmmm....

As for rapid share, I just chose it for quickness, also I have never used any torrenty thingy. I do have my own website, but they are crappy with bandwidth and it would run out in about 3 seconds even though I pay for it.  If I can get these files up to code, as it were... where would you suggest I put them to share?

Thanks

I uploaded them to RapidShare.

Here is the link for the walls, floors & terrains. The walls and floors are in various sub catagories and mostly priced at around 3 simoleons. For convienience I have also included 2 collections files, which should be placed in your collections folder. There are 210 walls, floors & terrains in this set.

Download link: http://rapidshare.com/files/90400693/Xianah-CSWallsFloors.rar.html

I hope you enjoy these files and I hope its OK to post the links here.

Glad I could help Smiley

I have rar'd up all my walls, floors & terrain files and made collection files for the walls & floors. The walls and floors zip is 11.4mb - where would be the best place for me to store such a large file so others can download it?

I also extracted all the Castaways bedding files Wink (2.91mb) which I am willing to share also.
