That's why there's a question mark, because I don't expect it to be that big of a change to the structure of the lot.
27  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Phail: December 2009 on: 2009 December 08, 02:49:37
The tree in the front yard could be a bonus rule?
28  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Phail: November 2009 on: 2009 December 07, 13:56:55
I suggest Minor Manor from Teen Style Stuff, it looks absolutely hideous... even though my vote won't be taken in due to being a 12, so yeah.

ETA: A few bonus rules to it could be

1) Leave the porch
2) Leave the willow

EA uploaded a new teen version of the Christmas caroler outfit and it's been compressorized and uploaded here:

Well, you can't really achieve a lot of antiquity using a residential lot, unless if you add a lot of bits and pieces to it, but its simpler to make antiquity in a comm lot, since you only have a set theme to it.
31  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Phail: November 2009 on: 2009 November 28, 16:19:33

It's an art gallery, with an octagon ballroom in the back and a restaurant, there are no bathrooms because I couldn't work on it for a long time, since I had to get to bed.

32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 under Windows 7 on: 2009 November 23, 20:46:34
I am using a x86 RTM build of Windows 7 Ultimate and TS3 and WA work well.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Buyable Training Dummy For WA on: 2009 November 20, 17:36:56
Rider, I just discovered that while this mod enables the training dummy to be bought at home, it actually disables it from appearing in the buydebug menu, meaning it can't be placed on community lots.
Well that's odd, it shows for me in both buydebug and the entertainment and skills section.

Has anyone been having any issues with custom hair?

I have only left Aikea's skins and eyes in and when I attempt to place my hair content back into my game it slows right down.
The same thing happens to me, I mean when I had the basegame and used custom hair, as well as it being on EVERYONE in the neighborhood, my game was fast, now it's just slow.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Buyable Training Dummy For WA on: 2009 November 19, 17:32:15
But all there is in there are spawners, tomb objects and clutter, and a few decorations.

It actually has everything: the training dummy, board breaker, tents, cameras, snake basket, scooter, giant decos, you name it. Everything you can buy, and can't buy, in the three locations.
Oh, I guess it was because I was too caught up building my tomb.
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.7/2.2 on: 2009 November 19, 08:36:39
For those with WA, it will update both the basegame and WA.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Buyable Training Dummy For WA on: 2009 November 19, 08:27:16
Thanks, now we can make dojos. Could you also do the breaking board? Also hope it will be possible soon to make camera stores in the main hood...

Wasn't there supposed to be a cheat that would unlock these items (the category appeared as a ? in pictures)? Could've sworn there was one, but now I can't find anything about it...

To get it up you need to use 'testingcheatsenabled true', and then type in 'buydebug on' and it should show up when you get into buy mode. But all there is in there are spawners, tomb objects and clutter, and a few decorations.
38  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 September 27, 21:36:31
I did a search, found nothing... just telling you all. So anyways, I started my game, the game didn't load... it did, but at the first loading screen where the game loads with those mini-card-things, the bar always stays empty, there's no music in the background and the game just doesn't move, I tried with all mods, I tried with another bunch of mods, I even tried it by itself and it still doesn't work. So what should I do?
39  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Phail: September 2009 on: 2009 September 17, 03:21:58
Finally got around to reinstalling TS2 on my laptop again, and will now start working on my entry.
40  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / TS3 was to include weather. on: 2009 August 30, 20:28:13
By weather, I mean snow and rain or all four... I don't really know... but I got these copied text files from two .ini files in TS3 from a friend.

Quote
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
;; Tunable Parameters Related to Rain and Snow
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
;;
[TerrainRainParams]

; Specularity is a function of "wetness", but this function does not have to be linear.  This sets the exponentiation used to translate
; "wetness" -> "specularity".  Should be 0 < x <= 1.  Lower numbers make for sharper transitions.
RainExponent = 0.5

Water:
Quote
; Texture coordinate scales for normal map levels 1 and 2
; Level 1 is a noise map that is identical to that used for liquid ponds
; Level 2 is an ice-specific normal map (regular tangent-space map), frozen_pond_nm.dds in Engine/Water.
; Note that the shader expects level 2 to have an alpha map to mask in snowdrift effects on the surface.
; Alpha multiplier for snowdrifts.  Higher multipliers will result in more pronounced snowdrift effects.  Use this for quick tuning,
; if possible rescale the image intensities (frozen_pond_nm alpha) such that this value can be one, so we can optimize it
; out of the shader later.
SnowdriftAlphaMultiplier = 1.1

I didn't know where to post it, so I posted it here.

Heh, I was just building for fun, I don't really like adding anymore things, just like changing it and keeping it simple.  Smiley

I had a thread like that on SS but it's old now and stuffed between other threads.
44  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: EAxis House of Phail: August 2009 on: 2009 August 12, 12:20:40
Oh crap, I've been so caught up with creating my custom TS2 'hood, I'll get to building after I finish playing my legacy for a chapter or so.
45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: 1.3 patch stupidificated the sims. on: 2009 July 30, 08:12:13

I found it!
46  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What is Deltabuild? on: 2009 July 30, 07:29:38
It's the new fixes, one is 1kb, and it has fixed audio. Another has four .dds files which, I think, are fixed textures. The other one, contains all non-sound or texture fixes, or at least I think so, never really checked.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: 1.3 patch stupidificated the sims. on: 2009 July 30, 07:15:42
One of my friends had sent me a picture of the taxi trying to drive over the school's stairs. It was also after he had installed the patch, I guess EA fixes something, just to cause another thing to borken, anyways, I think we'll be seeing a patch to patch a patch.

48  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: White recolor of town hall(Updated and non-replacement) on: 2009 July 29, 01:14:31
He cloned it through S3OC by Peter, you can find the tool at sims3tools.
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: White recolor of town hall(Updated and non-replacement) on: 2009 July 28, 18:03:47
Well, my friend explained it to me in a sort-of easy-ish way...

He cloned it, opened the package through S3PE/I and extracted the .dds files, opened through photoshop(with the plug-in), then replaced them by 'set-file' and it was recolored, I'm thinking of opening it again and recoloring the curtains to velvet red...
