Great story, how did you make the foundation (Well, not exactly the foundation but the "thing" that serves the same purpose.) so high?
77  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Married a cheerleader who always dresses as lama on: 2005 July 30, 04:58:54
I never got the point of an animal costume... How could you NOT walk into something and doom yourself into a big fireball that is visible from outer space? Not to mention all the heat inside of that heap of trash.

78  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: More Hospitality for Visiting Family & Friends? on: 2005 July 30, 04:54:38
That's why I always resort to controlling them myself...  Shocked
Stupid sims.
79  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: HUZZAH! Banned from Rentech.com! on: 2005 July 30, 04:43:01
I know. Isn't the neatly bubbled, coloured in script so adorable?  Cheesy
80  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nannies Invasion...:) on: 2005 July 30, 04:22:22
I like the second idea much better.
It seems she got quite laugh even though the insidious hellspawns were obliterating her house...  Wink
81  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You gotta juggle, before you can eat... on: 2005 July 29, 02:56:51
Possibly, since true awesomeness is so awesome that no title could ever describe its awesomeness.
Maybe that is why the site simply referred as "moreawesomethanyou," without any limitations on the extent of awesomeness.  Smiley
82  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nannies Who Won't Leave on: 2005 July 29, 02:33:52
I deleted her.  It worked.  I do not have any downloadable cars, although I did at one time discover some and deleted them.

Chris

You shouldn't have done that. All nannies MUST die. Period.  Wink

Some of my sims don't shoo at all, even though their outgoing is quite low, even to complete strangers. Savages.  Shocked
83  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You gotta juggle, before you can eat... on: 2005 July 29, 02:30:18
You should learn to bask in the light and glory of duckspeaking. It makes you much more awesome, although you certainly can't be the epitomal, archetypal exemplification of quintessential awesomeness.  Wink
84  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Am I a bad person? on: 2005 July 29, 02:24:53
Cheating is good. Not cheating is bad.  Grin  Anyway, you by cheating put you in a disadvantaged position since you had less time to build skills and so on, and that's hardly something to be called bad.

Though I agree with you Darkstormyeve, Marsha Bruenig... is a hellspawn.

85  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You gotta juggle, before you can eat... on: 2005 July 29, 02:22:42
I could try, but I would sound horrible and everyone will laugh at me and His Awesomeness Pescado will probably rip my lips off.  Grin

'There is a word in Newspeak,' said Syme, 'I don't know whether you know it: duckspeak, to quack like a duck. It is one of those interesting words that have two contradictory meanings. Applied to an opponent, it is abuse, applied to someone you agree with, it is praise.' - Nineteen Eighty-Four, George Orwell

In good terms, it is talking in such a monotone, banal voice that you distort reality, believing only the things you are told.
In bad terms, it means the opposite but duckspeak should be perceived as a more brutish sound, as in like a real duck.

86  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You gotta juggle, before you can eat... on: 2005 July 29, 02:12:46
Sorry, but this is hilarious.  I had this picture of all households all over the world (well, ones with fridges anyway) having to juggle before they could eat.  I'd starve for a start, I can't even juggle one ball.

I have to agree with you there...
This is simply the most bizzare event I have ever seen in my history of Simming...
Darkstormyeve, and Vecki, have you tried juggling as well?  Undecided
87  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: HUZZAH! Banned from Rentech.com! on: 2005 July 28, 16:08:01
I have had problems downloading / seeing photos when not registering.

I thought this thread was about MAKING FUN of illogical behaviour, considering that Rentech will probably NOT change her opinion?
Fear leads to hate, hate leads to anger, and anger leads to suffering. Paranoid is bad! (Insert 'mkay here!  Grin)
88  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: TUTORIAL: Neighborhood Terrain Surgery on: 2005 July 28, 15:53:20
Very nice, I always wanted to change the extremely hilly terrain that was torturing my building skills.
Muchas gracias.

I didn't know you could even move the houses... heh.  Embarrassed
89  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: HUZZAH! Banned from Rentech.com! on: 2005 July 28, 15:35:57
Maybe she didn't have lips in the first place?  Wink
90  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Biography reader on: 2005 July 26, 02:02:15
It works in practice, I have tried it. Really, there isn't much point to that unless you are tired of visiting all the lots, since the NPC's and townies don't have bios.
91  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: HUZZAH! Banned from Rentech.com! on: 2005 July 26, 02:00:50
That is hysterical! I did the same thing. First, I did a double-take at the subscription fee, had a split-second of confusion followed by a moment of suspicion, then I saw the head blow off the cartoon guy. I had to kick myself for almost falling for the joke, even for that fraction of a second.

Hehe, I had the same reaction, but after seeing that the samples were actually EVERYTHING I understood the point. Such a beautifully cruel work of art.  Wink
92  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Other Games? on: 2005 July 26, 01:35:59
"Kill one, and it is a tragedy. Kill millions, and it is a statistic."

If I remember correctly this is by Iosif Vissarionovich Djugashivili / J.Stalin of good old Soviet Russia?  Grin
I've taken a fancy to Starcraft recently but I've all but given up; it gets awfully repetitive after a while.

93  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How about a "don't eat the rotten food, you moron" fix? on: 2005 July 22, 15:31:59
It's quite silly that most foods spoil within such a short time. I'm forced to stick to gelatin, which lasts a whole day.  Roll Eyes
94  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Changing relationship requirement for interactions. on: 2005 July 22, 01:42:50
I do that all the time.  Grin
95  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2005 July 22, 01:42:17
I get the stuck bug only when I constantly encourage, either through macro or queing it up for visitors. Very useful, thank you.
96  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Changing relationship requirement for interactions. on: 2005 July 22, 01:16:45
Is there a possibility interactions could be modified so that their base relationship range is changed? Attacking someone, (As in the jumping on them and fight like an insane zergling until the other person falls on the ground sense.) for example requires an extremely low relationship. I have always wanted a hack where one could ALWAYS, no matter what the relationship, beat up anyone to their heart's content.

Seriously, what is the point of maintaining a 100/100 relationship eternally? Such things do not happen in real life, or Soviet Russia for that matter.  Smiley

97  TS2: Burnination / The War Room / Re: Factoids and Statistics on Skill Gaining on: 2005 July 22, 00:08:03
I use cookbook when the fun level is reasonably high, then switch to Yummy Channel when it falls, but very rarely. Those blasted Sims either stop watching or switch channels, thus daring to contradict the will of the overmind. There are hacks here to solve that, but Yummy Channel is quite the noisy one, anyhow. Though I admit, the violence doesn't hurt. It's very nice and fuzzy, really.
