Pay your $29.95 a month and there should be no problems concerning the Fund.  Wink

I've had family diagnosed with it too, but luckily nothing bad came out of it. I hope the same happens to your mom.

Luckily modern medicine does cure most breast cancer cases, like gali pointed out.

Oh I'm trying not to get my replacement lips ripped. Shoud just stop at 299 posts.  Wink

Laurenke how is it possible to have three sets of lips ripped off?  Were the last 2 just ceremonial? Grin I usually use the Insimenator (sp?) to get the career I want, especially for those new careers I've downloaded, because in Soviet Russia job definitly chooses you.

May I brag a little bit? The Israeli Merckava Tank is the best in the world for now...Smiley.

Nooo, it is definitly the Leopard 2 A6.  Wink Canada (where I live) uses the outdated version of this tank - the Leopard 1. It will soon become used as they are scrapping them - and not replacing with any other tank either.

Though I might add most modern nations are working on new tank designs, except for Russia, where tank design develops YOU!

American tanks were quite efficient IMO but they had no respect for them at all.
I wouldn't say they were EFFICIENT. Cheap, maybe. Buck for buck, they were certainly a match, but there's only one problem: Every time a tank gets destroyed in the process of matching them buck for buck, PEOPLE DIE. This is not something that is good for morale.
The Shermans did die in hordes due to their pathetic armor but I believe they had quite impressive armour penetration due to the new types of ammunitions used such as the fin stabilized armour piercers  - and reliability. If I remember correctly around 200-400 out of 1300 Koenigstigers made were abandoned due to mechanical failure.

So, who would you think of as extremely attractive women among celebrities we might know about?  (Personalities and abilities don't count here, just appearance.)
Nobody, really. I don't know of many celebrities, and the ones people show to me don't really attract me. I'm known for consistently handing out ratings no higher than "Meh". As a result, I'm occasionally accused of being gay. They all look too plasticky for my tastes.

Most celebrities look so "unnatural" to me, just like the dark side.

People love having someone far more AWESOME than them.  Wink
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sexual Preference Not Changed By Woo-Hooing? on: 2005 August 10, 05:35:50
In truth, they are all generalisations that are just fun to read.  Chinese horoscopes personality profiles seem to be even more accurate at typically describing my friends and family.  No one's surprised by my sign anyway!
I personally prefer the Horrorscopes, the prediction of dire unpleasantness that will befall you in the near future. Tongue

I would indeed love such a thing, why is it that horoscopes tend to emphasize the positives? One severely flawed Chinese horoscope went as far as to  lable every single sign as successful.  Smiley
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How about a no-clog or reduced-clog toilet global? on: 2005 August 10, 04:39:30
Ah yes, the good old T-34/85 tank. Argued by some the best all-around medium tank of WWII. You must have had it for a long time.  Wink

American tanks were quite efficient IMO but they had no respect for them at all. Pershing was never developed like the Soviet IS series were, and during the Korean war the South Korean army recieved no tanks initially. Wusses. Not to mention American tanks are still not the best in the world.  Tongue

Yes.  You can learn how to more creatively insult, point and laugh. Cheesy

I've never seen anyone I know who didn't laugh at "In Soviet Russia..."

And this site is definitely the liveliest around at present!

And free of idiots, if I may add.  Wink
61  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No stupid stranger behavior - ever. on: 2005 August 09, 23:04:12
Well, even if roaches are quite dangerous I would think that the better reaction would be to go immediatly call the exterminator or spray them yourself. (which I always do) Sims are such wusses, sometimes.  Angry I remember my paramount frustration when Sims constantly stomped roaches in the Sims 1... heh
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: graphics card? on: 2005 August 09, 22:56:35
hmmm...I could have swore there was a setting in SIMPE options regarding image and video quality. I will have to check again tonight, I think it was normally set to low in my game but I could change it. (I didnt, because I dont care, but I could if I wanted to)

There is, I saw on TSR before but as far as I can remember it was clarified that Geforce 2 MX will not be affected by that. (I have the card myself and didn't bother doing it.)

There is Sims2Enhancer for Sims 2 as well as Uni, but you have to pay for it. Well, it isn't as expensive as this site which costs $29.95 a month!  Wink
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No 20 K Handout. For every sim? on: 2005 August 08, 02:13:21
I have it in a subfolder and it works fine. You could try to remove all hacks except for that one and try it out.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Make writing a novel more worthwhile? on: 2005 August 08, 02:09:55
I bet "Mrs Harry Potter" is doing quiet well.

I saw a news item about the author of the Potter stories. I didn't pay much attention, but I did hear the word 'millions', that I am sure of. Personally, I have never read any of those books, nor have I watched any of the movies, but I couldn't say exactly why. I'm just not attracted to either, for no apparent reason.

G.

I'm the same. I have never read them either. I have seen the films and will maybe get around to reading them for something to do (when I retire one fine day). I may have seen the same thing as you on the author. It was recent and probably some show about the release of her latest book. People were lined up for ages in the book stores here the day it came out. Funny thing is, I remember our local computer store having the same problem with the release of The Sims 2.

When the series started a was a co-manager in a book store. I am an avid reader, but avoided Harry Potter on principle. At some point the store started a Harry Potter Fan Club. No one wanted to host it, I got stuck with it. I read the books. They were good. I got addicted. I am now reading them to my kids as bedtime stories.  Laugh at me all you want, I am a 31 year old mother of 3 and I like Harry Potter. Of course, there is some hope for me, I haven't even bought the 6th one yet (although I will eventually, no doubt about it). Smiley

It seems there is quite an audience that tries their best NOT to read Harry Potter even if they don't know anything about it. I would be one.  Wink

I find painting far more entertaining than writing, as I can talk to others while doing it and not lose completly balance, but NO fun for writing is not right either.

Dying is quite hard I find. No one succesfully died other than those djhfoahdfsa named bots that I used as test subjects for throughly enjoying the different methods of killing.
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: who's playing this game? on: 2005 August 08, 01:26:21
The Sims 2 as quintessentially is it almost like eugenics, the second generation is almost always "superior" to the first. As good as mechanical logic and perfection seems, I find my artistic calling turning more to house building and setting up grand schemes in which some Sims get lucky and others explode into fireballs that are visible from outer space.  Tongue
67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What the...?? on: 2005 August 08, 01:07:26
They're just trying to simify everyone so that they can be haplessly exploited. Quite like sims, really.
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: marriage and last names. on: 2005 August 08, 01:02:24
In Korea where I used to live (That is NORTH Korea where The Sims 2 plays YOU  Roll Eyes) the children almost always take their father's surname, while the bride and groom keep theirs. Rather practical, considering that most of the population are constricted to a small surname pool. (Rather like the Sims, heh.)

I like to keep every family name intact so I decided against the hack.
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is Death truly random? on: 2005 August 08, 00:20:01
Doesn't it got to to totally with the sims' motives?
Otherwise from what I see poisoning will kill if not cured in a certain time period. Lips sealed
70  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Phone Hack v6.8: SHINY EDITION! (07/29/05) on: 2005 July 31, 00:49:36
I tend to put the phone in an isolated room and never answer it at all, it's not overly important anyway.
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: who's playing this game? on: 2005 July 31, 00:29:21
It's obviously a blessing, you get to laugh and make fun of them.
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife: COOL! on: 2005 July 30, 14:04:42
I once had a fire that burned almost the whole house down (If I remember correctly the walls burned down too, but I might be just hallucinating.) , though usually even if it gets out of hand it dies down pretty quick.
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: who's playing this game? on: 2005 July 30, 13:47:45
Geeks know too much for their own good.
In Soviet Russia, knowledge masters geeks!

I used to be good at science but I've given up all hope in it excepts for physics. All that puny activities of molecules and such bores me. I can't judge Biology because I never took it as a course, but I am definitly the Art/Literature type, who just loves to make up phrases like "The epitomal, archetypal perfection of quintessential _______ness."   Wink
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife: COOL! on: 2005 July 30, 13:35:40
Oddysey, I think you are not giving the function part enough credit.  Grin
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: More Hospitality for Visiting Family & Friends? on: 2005 July 30, 12:28:43
Visitors technically are allowed to use showers and other objects, but generally choose not to. Same deal with the food thing: They can, but they won't choose to. And why would they need to? They could go home and get their own food at less time and cost.

When encouraging them it sure is more efficient having them go back to their own home, only to be invited seconds later for more encouraging!
Active of course... and unfortunatly nice too.  Lips sealed

I have never seen visitors prepare meals or take a shower, heh.
