1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Three new sets just added to the Store on: 2009 August 06, 18:11:12
The store thread isn't unlocked yet, but here's the Castle Interior set if anyone wants it  here

ETA:  I ran the above file through Pescado's tool and also fixed the Ultra Teen that someone else uploaded.  It's here
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's in YOUR Downloads? on: 2007 December 29, 02:08:46
If you still want info on this, mine is attached - Pescado hacks only.
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What do you have in your neighbourhood? on: 2007 December 21, 06:06:29
I use this set of community and university buildings I made on a small terrain in one hood.

In others I set up a lot of small homes in one section and the larger homes in another, then in between the two I created a village with a grocer, city hall-type thing, restaurant, shopping center, recreation center, park, graveyard and bowling alley.

In yet another hood I've recreated a little of the London area including Buckingham Palace, Sloane Square-type area, Hyde Park and St. James Park, then a little ways away I set up a row of council houses and then a farming area.  That was fun, but a LOT of work.

Dare I say it?  There's also the InSimenator.  *shrugs*
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Jagged line talk balloon on: 2007 December 17, 07:04:48
This also happens when you delete sims out of the sim bin.  Have you done that?  Something about dangling sim wants and fears (swaf's) I think.
6  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Weird green pool problem on: 2007 December 12, 06:05:36
When I first saw the subject line I thought it was a Spilt Pee problem you were talking about.   Kiss
7  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: More bullshit from Massive Shithead on: 2007 November 28, 02:41:24
Everyone should work retail for one holiday season.  I think there'd be a lot of nicer shoppers in the world after that.

I second that, but would like to add that everyone should work an office job, the kind where you type things and answer the phones. Two weeks should be enough.

Yep, did that for 27 years.  Nine of those 27 years were also spent training people on new software AND (here's where it gets ugly) on customer phone support.  GAH.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: More bullshit from Massive Shithead on: 2007 November 26, 23:24:40
The only messages I have found that corporate ever pays attention to come attached to rockets. Again, this is why countries with mandatory rocket launcher ownership don't have customer service issues. Like the definition of "corporation" goes, "an ingenious device for generating individual profit without individual responsibility". In countries with mandatory rocket launcher ownership, this sense of responsibility can be provided by an angry mob armed with rocket launchers at the gate. Lobby your local politician for MANDATORY ROCKET LAUNCHER OWNERSHIP today...preferrably with a rocket launcher, because that's all they ever listen to.

Hey, Pescado.  How's it feel on the wall there?  Yanno, the wall...as in wallflower...where no one pays attention.  Seriously, how many times did you have to post that?  ROFFFFLY.    Kiss

And MutantBunny, I'll bet you were one of those bitchy people shopping on Black Friday in the store where I work.  You know the kind of bitchy people I mean?  Those that think they're the only people that are important on the face of the earth.  Come on, doesn't that have a familiar feel to it?  Admit it.  I know you wanna.

Sheesh.  Everyone should work retail for one holiday season.  I think there'd be a lot of nicer shoppers in the world after that.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: minor BV fireplace annoyance on: 2007 October 22, 18:04:57
The outside.  I like it for mountain cabins and I try to use only Eaxis made fp's because Carrigon's hack doesn't work on custom.  It may be crap but it's better than sticking a brick fp on a cabin.  That's just...wrong.  Tongue
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: minor BV fireplace annoyance on: 2007 October 22, 07:53:09
I've been having to build part of the foundation under it and that just looks shitty.  I hate this sort of lame-ass tossing together of content.  But I'm not surprised - it's typical Eaxis.

The sad part is that I really like this fireplace and can't use it the way I want.
11  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Recolors of Marvine's Animated Spiral Staircase on: 2007 October 22, 07:47:06
I just wanted to report back - these look wonderful in the game!  Great job.
12  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Recolors of Marvine's Animated Spiral Staircase on: 2007 October 21, 18:54:00
I've basically stopped using any stairs other than Marvine's spirals and now I can use these as well - thanks!  I try to use only Maxis stuff for lots I may want to upload but these are just so much better.  Shame on Eaxis - good on you Amber and Marvine!
13  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: 2 more SC4 Terrains, smaller, flat beach lots on: 2007 October 15, 17:42:46
Only one hood at a time?!?!?!  I've got one for my videos, one for my story, a new one starting to replace my lost Matysims, one for just plain old playing and the three from the base game.  I'm drowning in hoods.  Hell, I'm downloading these too.   Grin

Thanks, SC!
14  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: My second SC4 Terrain for even more flat beach lots on: 2007 October 14, 05:35:16
Terrific, SC!  D/L'd all of 'em.   Grin
15  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Crib for the Economically Disadvantaged on: 2007 October 14, 05:24:26
The Reagan Administration times of course.  Not much different than the Bushes (pl.) Administration times, actually.
16  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Crib for the Economically Disadvantaged on: 2007 October 13, 19:45:59
My son's first crib was a laundry basket.  Nothing's too good for my kid.
17  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Sim can't reach the beach... on: 2007 October 05, 05:15:35
I posted this in the other thread as well:
I'm not necessarily convinced it's the teleport-memory that's causing this.  I have one teen (in a family of 4 teens and 2 adults) who never seems able to get up and down the slope of a maxis house.  He has no teleport ability or memory.  I'll look at him further and report back if anyone seems interested.
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage inconsistently refusing to load! on: 2007 October 05, 05:08:06
Could it be only coincidental that I no longer have the problem of refusing to load once I remove the stuff I've downloaded from the main site (the mustang download is one I remember offhand) ?

20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Borken kids again (floating) on: 2007 October 02, 06:31:38
I made them all go swim in the ocean and it stopped the levitating.
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Borken kids again (floating) on: 2007 October 01, 21:08:47
I get that too.  And is probably the reason I haven't yet added back CBoy's mod.   Grin

ETA: I did make a short story a few minutes ago (well...really short - 1 post) about The Adventures of Captain Floatie.  I figure if you can't beat a bug, join it.   Tongue
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / CBoy mod weirdness with Witch Doctor [was Borken kids again (floating)] on: 2007 October 01, 18:30:50
I didn't post this in "Oops I broke it" cuz *I* didn't borke it.  I think they screwed with the kid code again after it was fixed in the Seasons patch?  Is anyone else getting this?
I have two simkids that seem to float at least one level above everyone else.  It's sorta hard to see cuz it's nighttime in Twikkiiland but I put it into buy mode to get a daylight pic first.

Here, their older brother is looking up at them like "huh?  you come down from there RIGHT NOW!"

And then the kid went to bed up in a tree.  Weird. And stupid.
23  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: MissingChildAnim Fix (Drink Chocolate/Drink Juice) on: 2007 September 20, 01:10:09
It's the BV helicopter ride on one of the tours - a bad tour and the passengers come back with motion sickness.  Or there are other bad things.  Frankly, the tours kinda suck - they're more bad than they are good, IMO.
24  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: MissingChildAnim Fix (Drink Chocolate/Drink Juice) on: 2007 September 19, 17:44:14
aHa!  So there IS child borkenness.  In my post here http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,9668.msg264021.html#msg264021 I attached a log about missing animation when a motion sick child tried to vomit but I was just chalking it up to some random conflict I'd been having in the game.  *shrugs*  Looks like you dumped the error log.  No big deal.
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: BV: Anybody Updating These Abandoned Mods? on: 2007 September 16, 20:07:27
There have been many reports about the room service not working. The bell hop pulls out the food from under the desk and it vanishes into thin air. I have this problem too. It seems to work maybe the first time you arrive in a hotel but then stop working after that. I have used All In One in the past, but I took it out before I installed BV. Room service worked fine at first and now does not and I do not have All in One in my folder. So I am not convinced that All in One is the culprit here. On other boards, that is a lot of discussion about this and I do not believe all of those posters use All in One.

I'm having this problem, although it's intermittent (and I can't seem to nail down the exact steps to recreate it each time).  For the record, I DO NOT have All in One, so I think it's something else as well.  Where, exactly, have you seen this discussed?  I haven't been able to find much (although I admit the BBS scares the crap outta me with all their twaddle, "help me name a pet PLEASE !!ONE11").
