Have you got winrar? You just need to associate one of the files to winrar and you can open it.
It caught me off guard the first time I hit that type of multi part compression too.

ZipGenius is also a good program to unRAR something.

And dammit, I didn't want this SP.  Now I MUST HAVE that makeup and oufit.

That would be orsum, KT, thanks!  I have complete faith in you. Wink  I'll install TS2 on my new lappy and get those, probably in a couple days.  Should I post a link here, or send you a PM?

Has the Second Empire build set, and sweeping staircase, been converted from TS2 Mansion & Garden Stuff?  If not, is there someone here who might do so?

I already have Goggalor's Mansard Roof set, http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,18244.0.html.  But I was hoping to find the rest.

And if they didn't release a patch, everyone would be bitching about the new radio stations not working. Bitch, bitch, bitch. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.

True.  But there's a LOT more fixes they should have included.

Should this topic be moved to the AM Request thread?

I have an unholy hybrid of vanilla/decrapped stuff.  Is there something I can do about all the annoying duplicate thumbnails, besides decrapping and reinstalling the legit items?  Will the Content Patch work if I don't decrap it?

I don't know, I believe most of them are for unreleased objects to be honest. As for other stuff you would have to go through the store patch and pick out what you don't want decrapped, which would be a huge pain in the ass.

Okies.  Well, I'm going to download the patch via the Launcher, and see what happens.

KT, Skadi mentioned I should give you a nudge and see if you can fix the newest issue.  Installing the new 1.47 patch has made the male and female hair from Monty Vista disappear.  I didn't notice until today when I happen to be on TS3 forum and noticed alot of reports on that.  I checked my game, and sure enough they were gone.  Don't know if it's something you can fix, but, worth mentioning to see if you can.  Just whenever you have the time.

Apparently, those aren't the only missing hairs.  Scroll down to crinrict's post:  http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/15/633962.page.

Maybe they fixed the wedding cake? Or maybe I left some testing extras in my fix. I'll look into it.

Awesome, thanks.  Maybe they fixed something in the latest store patch.  I installed that and 1.47 at the same time.
86  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: KT's Store Fixes (updated 01.10.2013) on: 2013 January 11, 01:23:03
I've noticed something strange since the latest patch.  Monte Vista's wedding cake (Happily Ever Frosted) shows up in the catalog the way it should, but next to it is a silver ball with the same name.  I've never had problems using these fixes before, but is it just PEBKAC?

Yet another tiny patch.  Yeesh.

Finally!  A new nursery set is coming to the store tomorrow: http://simsvip.com/2013/01/02/sims-3-store-changing-tables-returning-soon/.  Looks like it has a changing table, and possibly a baby monitor.

There's also a new Al Fresco Street Market, with premium content, to go with it:  http://store.thesims3.com/setsProductDetails.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:59084

@ Rubyelf and dragonheart:  Since you're using decrapped items, it may be better to post your issues in KT's Store Fixes thread.  If he can't fix it, no one can.  (Jeez, am I channeling a cheerleader, or what?  Cheesy)

Is there any way to modify the new greenhouse roof pieces?  As of now, they don't keep rain and snow out; and who knows how long it will take EA to fix it.

I'll take a look at it, maybe there's a box to tick or something to make it snow proof. I think EA suffers from a very bad case of lack of communication, this is just ridiculous.

Thanks, KT.  Some people on the BBS are reporting that even with EA's so-called "fix," their plants are still going into hibernation, too.

While waiting for their fix *cough* we could use this: http://dino.drealm.info/den/denforum/index.php?topic=353.0: We make a normal ceiling and lay down these transparent glass rugs to put on all the ceilings tiles. It will let the daylight passes through, the plants won't go dormant and it won't snow or rain inside. Sure, the snow & rain should cumulate on that indoor glass ceiling but it's still better than nothing. Haven't tried it yet though but it should work.

True.  But it was still really stupid on EA's part, especially when they already had the Seasons coding.
95  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 November 15, 22:37:01
It turns out that the greenhouse venue allows snow inside, which is completely stupid.  Roll Eyes  The store team is supposedly working on it.  From SimGuruCopeland:  "Since this issue came up we've come up with a quick build change that keeps the snow out. We're having some images uploaded now and I'll have a walk through of tips as soon as those images are available."   So I don't know yet if people will have to rebuild the venue themselves, or if a fixed one will be uploaded.

(Edited for stupid typo.)

If I create a new fambly in CAS, the "disableclothingfilter" command works just fine.  But when I'm playing a fambly and use that command, only custom clothing shows up in CAS.

This has been happening for some time now.  So is it a bug, or is it working as intended?

That sounds like the CustomClothingFilterIsDefault option in the config file, which would be working as intended.

Nope.  I have that disabled.

New "Stones Throw Greenhouse Venue" coming this week, with PC items:  http://simsvip.com/2012/11/13/upcoming-premium-content-greenhouse-venue/#more-18144.

Looks like it; SimsVIP says those hairs are from the $60 Simpoint bundle.  http://simsvip.com/2012/10/18/sims-3-store-new-simpoint-bundle-2/

And EA said we were getting HALLOWEEN stuff for buying the bundle.  Roll Eyes

Apparently, the store will be selling the Serenity Retreat venue tomorrow (the 18th).  There will also be a limited-time Simpoint bundle for Halloween.  Link here:  http://simsvip.com/2012/10/17/tomorrows-store-content-sp-bundle-bonus/

And in case no one else has noticed, the Store has removed almost all of the holiday sets.  The official word is that "The seasonal sets are being temporarily vaulted and will return for limited periods of time during the appropriate period."  Assholes.  Angry
