TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sugah's Place Hacked AGAIN!

What I want to know is why WitchBoy keeps coming here bleating about non-Awesome sites getting hacked...when did MATY become Sanctuary? Did I miss the memo that says we Give A Crap? With sites like these you can't even be certain that it IS paysites doing the hacking and not 12s looking for swiss-cheez security to break through for their little hacker site tagging "street cred".
If you get legit info on it being TSR that hacked them, then post it sure...but otherwise it's Someone Else's Problem.

I think my awesome mod needs a boot to the taco. Since installing it, I now can't boot the game up. I use 3booter and FPS limiter, everything is installed in its rightful place and I've cleared all caches but the game will not get past the orange WA loading splash screen without hanging at random intervals. Game previously booted up using 3booter and FPS limiter just fine. I'm not oldversioned, either.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / World of Puddings / Kiki Assgrabbar v3
|

Thanks to CC and better sliders I've been able to tweak the Assgrabber to be moar betterer, so Pescado can stop shouting at me to update. Store Crap required, can be arrquired in the Pudding Factory. Sim uses Tamo's Ultra Plain Faces, so will probably look very different in your game with your own default skins in use. Traits, on top of the default 5 traits of Lucky, Bookworm, Computer Whiz, Schmoozer and Good Sense of Humour use AM to give me Natural Cook, Flirty, Mean Spirited, Perfectionist, Snob and Charismatic. EP traits of Photographer's Eye and Eco-Friendly. For a JERB, give me something in business or journalism and my LTW is to be CEO. The house I always put ASSGRABBAR in is this one here, if you want to keep Assgrabbers in their natural habitats.

EDIT 2: I do sometimes get a 'challenge to ranked sparring match' option... but only when it's grayed out because my Sim is fatigued. If she's not within a hair of getting the tired moodlet, it doesn't show up at all.
testingcheatsenabled, then right-click on the fatigued / tired moodlet to get rid of it - that should let you choose that option?

The zombie curse plotline is underdeveloped! Agger could perish? Does she avoid this? Has she simply not perished? Will the curse come back to get her later? She is still cursed. But can't go anywhere to do anything about it for awhile. So what, have we found now that curses just get put on hold until you return to the other country? That's kinda lame...I want to see people coming back and dropping dead on their doorsteps.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / It Are A Trap - what affects your chances of success?
|
on: 2009 November 24, 01:42:39
|
Okay, I've just encountered my first trap with my test sim and it has fairly screwed my pooch. Its a steam trap, I can't go over it without it setting off and I can't disarm it - I get about 1/3 of the way through the working progress bar then it stops and a popup appears telling me that this was an advanced society and I can't work their technology.
Question is this - which skill (or skills) affect your success rates with disarming traps and has anyone found another influence aside from skills? The sim was Handy / Genius / Adventurous with a couple of levels of mechanical skill which I would have thought would be a perfect combination for being able to disarm traps but still failed.

I am getting so frustrated with this, I've got both of them on DVD but I'm getting this error message even after a fresh install because I couldn't get it to patch. I need to find out which region code matches Australia in order to be able to install WA because the dvd for WA that I bought is Australian, but the DVD for the base game is from Singapore. Theoretically they SHOULD be the same damn region but no, EA likes to fuck people in the ass.
Okay, some help needed here from anyone that has done this on Vista 64-bit (I have home ultimate) - I found in the installer files for my WA DVD that I have a folder called sku7 but I can't find any equivalents in my actual installed base game; I can't find TS3 in my regedit, or an SKU option to change (does anyone know EXACTLY what I should be looking for in regedit?). All the details between the skuversion.txt file on my base game install and my WA install match where they are meant to and I'm patched up to 1.7 so the skuversion.txt file edit that PhantomNeko suggested won't work for this.

The digital download isn't supposed to be available for about another hour, at noon CST.
Oh. I didn't know there was a specific time. I do now. Thanks. If you pre-order a digital download, you get it from 12 AM but if you just want to buy regularly, you need to wait till 12 PM. Pre-ordered digital always gets the jump on everyone else.

I love the shoes. I have a pair just like them IRL that I love. Red is TOTES in for fall.
I was eyeballing some red flats just like those this morning when I was buying my MiniMitten school slippers. My old go-to flats for jeans have cacked. Life imitates art.... I bought a gorgeous vinyl zig-zag stitched pair of candy pink flats when I was in the US at Dillards and I'll be devastated when they crap it...my $40 beauties which is quite cheap by Australian pricing standards for shoes like that.

Use the FPS limiter that is available in the awesomeware section - see if that improves things for you. It is a graphics card issue, and the FPS limiter prevents your graphics card from going overboard on TS3 while still keeping your graphics as good as they can be for your card.
