Taxes. Tax those simmies into the ground. It's so funny looking at Tobias Outlaw, who has had to sell basically everything but his stove, fridge, a counter, couch, shower, and potty just to afford his bills + mortgage. Tax time is going to be grand, considering that his cousin/girlfriend is moving in and all her money is going to tuition. That, plus a pending mouth to feed and 3k taxes....delicious. The sins of the father blah de blah blah.

see I was doing that too - I was taking $50 a day out of my sims' funds for a mortgage before I installed ikea stuff, but once I installed that I found that the familyfunds cheat stopped working so now I've gotta mess around with insim and I just can't be assed to do that all the time.

For me, it's not so disturbing that they pull fishing rods, rakes, etc OUT of their pants, but that they put FISH in there and then EAT THEM.  Especially when the Sim in question is a Romance Sim with a Harem of Lovers LTW and those pants have BEEN PLACES.  Which is why I have a Fish Shop.
Because it's better when the fish is coming out of someone else's pants? I don't know about you, but I'd rather eat fish that came out of my own buttcrack rather than the guy down the street's.

I dunno what's scarier - the idea of eating fish that came from anyone's asscrack, or that I understood your logic completely...LOL. I agree on the businesses though; I make an "NPC" (that is, once I set up the business and stock it with staff, no longer play that playable) business that is like a "walmart" style thing that sells just about everything in the game possible in different sections of the store and end up with an absolute ton of items on move-ins.

since installing the ikea stuff pack, I've noticed a curious bug with my phones - I can't call out at all to other sims, only NPCs (if a sim tries to call another sim they pick up the phone, pick the name of the sim to call, then "jump" back to the standing still infront of the phone as though they had never tried to make a call) with the exception being the headmaster; if I try and call the headmaster, I get a popup of "prank call sim" with all available sims that I know on the list to possibly prank.

hack conflictor says I'm all peachy, I've not DLed anything new since installing ikea stuff and I've updated my directors' cut hacks to the newest possible (as they're all I use).

halp?

There are some flaws in one of the lolpayshit hair meshes. Since I have zero meshing skill points, maybe someone else'll fix it.

*** SNIPPED PIC ***

This thread has gotten too long for me to scan closely, so if this has already been mentioned, whoopsie. Feel free to poke me with sticks.

that's not actually a problem with the hair, it's a problem with your graphics card - are you on a laptop with a chip or a desktop with a crappy graphics chip / card in it? on my laptop with it's little graphics chip that could, the K&BI Stuff female hair with the bandanna wrapped around it looks like someone had sex with a power point when I view it in bodyshop (same problems you're seeing but way more extreme) but when I go into the game itself, it's seamless and how it should be.

buwhaha I'm sure Drea was hoping to come and stomp around and think that the "Maxoid" on her name would hold some weight here. Cockroach, if you're having trouble finding the ceiling lights try just flicking through the "all" category for lights...sometimes EAxis tends to hide them in there because they're either a) too lazy to sort them properly or b) can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground.

thanks for all those that are doing this! it's great to see and I hope MaxoidDrea enjoys the angina - like many I'm looking to be hacking the clothing meshes apart / pillaging the textures to make better maxian clothing from it all but I'm wondering if anyone can confirm before I DL any of it if Jelenedra's suggestion of packaging a sim with the clothing on it post-pets EP has made the separate clothing meshes get packed up too?

for those of us that haven't DLed directly from the EA store we don't have the psuedo-stuff pack location in our EA folders that simpe could potentially reference the gmdcs, gmnds, cres and shpes from or anything like that, so I'm thinking this is possibly the only way we'll be able to get our hands on the meshes to manipulate?
