Four Loko is fucking delicious. Plus, it gets you drunk. Too bad the FDA is a bunch of pansies.

Do you watch EpicMealTime? Those whacky French Canadians made chili with Four Loko in it this week so it seems that Canuckistan may not have banned it yet.

A friend of mine once took Ambien on a business trip and woke up in the middle of the night naked, surrounded by fast food wrappers, and cross-legged on his bed in front of his laptop, which was open to Logitech's driver download page.

The only part of all of that he felt was really strange was that he didn't even own any Logitech peripherals.

/threadjack

HAH. Just last week my manmeat took ambien and he woke up on the couch at 3 am with the booking page for the QM2 cruise ship open. Thank fuck he didn't order anything though.

Now I know with a name as heeeeelariuz as "duncandisorderly" that I may be answering my own question but I MUST ask - ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED? Why are you coming HERE for a PERIPHERALS PROBLEM? If you're having problems programming a PERIPHERAL to interact with TS3, GO TO THE MANUFACTURER.

I'm pleased that you think my name is heeeeelariuz.  However, I suspect that while you were busy laughing at my name you overlooked to read my post properly.  I clearly state that Logitech kindly sent me a generic macro reply suggesting I update my drivers.  As a matter of fact, they also gave me links to so-called help sites I had previously found by myself.

I've lurked on this site for quite a while now and it's quite clear to me that many (but not all) of the members have the skills, experience and maturity to possibly answer this unusual problem.  It would be retarded for me not to post here asking when you consider I have tried practically everything to find a solution.

Thank you for your reply, I hope you see the irony in it in the same way I have.

As someone that has managed an OSS (Online Support Services) team before, I have to mock you for giving up at the first canned reply because that's not email support - it's a process (and a very successfull trimming the fat one at that you've fallen sucker to) to can at LEAST the first reply, if the customer has shown that they haven't completed adequate troubleshooting before contact. Most customers tend to be retarded enough not to perform even the basics before contact, so they don't get much further than the first canned reply because the canned reply will fix their problem. If you don't follow up and tell them their canned reply doesn't do shit, they're going to assume you're one of those muppets that didn't do it. To put it in perspective, a canned response is the email version of IT asking if you've got your PC plugged in, and if you've rebooted it recently.

In future, if you want ACTUAL email support and yes this goes for ANY company you contact via email support, include links of your own in your email to them to show what you've already done before you send them in your "this doesn't werk weeeh" emails. If you put in the work to show that you're not a tard, 99% of the time you'll get the help and it will only include partial canned responses (aka your "thanks for your enquiry" entry and exit lines). I say 99% because every OSS team still has that one lazy fuck that does nothing but can.

People come to MATY asking for hardware suggestions, or to ask if their hardware is capable enough or if it would be responsible for issues they've been experiencing in the game running like ass; note HARDWARE, note the part about their games running like ass. No one ever comes here to ask why their macro mouse or keyboard don't work because they've failed to even consider that TS3 may not have been built with macro peripherals in mind, ala WoW (the game doesn't even support SLI, why would it support macro keys?). If your game is working perfectly in terms of how it is designed to play, there's nothing here anyone can do to help you except to tell you to update your drivers or buy a new mouse.

Also check how big your mods folder is and how much CC you have.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Half of Bridgeport Sims stand around, doing nothing.. on: 2010 December 05, 04:45:06
Same here as EppurSiMouve, I only have awesomemod and no mosiac from anywhere else.  I did notice the night to the Grind swarm it was the venue mentioned in the paper as being the place to go, so maybe that had something to do with it?  As amusing as it is to see the whole down walk zombie style to the Grind over and over, I was tired of it after a day.  The funny part was that once the club closed that first night, one by one people would leave by taxi, only to get home and immediately walk back to The Grind.  As for the lag, it didn't seem any different to me.

Can I suggest using AwesomeConfig then and removing your No-Mosaic? It's redundant to have them both, because you can use the AwesomeConfig page to configure a config file for awesomemod that by default removes the mosaic for you as part of AwesomeMod. No Mosaic has been known in the past to mess with other mods and files and I'm not experiencing any issues using the No Mosaic part of AwesomeMod.

^I'm a SHE. And could you PLEASE spell my name right?

There are two advantages to my system. A- Fewer Packages. (IE, you have more room for stuff of your own.) And the fact that I edit some of the clothing categories so it makes sense. I can't do the 'fewer packages' thing, unless I also do the overwrite thing. I don't care if you use my system or not, but at least realize why its different from what you're now plugging.

Moryrie, I wouldn't waste your breath OR take it personally. Claeric has proved that it has issues both with women and with anything created by others that gets more attention than something it either advocates or has made itself.

For the sake of simplicity (Since the Store Downloads thread is an absolute mess and impossible to navigate for the first 10 pages), here's a link to a demonoid torrent of EVERY STORE UPDATE UP TO NOVEMBER separated by month, in package format. Files are named like this:

Sims 3 Store Update 01 - June 2009.package
Sims 3 Store Update 02 - July 2009.package
Etc

Very simple system, very easy to tell what you have and don't have. Files are NOT in a zip file, so you can download individual files that you need.

http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2441884/16887936/

Download this and Panama Crew's " December2010.package" and you'll have the entire store from start to finish. The torrent does include a file list that implies that gifts and registration items are indeed included.

Or you know, you could just look for Moryrie's posts as she consistently uploads an updated entire set in .package format when new updates come out.

Although I will say Witchypoofs, it would be awesome if Moryrie's posts of her stuff could have its own thread that she can update as she sees fit, given how awesome her megapack is.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 December 04, 02:59:23
How very true Kiki. I went to it's blog. There simply isn't enough brain bleach in the world to make up for what I saw. On the upside I now have plenty of entries for the women's clothing thread when it comes about.

Well considering we started December mid-month instead of at the start of the month, I think you just volunteered to post the new month's Moar Awful theme?
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 December 04, 02:17:39
It seems to be a preemptive self defense mechanism; the only ones that object to Moar Awful tend to be the people that create things worthy of a Moar Awful thread...
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 December 03, 08:28:01
As someone who is useless and has been bagged on by Ambular as offering NOTHING to the community as a whole, I would just like to say, I could do better than this shit.

I thought you enpurpled some things for awesomeland? Or was that Emma doing it for you?
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 December 03, 07:52:18
When I was creating in TS2 I never once had anything of mine end up in a Moar Awful thread, so spare the "those that can't..." whinge for people that may give a damn.
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 December 02, 21:07:33
I'm not sure what is worse - the patterns or the fact that ambular owns them fo real reals.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Store content will not show up at all on: 2010 November 30, 00:13:21
Does anyone else want to marry Sarafina right now?

I don't - we haven't been dating long and I haven't even met her parents yet...
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ridiculous texture banding and smudging after latest patch on: 2010 November 29, 19:47:08
Texture quality is at "3" in the options config, but then I don't remember a textures option in the menu.

I don't like you enough to Google for you, but I know the game taking low quality textures instead of high quality textures was an issue in TS2. I think MTS has the fix for it that you need to enter into your configs.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ridiculous texture banding and smudging after latest patch on: 2010 November 29, 09:53:36
Have you checked actual game settings in config files, not in the settings? Is it possible that you're on LODs / low rendering settings despite what you've set manually?
17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 28, 23:10:43
I think stupid would be another great trait of the racist.

Not necessarily - bigotry =/= stupidity, just ignorance and/or obliviousness. Someone can still be highly intelligent but have prejudices clouding their judgement.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Building Your Own Apartments: Late Night on: 2010 November 28, 18:51:50
Snob would go with the racist trait as well.

Wrong thread retard.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Building Your Own Apartments: Late Night on: 2010 November 28, 09:09:21
I've discovered that basements make awesome apartment bunkers and work perfectly with elevators. I built one tonight for Sim Kiki and hubby and they've been living quite happily underground in their apartment building - the lack of windows don't seem to bother them at all, provided there is enough light and environment to pacify them. If anyone's interested I'll upload.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Outdoor Lighting Tweaks v1.5 on: 2010 November 28, 00:52:37
Is this compatible with Late Night? I don't see why it wouldn't be, but I was wondering if anyone had tried it out.

I'm using it and it seems to be working, but then again it's only lighting and by default I doubt that changes from EP to EP.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 27, 12:01:25
I quite like this for legacies - I think instead of rolling up wants when you have legacy kids, you roll up a personality type and then apply each of the traits that suit that personality. I think it'd make things really interesting to see definitive personality differences between your siblings and heirs.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 November 25, 00:12:17
URGH. Over saturation ahoy. That also looks oversharpened to boot.
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 November 23, 23:17:55
Is the thread only open to patterns?  Because I've seen some pretty godawful Custom Sims on MTS.

The theme for this month is patterns, each month it has a different theme - next month?
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / More Awful Than You: December - Painful Patterns on: 2010 November 23, 11:14:11
Now that there's enough CC floating around for TS3, I think MATY is a viable option again for showcasing the worst the community has to offer. Something that seems particularly shit is the caliber of some of the patterns that are getting made - thanks to programs like the Create A Pattern tool, any old tard can churn them out and some of them are utterly horrific.

To kick it off, I give you pilar39mx from MTS2's garfield patterns. Share the shit, folks:

I have 2000 sim points just sitting there because everyone always seems to have bought everything before I can get to it - is there anything that hasn't been bought yet that I can use those points on?
