1  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2013 November 30, 23:03:29
Is there a reason Awesomemod is sinking/burying the Weather Stone??
This from a fresh game with only AM and no other CC installed...

It happens in all worlds when using AM!  Okay, I realize the Stone isn't the greatest neighborhood item but still...   Undecided

I did search for a solution but I are made of fail.

Edit:  Never Mind...tight pants!  Once you exit & enter the game everything is fine.   Tongue

What is the file name of the casino that was included in the gold edition of Lucky Palms? I've tried searching the download thread using the object name but didn't get any result.

It's called "The Lucky Simoleon Casino" and icantbebothered has two links to it (posts # 508 & 509 on the downloads thread)!

Yes, everything needs to be installed as de-crapped sims3packs. I thought I'd just confirm because I did try a couple other methods. I tried at first with crapified packages, but it didn't work (I expected as much but the lazy in me was hoping for the impossible). I had the spell book and FOY installed as a package file, with the fixes, which I also had to take out. Once everything was in my game with de-crapped sims3packs, it worked perfectly.

Just to add, for those who prefer to only use .package files, I used kissing_toast's fix and replaced the two SpellBook & Fountain Of Youth OBJD files with the ones from the original SB/FOY fix (so they would show up in the Buy catalog) and then merged it with the cauldron, voodoo doll, and crystal ball (non-decrapped .package files) in s3pe!
Using the merged package, all the objects show up in game with animations & moodlets!

Alright peasants! We're short about $40 of what we need to collect a 10% discount on a 6-month term, since at this point my calculations show that we will lose more money holding out for 20% at 1-year than we will by taking the 10% for 6mo, so let's get this rolling.
$40.00...donated!  I was glad I could contribute!

Thank you for these cool sets.
I've searched all throughout the decor section and I cannot find the "Lock and Key Wall Sculpture" and the "Puzzled Wall Sculpture".
It's because they show up under Kids>Miscellaneous instead of under Decor...go figure!  Tongue

Does anyone have the new updates, including patch that came out yesterday (07/07/10)?

Thanks PajamaRick, what region are you and what version did you update from? I need the 2.6.11.005002 from 2.5.12.005002 but am getting file not found on that.

Region 1, updating from 2.5.12.004001!

Odd you're getting the File not found...this link seems to work!?

WA didn't patch for me; does anyone have the skuversion for that?

Simsample,

Try version 2.6.11.00500x for World Adventures!  It downloaded for me, but I haven't attempted to install it yet!

13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Anyone reinstall on new PC? Or have a link to the 1.4 patch? on: 2009 November 10, 22:53:25
Tangie,

You can do a Google search for "Sims 3 patch 1.4" and you'll find plenty of places where you can download the patch!!  Smiley

SimPrograms has several options depending on which game version are using...

Good Luck!

14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesome Mod Crash on: 2009 November 09, 00:37:21
I'm probably going to get sporked for this, but...    Tongue

AwesomeMod requires that your game be updated to the latest version (1.3 or 1.4)!  So I would definitely start there!

If you don't want to download the patch off of the official Sims 3 site...you can do a Google search for "Sims 3 patch 1.4" and you'll get a ton of hits!  Just make sure you get the correct patch version for your game!
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWM causes infinite loop on start screen. on: 2009 August 06, 17:16:22
FWIW...I had a similar problem with the first updated AwesomeMod after patch 1.3!

Running a legit game, fully patched to 1.3, with just the AwesomeMod and an xml tweak (the gymbufffixed package by DilPill)...after the intro video, the game screen went black and would hang!  I still had the little whirling cursor, but the game wouldn't load!

I manually shut down the game, deleted all of the cache files in My Docs/Electronic Arts/Sims 3, installed the updated enablescripterror package from MTS...and the game loaded fine!  I don't know if it was the cache files or the enablescripterror.package or just voodoo, but my game has not crashed/stalled/glitched since!

Legal Copy here!!
Patch installed without any problems.  I did have one problem with the game hanging after the intro movie...but deleting all the cache files and (ironically) installing the updated enablescripterror.package solved it (Voodoo Debugging FTW)!  Cheesy
17  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Art Nouveaulicious Collection on: 2009 January 09, 16:13:35
Telraven,
the ArtNouvau Windows/Doors musst be loaded after AsianFusion Windows/Doors. Make a Subfolders for objects from each Store Collection:
For Example: 1_Store_Deko_Cubic, 2_Store_Spooky, 3_Store_Castle, 4_Store_Asian, 5_Store_ArtNeouvau. There are the Lights Files in Store Objects. Each NLO file overridge file from elder objects. They have the same Instanznumber. The windows/ doors from ArtNouvaucollection have a lightdefinition for Asian- and other storewindows, but asianwindows have not lightdefinitions for Artnouvauwindows.

Thanks Heli,
That worked for me!!

Telraven & Lievemax...I was having the same problem with the windows & doors!  I changed up the folders as per Heli's advice and I can also confirm that all Store object windows/doors do let light thru!  (Deco/Cubic, Spooky, Castle, Asian Fusion, and Art Nouveaulicious).

18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: stupid castle items from sim store on: 2008 November 23, 23:44:41
Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to build the castle. I have tried but can't figure it out??

I've found that you need to use the "moveobjects on" cheat to get everything to work!  Then you can put the wall pieces (and the round tower pieces) together to make a castle.

You can also place a regular wall along the inside of the castle walls; which you'll need to do if you want to have mirrors, pictures, or lighting fixtures hanging from them!

Hope that helps!!

Here are the rest of the hairstyles and clothing.
http://www.4shared.com/file/62103773/ae43768/Remaining_skins.html

Thank you so much for these.  There's only one problem I see.  Everything shows up fine in my game except the pumpkin heads.

Thanks robovanrobyn!

So far, the only items not showing up for me are the Mummy and the Pumpkin Head hairs for any of the ages.  The clothes and other hairs all show up fine!

The Male Frankenstein outfit is the same way!  Different colored skintones in the stitched layers.

Strangely enough...if you choose a lighter/darker skintone...all of them change color!

Lord Darcy, on your LS Deco Slot Mod; since the file has the "z" prefix...can you place it in the Downloads folder, or is it better to put it in the Program Files/(Latest EP)/TSData/Res/Overrides folder?

Just a thought...Have you tried restarting your computer!??

I had a similar problem and it cleared up after a simple restart!
