I was asking for infos, nothing else. Maybe I'm too "sensitive" (in my country, we call it "politeness"), but you have some serious mental disorders: obviously my english is not good enough to be understood, but I never said I was leaving this forum.

"Bye" was only a way to declare finished any other argues. Unfortunately it seems you both are too frustrated for anything else. I won't leave this forum because you say me to do. I don't give a fuck about what you say.
There's a rule which applies in everywhere. When you go somewhere you act according to the rules of the place. On this forum stupidity is punished. People don't put up with your crap. They won't be nice if you fail to do some basic searching and reading. Don't use sarcasm, because that is making you look annoying smart-ass - people don't like that. If you want politeness, accept the fact that you were being a noob and don't ever do that again.

Now topic-related: my ghost hunter sim keeps getting "lost friend" moodlet while performing jobs. No idea if this is the new patch's fault, since I joined the profession after patching.

Part 2 is up, uploading part 3, finish it in some minutes.

Second link is dead.

First impressions on the test version - no critical crashes upon loading my save (with no LN just yet). Changing boobiness and astrological sign worked through editsim. No need for new special commands, it seems. I'll play for a bit and see if anything horrible happens.
54  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 16:43:06
You know why your downloads go slowly? You keep looking at them. Mine always go quickly, even on "slow" torrents, because I just queue them and forget about 'em.
Nope, they're slow because for every person who seeds there are 20 people downloading. At this rate your upload speed needs to be real high to download considerably fast. 3 hours is you looking too often at a torrent's progress, 48 hours of downloading is slow torrent.

I honestly would check out those direct links, but my signal is unstable lately, it keeps breaking up for a couple of seconds from time to time, and that's enough for direct downloads to fail, so I'd probably have too start over indefinitely.
55  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.17/2.12/3.8/4.5/5.2 on: 2010 October 27, 14:48:11
So I was not paranoid about the HELS patch after all. The one linked by Rothchild worked.

Oh yeah, and i still can't fucking fix 0.0.0.0 launcher error. But i only use that for installing Sims3Packs anyway.
If you can't get the game itself to launch it's basegame + latest expansion version mismatch. If not - do you by any chance have CAW installed? Outdated CAW caused Launcher bugs in my game before. You might need to remove it and wait for new release.
56  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 14:10:15
Such impatience with you people. Why bother getting it faster than I can?
Excitement? Curiosity? Addiction?

I personally updated yesterday foolishly thinking you'd get the first test compilation by the next day...
57  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.17/2.12/3.8/4.5/5.2 on: 2010 October 27, 12:37:00
Just an advice: if people ask, maybe is because they simply don't know how to do by themselves. If this make you angry, well dude, just don't join forums, pass by Smiley

I started writing here yesterday, I can easily stop today and find another forum. It's not complicated. Even for you.
Well, this is not the forum for you, clearly.

I can't install the patch to HELS, though I'm pretty sure I'm using the right version. Sorry for being a retard now - is it confirmed anywhere that updating every expansion instead of just latest + basegame is necessary? I mean, since the automatic update system doesn't patch everything and the game works and looks stable anyway.
58  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night Arr on: 2010 October 27, 12:27:22
However, speed is unstable. The shit goes from like 300kb/s to 80kb/s at times -.-
More like 8kb for me (still 3 days until they upgrade my internet to 25MB D: )
I won't be able to do CAW shit :/ EA should be releasing these CAW updates with the expansion, those lazy greedy bastards.
Oh, I thought there was a new CAW released with the patch? You just need to re-download the program.
59  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.17/2.12/3.8/4.5/5.2 on: 2010 October 26, 16:46:19
Curious if it will allow to sculpt downloaded content, too (yes, I'm thinking ice stuff again:D).
60  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Red World on: 2010 September 15, 22:33:55
Both my HELS and FL are arrr'd.  Could they have gotten corrupted somehow by the patches?
If something goes wrong when patching a game, then yes, it could get corrupted (I had such problem with Neverwinter Nights 2, when upon patching half NPCs didn't display in the game, I had to reinstall the game and patch it again). Doubt it has anything to do with the game being arrr'd, since game files on your computer are the same.
61  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Red World on: 2010 September 15, 18:48:35
I'm guessing video card failure.
62  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Does anyone use The Sims 3 with Steam? Is an internal FPS limiter possible? on: 2010 September 15, 14:59:21
Is that *12* I smell?

Actually no. I'm of age. Lame twelvish thing to give your family stuff you no longer need when it's more useful to them (especially if they paid for it to begin with)?
Anyway, that's completely irrelevant to the topic.
63  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Does anyone use The Sims 3 with Steam? Is an internal FPS limiter possible? on: 2010 September 15, 10:13:43
And I was serious about simply using a second computer. Considering that if you've been using computers for longer than about 5 years, you probably HAVE a second computer or two lying around in pieces, why not USE it?
They are being used. One by my sister (and she complains that it's slow and stupid), another one by dad as a file server at work. Nothing is being wasted.
64  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Does anyone use The Sims 3 with Steam? Is an internal FPS limiter possible? on: 2010 September 15, 00:40:05
Just get an entire second computer. That way you can multitask even better, because one computer locking up won't affect the other one at all.

Yes, and you can run processor intensive tasks without considering what the other computers are doing.
Plus, you can have them anywhere in the house and just remote in and out of them, almost the same as alt-tabbing.
Yay sarcasm...
I was serious about two screens. If you feel like you'd seriously use more screen space, that's something to consider. If you can play the sims 3 you probably have a standalone video card that handles two screens without a fuss (takes like 3 minutes to set up if you have a GeForce, haven't had a chance to work with Radeon). So it's a question of whether you have $200 (a used screen is even cheaper) and how much you're unhappy with having to tab out.
Looks like Claeric could enjoy the experience. (also looks like they wouldn't come up with the idea to get an extra screen on their own) Just saying...
65  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Does anyone use The Sims 3 with Steam? Is an internal FPS limiter possible? on: 2010 September 14, 17:12:48
I still think getting a second screen is a more efficient solution. No switching nonsense. Great for multitasking. 22" screens run for less than 200 bucks as far as I remember (and you don't need a powerful screen if it's your secondary). Price worth the comfort of work.
66  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 14, 13:19:51
This is a known bug. Heck, I've had it. It happens when you don't have the free upgrade for Ambitions that was offered at the store/through the Launcher/whatever. See the Store thread in Pudding Factory to get it.

I don't care for this upgrade. But seriously, they screwed up like that? I've had sculptors before that patch and this never popped up. I assumed it must've been EA punishing me for not getting the latest stuff pack.
67  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 13, 18:36:46
Possible bug. My sim has sculpted some "missing objects". They appear as white or glowing red cubes. I don't have FLS installed.
68  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 10, 15:51:44
Anyone noticed a major slowdown after installing FL? I removed it and my game is fine again,
69  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 10, 15:13:35
I've noticed that all the "event" icons on the map have changed to a star, including the adventure icons in WA, but I don't know if that's a bug or a "feature".  Tongue

That's not new. It's been like that since Ambitions came out. They also added a very ugly effect to all location/opportunity etc. icons that show in town view.
70  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Game Update for: 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 10, 12:30:07
Do I have to patch the game and use the test version of AM to avoid getting borked tomorrow?
You'll know tomorrow. Don't freak out. Worst case you'll wait for a day or two for official release of AM for the new patch. You can live without the game for two days, can't you?
71  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 10, 10:46:08
Because sometimes letting it do it's thing fucks shit up. Myself and many others had an odd conflict message after the install of AMB that would not allow the running of the game. Turns out AMB didn't patch every pack and SP.
Damn it, never had problems with it myself. That's the only patch method that didn't ever force me to reinstall the whole game. I don't know where the fault was, but trying to update manual to 4.2 I had to download one update file like 17 times, each time having borked file that wouldn't work (and yes, I downloaded the right region), before I gave up and updated through the launcher:(

it seems that the new patch screwed up caw aswell. Does anyone have the dl link to the newest world tool?
I believe it's still the same link it was before.
72  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Karate Uniforms on: 2010 September 09, 22:38:02
I had the game throw in glasses to martial art outfits on a sim that didn't wear glasses at all. It was weird. There were also some instances of changing hairstyles. It was shortly after WA came out, though, so I suppose AM has fixed those problems long ago.
73  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: New Patch 1.15/2.10/3.6/4.3 on: 2010 September 09, 22:31:33
Doesn't the game update on its own when you install the newest game, anyway? Like it did with all the previous EPs/SPs? Why do you patch before installing Fast Lane?

Last time I updated I had to remove CAW first, wonder if this might be the issue you're having here.
I just hate updating this game, it usually means "reinstall the whole damn thing every f*cking time"...
74  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: CaW for Ambitions? on: 2010 August 03, 18:00:14
Search option failed me, then. I'll take another look.
75  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / CaW for Ambitions? on: 2010 August 03, 17:30:34
I heard rumors of CaW being updated for Ambitions. Apparently you need to re-download the thing. If this is true, could somebody post that new version (for those who don't have a working serial to download from the official website)?
