hope i'm in the right place this time...
my hubby is a truck driver and i am with him all the time and rarely have the time or opportunity to get online; so my question is... i have awesome mod and the config, and no, i'm neither mod, puter or s3 savvy but, i have noticed that roughly every 10 days, i have to go and find a hotspot to redownload awesomemod or i get the flagrant message, so how do i get the full version of awesomemod and what config settings do i use so i can thoroughly enjoy more awesome than me, obviously...kudos Pescado, awesomemod without having to redownload it every 10-14 days? mind you, i am autistic, no joke, really, so please keep the answer simple? thanks so much. strange_character
p.s. i love the no cd option, as my brand new cd no longer plays in my laptop as cd/dvd player is not working anymore...HELP!!! thank you
I call sock.

I wish I liked fish, because it would be a nice source of protein and some healthy kinds of fat. I like fish in an aquarium but not on my plate, though.
You don't know what you're missing. When I was a 6-12 I never really liked the taste of fish. I suppose over the years my taste buds changed and I can enjoy a nice filet of haddock. Shrimp (alone, no cocktail sauce either) is great, too. Salmon steaks with lemon are delicious. When I was a 6 I loved lobster legs. They were probably the only thing I ever ate. Haven't had lobster in a while, though. I don't think I could afford fish due to my budget, unless I got the frozen kind (not fish sticks, but something like "Gorton's" fish filets), but it would be insulting to my taste buds.

Doesn't the Wii have wi-fi built in? Why would you need that? Yep, I was surprised to find out that it did when I configured my internet settings. I didn't have to go and bring my router to my Wii. The wireless connection is more than decent by the way; therefore, you do not need a wireless adapter for it. ETA: I also have the Linksys WRT54G router. The connection fails sometimes for me, just for my PCs for some reason.

I love that freakish alien child, I must make one for when I get my game up and running again. This was from a clothing mesh attempt a couple of months ago: ETA: That was from answering the question "Add additional groups?" in Milkshape, or something like it. Hot dog stand is fubared. Instead of Stevie getting a hot dog, the darn girl gave him that soup from BV. Okay, it's just a glitch here, she saw LL30's Phinnius and then the fire occurred: Oh and this video: And this video:

Sims2Artists seem to have what you're looking for (go to the bottom of the page) Ohh, well if the site has HugeLunatic's name on the bottom of it ("Design by HugeLunatic"), then I know it has to be good. The texture mapping on the island is really messed. If the texture isn't pixelated then drawn on doors are wrapped round the side of the cabinet, very unattractive.
Are you talking about the original counter? I actually like the design for my cheapy sims...

Anyone remember there being a cheap island before either the BV/FT/AL L&P? I was playtesting a hack free AL game using the anygamestarter, and unfortunately the cheap island is missing. I had thought before playtesting my game that it'd been a GUID conflict with some hack/object, and it appears to me that it is no conflict. So, that concludes that EAxis broke something, and I wanted to put those islands to good use, darnit EAxis! I suppose I will live, but I know you more awesome people would like to have this information. I wouldn't have ANY idea about what's going on, maybe you awesome people know?

i have a mega-MEGA-MEGA bork in my game that should be looked into immediately. It appears that the firemen have a hard time getting up the spiral stairs in an apartment lot, I wish I had a video to show what I mean, but let me tell you what I have seen and the steps I went through.
1. Sim cooks turkey dinner (will never be doing that in an apartment EVER again) 2. Turkey sets the stove on fire. 3. Sim Panics and then run downstairs, leaving the poor cat and parrot in the apartment. 4. Bird goes crazy, and cats gets stuck in a wierd animation loop 5. Fire department arrives at the apartment 6. Firefighter gets stuck on the first step 7. Enabled debug mode 8. Appears to be an empty animation for the firefighters 9. Had to enable moveObjects and "dormspecifictoolsdisabled" (yes it works during fires) 10. Placed the fireman on the floor the fire was occouring 11. Fireman gets into the apartment and stuck in a wierd animation loop like the cat, and will not move. 12. Forced an error to get rid of the cat and fireman 13. Luckily one of my sims had a cell phone and called the fire department. 14. Didn't want to risk anything so once the fireman arrived I immediately moved him upto the 2nd floor. 15. The fire appeared to be out after that, but the fire itself was physically there. 16. Had to go through a fiasco of moving stuff where the fire is, so that when i use the stuck object remover it would remove stuff. 17. Placed stuck object removers around the fire. 18. Nothing happened. 19. Had to exit to the neighborhood without saving. 20. Was pissed.
That's basically one of the megaborks I found, and nothing seems to be causing conflicts in my game under the HCDU. *shrugs
Plus, I had NO downloads when I reinstalled all of the EPs after my computer crash. So you couldn't say it was an old hack.

toy wants for pleasure sims are normal.
I never knew the lemonade stand was considered a toy. I never said that the lemonade stand was a toy. I should have said, that the lemonade stand was in the toys section, but it does not have the fulfillment of the "get a toy" want. Otherwise, the lemonade stand should be in a completely different section. That being said, I still hope that my apartment lot doesn't reset again. I am still wondering if anyone else's lots have reset on their own... *cough cough cough*

toy wants for pleasure sims are normal.
I had no idea of this, I mean, what would a grown sim want with toys that they can not even use, because they're marked for toddlers/children; although, pleasure sims are supposed to be big kids anyhow. *shrugs* The only usuable toys that they can use, though are the lemonade stand and teddy bear. Ugh, EAxis has no logic at all. Well, I suppose I could buy a teddy bear and put it on the tv or someplace they would shut up about. Now all I have to check out are the reasons why the whole lot resets itself, and the issue where the lemonade stand doesn't satisfy the toy want.

This makes me go "huh?" Do adults normally want toys? Forgot to add that his secondary aspiration is pleasure. Lemonade stands don't satisfy the want at all. Click for a more detailed view Also, what's with apartments resetting themselves? I usually save around 2AM (bad idea) and so I have to NOW save when everybody is up, which is hard because the parents work at night. Very borky.
