You should be able to choose Dormitory when you change lot type.

I really like the look of Grey Meadow.  Is there a ARRR-friendly download option?

I saw this one awhile ago and downloaded it, but never got around to trying it out. Grey Meadow Island

I haven't played 2 in awhile, but I do still have copies of the store stuff.  Spooky Collection

Maybe you should test your scroll wheel, wheels, and back up about 6 posts.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Reinstall after OS was reset on: 2010 September 17, 15:53:50
Re-installation and patching of all Sims3 EPs and SP (no Fast Lane, yet) takes about an hour.  Less if you're not doing laundry at the same time.

I do believe that Tarlia's are clean, but not empty.

11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Converting skins into defaults without Bodyshop on: 2010 May 29, 16:29:48

Good to know.  Sounds like it takes less time than re-binning and re-linking hair files to my preference so I'll have to give it a try sometime.
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Converting skins into defaults without Bodyshop on: 2010 May 29, 05:09:33

Good luck and if you get a time parameter of less than an hour, for each skin start to finish, I may consider trying it for myself.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Converting skins into defaults without Bodyshop on: 2010 May 29, 03:49:05
I had always planned to try this myself, but never quite had the time to do so.  I do remember seeing HP's Mixed Method to create smaller files.   She doesn't mention using Body Shop as an absolute necessity, but if this isn't exactly what you need check the comments for other ideas.

Late, I know.  I actually finished this one so I'll post just to share.

I decided make a home for a couple of grandparent type people with the essential cat.

Slideshow.

Download if you wish.  All EP/SP.

The link to Emma's 4shared is still working.  The list thread.

Did you ,with any hope, not empty your recycle bin recently?  I usually zip whatever folder I'm going to change before I change it.
18  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: List of Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. on: 2009 June 17, 16:34:19

Something simple to try first.  Delete the Sims 2 folder in My Documents, then start your game.  Who shows up that you don't want?  Did you replace templates in Program Files with Empty or Cleaned and Fixed?
19  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2009 June 09, 16:39:12

I do remember that Pleasantview DNA is "good"as is.  Does Goopy know anyone in the base hoods to begin with?  I don't remember and I'm using empty templates at the moment so it wouldn't be a quick check for me.

Clean and Fixed Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville should be the same as Emma's.

"The three original Maxis neighborhoods (Pleasantview, Veronaville, and Strangetown) come with all the Maxis playable sims plus any townies and NPCs that those sims know. No other townies and NPCs are included. The DNA, memories, and other problems have been fixed.
There is also a PleasantviewTownies.rar file, which will let you add the townies back in, in case you'd miss Benjamin Longnose and the rest of the gang.  You're on your own for installing these, but it's pretty easy. The location to start in is C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods"

If you just want the DNA corrected for N002 and N003, the files in this thread are still good.

Geneticizing hair and eyes was easier with Wardrobe Wrangler last time I did some.

20  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2009 June 06, 04:39:44

I must not understand what you are looking for.  Emma's 4shared link still works and the cleaned and fixed base game hoods are there.

23  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Sims2Pack Clean Installer not working with M&G? on: 2009 April 07, 17:19:48

I do not see the chef outfits in CAS, and I haven't been playing the game enough, lately, to remember if I've seen them in use or not.
24  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Sims2Pack Clean Installer not working with M&G? on: 2009 April 06, 17:20:13
The same thing happened for me awhile ago.  Nothing would install correctly so I deleted it.  I reinstalled recently and for now it works. (hoping I didn't just jinx myself)

edit:  I have all EP/SP also.
