I wonder how many people were experiencing the problems they claim to be fixing, because I know I hadn't seen any of them.
I did have an issue with a sim that couldn't propose marriage, though I hadn't attempted to troubleshoot the issue (one of the sims dying the next day didn't help).

I'm really enjoying the weather. I didn't realize how much I missed it. Wish there was a bit more of a gradual change; ponds freezing the first day of fall seems a bit on the fast side. I really wish EA had considered making witch spells interact with sim temperatures better; one sim with magical icicles hanging from his nose and heating up at the same time makes no sense. Also, aliens. I've missed them too.
Don't know yet if this will rank as highly as Sims 2 Seasons for me, but it's off to a good start.

I'm not sure how to do that; if it is the "Who Am I?" interaction, this is what the alien shows when he is in-world: I don't know how to do anything similar to a sim that is only accessible via relationship panel. In the relationships panel, the alien has the same greyed out look that sims from Foreignia do and when I invited him over to get his stats, he appeared at the ass-end of the map, same place adult sims do when a "free vacation" goes haywire.

It takes about an in-game day or two for the system go to into effect, so if you're loading up and immediately testing, the aliens haven't received their ship yet.
I have played one save about 3 sim days hoping for my aliens to get their UFOs, but it appears they haven't. I even tried using debug interactions to force an alien visitation, bought the alien a UFO and put it into his inventory, which he promptly used to leave the lot...and the aliens still have no UFOs in their inventories. Edit: To clarify, the alien that I bought the UFO looks to have lost it somehow in the intervening days.

Did you have the Sims 3 documents folder open on the desktop when you were trying to save? Not sure that would have allowed for a new time-stamp on a save without new information being created, but it does occasionally cause errors with saves loading. Stands to reason it might cause errors in saves saving.

I have always thought the TS3 sims looked much more realistic than the plastic Barbie TS2 dolls. It is one of the main reasons I would never go back to TS2, in addition to the fact the sims don't age independently. TS3 sims have defaults now which enable people to get that plastic or realistic look and feel, depending on taste.
Vanilla, Sims 2 has better options for sculpting faces, but Sims 3 has the option for slider mods. Seems that there isn't much to be done about how smooth and uninteresting Sims 3 foreheads will always be, which is disappointing, but slider mods blow Sims 2 options out of the water.

I was prepared to say no, but...I just got into one of them after successfully starting a new game, playing for a few minutes, saving it, and trying to load one of the other saves that previously refused to load.
Don't know if voodoo is the right word for that, but it sure feels like it.

After having patched from 1.33 to 1.36, most of my saves report a serious error occurring when I try to load them. All of them worked previously, and some of the saves that are no longer working are saves that I have downloaded from elsewhere. I've tried loading them with AM, without, with mods, without, doesn't seem to matter. This is an instance of an error that Error Trap catches in some of them: Name: Dean Jarvis Age: YoungAdult Gender: Male SimDescriptionId: 15700393047245694032 LotHomeId: 0 HomeWorld: UserCreated Proper Genealogy Species: Human Household: NpcHousehold Role: Proprietor Occult: None

I recall a few times having a married couple refuse to cuddle on a bed because one had a very low mood. It didn't happen often though--might have been a specific moodlet driving the other away.

Nice necro. This thread is nearly a year old. Anyhow, is there some reason why you are using s3rc and not decrapify (which is also in the s3rc-win.rar)? Decrapify.exe is a hand-holding program for people too stupid to use s3rc from the command line. There isn't any reason for a script to use it.

If you mean NRaas' Woohooer, it does not require Awesomemod in any way and has no consequences if the actions are enabled by itself. Using the Woohooer together with Awesomemod leaves the consequences fully intact should anyone choose to enable the options in the Woohooer. That sounds right to me.
Leaving them to crash the game if Awesomemod is installed sounds right, too, but I can just imagine how much more complaining there would be in that case. Ruining Sim's lives and making permanent changes to a player's game who chooses to enable such skeevy features with other mods seems like a pretty pro-active anti-pedo feature, actually.

Shower in a Can no longer grants the Soaked moodlet. Neither does intentionally soaking a Sim in a dive well for that matter. That's mighty peculiar, since nothing was changed there in ages. Is your sim dressed in swimwear parts or something? The swimwear category doesn't give this moodlet. No, they are in regular clothes. I checked with nothing but Awesome loaded to be sure it wasn't tight pants, and, barring save weirdness, that wasn't the case.

I've got a singer going and he's only wished to SimPort or host about five times. It didn't seem excessive, though it would be nice if he only wished for things that would be possible (I don't and never have played online). It's like the Sims who wished for hot tubs when I didn't have LN.

Crap. There's no incremental from 1.32 and the Superpatch is fucked.
In this case, the 1.33 patch shows up for me on the Launcher, but not on MTS Patch Downloader. It's 950 MB, which seems awfully big for such vaguely-worded patch notes. TickleOnTheTum beat me to it. Yeah, the 1.3x SuperPatchers are fucked. The superpatcher doesn't screw up default replacement skins nor add werewolf sliders if you start from 1.29 superpatch, 1.31 incremental, 1.32 incremental. Hell of a lot to download to go from 1.32 to 1.33, but I was not ready to do an uninstall-reinstall right now. Far rather preferred to submit my game to SCIENCE. Well that's your decision isn't it. It is, and I posted here to say that it worked without screwing up my game, so if someone chooses that route, they won't be screwing up their game either. Uninstall-reinstall or superpatch from 1.31 or 1.32 incremental patches--the results are the same.

This does work but it's not a very elegant solution since it means you have to add a professional bar and leave the regular juice bar there if you want to be able to order juice from the proprietor. I don't like the solution enough that I've now got a reason to learn how to add that interaction to the proprietors, because it's stupid that venues like that have no snacks. Anyhow, use this if you want until something better is made.
