Stop using cracks, and use either Awesomemod or Twallan's no-cd mod instead.

One nice thing - the motive drain from shitty beds seems to be gone.

The free holiday thing for the adults seems pretty buggy. My sims lost their wants, and the opportunities they had no longer worked. One said "return to the base hood", and the other had the title go blank. In both, the longer text looked like it was the message you get on completion.

I'm getting a problem with the school trips. When I sent a teen on one, the text saying he was on a trip stayed there until he aged up. He went to school as normal the next day, but stopped going to after school activities. If I tried to send him, I got a message saying he needs to go to lessons first.

The ballet shoe things are actually slightly different in the girls' version (they have little bows on them) so it's deliberate. Not a problem, just slightly surprising.
And the opera gloves?

Haven't looked at those, but given that accesories are not selected automatically, so your sim will only wear them if you tell him to, I don't see that this can possibly be an issue.

I've got a couple more weird things, not sure if they've always been there and I've never experienced them or what.
Sometime, if a toddler is upstairs and I tell a parent to pick it up for whatever reason, the parent will go up to the baby, turn around and go downstairs and hang out in the living room while the baby cries at the top of the stairs.  It doesn't happen all the time so I don't think it's some sort of route failure, but I'm dumb about these things.

I've been getting that without generations installed; I think it's something like the kid coming towards the parent, and ending up at the top of the stairs where the parents can't pick them up, so leading to routefail.
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 December 07, 13:08:36
The only bug I have notice so far regards the acting career: my level 8 actor sim could not go to work (the action kept dropping from his queue) even though he could enter the building to quit his job.

I have also had this issue, with both the acting and music careers. For acting it resolved itself, for music it won't; I've tried quitting and rejoining the job, resetting the sim and resetting the world, all without success.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Townie death issue on: 2010 July 31, 20:32:53
I just had a slightly odd error. A random townie died of old age on my doorstep, and I thought nothing of it until I noticed that one of my sims had been mourning for quite a while. It seems that the death had stopped half way through. The ghost was still there, along with the grim reaper, who was standing oddly, with his arms straight and half raised. Doing resetsim on the dead sim, and on the reaper, made them go away, but the spooky smoke stuff  wouldn't go away no matter what I tried.

ETA: I have WA and Ambitions, and I'm running AM and (I think) no other mods.
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Bugs in WA on: 2009 December 01, 14:45:17
For the paintings, the problem only seems to arise if they stop painting part way through. That's why I was only seeing it for medium or large paintings: small paintings are generally completed within one session, so work fine.
11  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Beta Testing 1.7.9/WA 2.2.8 Problems/Questions/Discussion on: 2009 November 25, 21:20:46
JoshuasMama, it seeme to be a purely cosmetic bug. Travelling may fix it, or may not, but it doesn't have any actual effect on gameplay.
12  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Bugs in WA on: 2009 November 23, 18:46:11
Just some of the (mostly minor) bugs I have spotted so far. I have removed all mods, all caches, and all CC apart from Store stuff, so these are almost certainly EAxis screwups.

* Stuff in inventories sometimes switches to different members of the household. This seems to happen when going on holiday, and maybe when coming back, and I think it's only WA stuff that's doing it; I've certainly seen it happen with tents, and with a skeleton key.
* When moving house with the option to take furniture with me, my nectar maker and fortune cookie maker got left behind.
* Wierd glitch when moving stuff out of family inventory: the hand stayed as if it was holding the item after I'd put it down, and wouldn't let me pick anything else up. Clicking into Build mode left me with a duplicate of the item: one in the inventory and one in the house. Edit: clicking "sell all" in the inventory deletes the one in the house, so they are still linked.
* Possibly not a bug, but I seem to have stopped getting interesting missions on adventures. I know there are at least two more dungeons I haven't explored yet, but my sim with a level 2 visa is getting nothing but missions to do stuff like ask people out on dates and catch frogs. Missions were working properly, but seem to have stopped since my original sim died, which is possibly related.
* Completed lifetime wants are sometimes displaying as an empty box, like on a child, rather than the correct icon. This sometimes fixes when travelling, and sometimes doesn't
* When on holiday, icons in the relationship panel and in wants for members of the family who have been left behind are sometimes displaying as a lifestage or two below what they currently are.
* I completed the challenge to grow all plants without actually growing them all, probably due to the change in the number of plants. (I actually quite like this one)
* The metric for number of mixtures tried in winemaking went back to zero a couple of times. Could be linked to the sim in question going on holiday, I didn't test thoroughly. It's not triggered by other members of the family going on holiday.
* My first sim acquired sparkles, like those around the noticeboard thingy, fairly early on, and kept them at least until death.
* Large and medium paintings progress normally until the penultimate stage, then all progress stops and the bars stop filling. Directing a sim to stop and then start again completes the painting instantly.
* Random route failure problems, apparently linked to having a pond with a path round it.

Z and X won't do anything on the cheap camera, because it doesn't have a zoom. C should work though.
14  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Tombs do not reset on: 2009 November 21, 21:51:33
You don't want them to reset, at least not easily - because then if you have to leave half way through, you'd have to go through the whole nonsense again. Resetting with a new person, with a mission, seems about right; it gets the balance between realism, and there being something for future generations to do. After all, in reality there's a lot more to the world than four towns, so you're not going to run out of places to visit.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: World Adventures Hits the Interwebs on: 2009 November 21, 11:07:17
Townies seem to be being slightly more active about finding mates than in base game. I've had at least one sim start as a baby and find their own partner, which I never saw in base game.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: recipe books on: 2009 November 19, 10:38:47
They don't read them because, without awesomemod, those recipes disappear after reading, making random reading a bad thing.
17  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Random rolled Genius/Stupid trait on: 2009 September 28, 15:53:31
I think it's just a graphical glitch. I've occasionally had the symbols show up crossed through when they shouldn't be, for various traits and interactions. It doesn't seem to cause any actual problems.
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Free time- attraction wierdness on: 2008 March 09, 13:56:11
Relationships such as marriage do have a positive effect on attraction - this was stated when attraction was introduced, and I assume it is there so pre-existing couples have at least some chemistry. Which is why I find it so odd that all Maxis couples have 0 or 1 bolts - that's what I get when I deliberately try to make them as incompatible as possible.
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: bringing money home from uni on: 2007 December 02, 14:19:26
If you don't want no20khandouts, buy a load of expensive crap, put it in his inventory, and sell it when you get to the main hood. Otherwise he will indeed end up with only 20k
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Term paper brokenness on: 2007 November 26, 12:28:05
I am having a problem with term papers in Seasons. The Autumn bonus means that they get more credit for it, and also only have to write about 70%, but, if they have already written over 70% at the transition into Autumn, the option disapears from the computer and they get no credit at all. A pretty rare problem, I know, but still annoying.
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The social worker made my sim pregnant! on: 2007 November 26, 12:18:45
I reckon it's much simpler - roof walls don't count as "real" walls, so attics made using them are kind of outside. Similarly, I have had messages saying I can't have ceiling lamps in attics because it's outside.
The snowing through roofs I've had with a Maxis octagonal roof - and the snow layer on top actually hovered above it.
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Unofficial Bank EP on: 2007 February 24, 00:27:35
There are some good ideas there, and the stuff generally works, but the looks and some of the details aren't great. The farm stuff is still better than Simslice though, and much less annoying.
23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: SC4 question on: 2007 February 24, 00:22:12
The money balance in SC4 does seem a bit off - you start off without enough for the basics, and then end up getting more in than you can possibly spend - rather like the Sims, really. I also find large cities tend to end up with high unemployment, but no businesse will move in, even with much-reduced taxes.
I now have SC original running on a BBC emulator, but as it came from a download and therfore without a manual, I have absolutely no idea how to play it. Any tips (such as what the hell the buttons do) would be gratefully received.
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: LTR scores not going up on: 2007 January 09, 13:55:11
I've never knowingly installed a relationship decay hack, and I haven't downloaded any houses recently. I've checked for the more obvious stuff, so I'm assuming it's a random side effect of some other hack.
Chatting online does raise STR scores, but only by a tiny amount - hours of chatting will put it up one or two. Monique's computer makes it worth doing.
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / LTR scores not going up on: 2007 January 08, 16:11:22
Since installing pets, none of my sims' LTR scores have been going up over time. They only rise with interactions, which makes it practically impossible to get none-romantic best friends. Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?
