I like this. Thanks! "Bobby! Did you claim your teacher was elitist again?"
Rohina probably gives her students this kind of report card  Tongue

That definitely makes it sound like it's worth it. Thanks for answering my questions. I'll look around on the internet a bit and see if it's something I think I would be able to do.

Those "assembled computers" are cheaper than name brand computers like Samsung or LG, because OS price is not included. They arrive in a blank state without any OS or spyware installed. It's a nice alternative for people who don't want to pay extra for the redundant OS but are unable to assemble parts themselves.

I'll look out for something along the lines of this when the time comes where I need to buy a new computer. But... is assembling the parts yourself terribly hard?
As I understand, quite a few of the MATYans have built their own boxes. Is it difficult? Can it be done if one has a tech-savvy family member to guide and help?

Comic!
80  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Zombie Apocalypse: BRAIIIIIIINS! on: 2009 February 24, 21:35:18
Are you thinking of Pinstar's Apocalypse Challenge?
Zombies don't really play a big role in it. I believe it can be played completely without zombies, although they do add some atmosphere.

I wasn't even aware it was possible to buy a computer without a pre-installed OS. When I got this computer, I spent half a day getting rid of all the bloat it came with. Why would I need Desktop SMS? If I had known this could be avoided so easily and that it would probably be cheaper...

My first computer had Windows 98. It worked, and the design was nice.

You are trying to feed it to a toddler and not a baby aren't you? Oh yeah, and also, what Tsarina posted Tongue
Aren't you supposed to feed it to toddlers?  Huh

Someone will probably post this sooner or later anyway, so:

Also, do a binary search.

Behold!

I laughed, but suddenly I'm concerned. That '20010' thing, the 12 probably thinks that's the correct way to write it. Horrifying thought.

Think about it, a 12 would have been born in the 90s, 1991-1997, give or take a year depending on month of birth. Their only decade change thus far would have been to 2000. 2001, 2002 ... 2008, 2009, 20010... It must seem perfectly logical, to a 12.

Or perhaps the person who wrote it made a typo. You never know.
*Tsarina feels really weird for defending a BBSer.
86  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Neighbourhood scenarios on: 2009 January 26, 17:05:42
Do you honestly expect MATYians to be assed to do that? We're lazy and pedantic.
87  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Neighbourhood scenarios on: 2009 January 26, 14:36:24
After having looked at the file, I must say that it looks like a lot of fun. I might actually start using RandomStuff.
But I agree with TapThatBooty and Strangel. A little more description would be nice.
88  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More FUBAR Than You January: Gameplay Glitches on: 2009 January 22, 20:46:54

Does this count as a gameplay glitch?
89  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More FUBAR Than You December (New) on: 2009 January 09, 17:07:43
You tell us.
Starlady mentioned it, starlady starts new thread Tongue

Hey, kiki, do you use default replacement skins? 'Cause I'd really like to know where you got the one in the picture Smiley
91  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decorative RetarDOH Cards on: 2009 January 06, 20:48:39
Dunno.
*Tsarina goes to phorum to check for drama.
92  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decorative RetarDOH Cards on: 2009 January 06, 20:44:32
Well, he said he'd mod the PMBD Baby Grill, so perhaps he could be talked into this...
93  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decorative RetarDOH Cards on: 2009 January 06, 17:57:49
jesslla, these are great! Thanks!

they'd be even moar betterer if you could find someone to animate them with the same animations as the "do crossword" so that MATYans really can play retardoh for logic points.

DO WANT. Nao.
94  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More FUBAR Than You December (New) on: 2008 December 29, 14:16:55
Why is the demon baby's head eating SimFaafy's arm? O:
95  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 L&P on: 2008 December 28, 19:52:31
That looks A LOT like the Playstation 2 version of TS2. GameSpy may have filed it wrong.

Edit: A friend who plays the game mainly on PS2 just confirmed that that version of the game does, indeed, look like that.
96  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Simpose 2? on: 2008 December 26, 21:16:00
Don't know why. With so many pose hacks, it seems like too much trouble.

I suppose the freedom that comes with not being limited to premade poses is nice. Also, if you're not very good at frankensimming different pictures together, I imagine it would be useful.
97  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Simpose 2? on: 2008 December 26, 21:04:08
The photo-editing and frankensimming people still use it, I believe. Liek dis.
98  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's on YOUR Wish List? on: 2008 December 25, 16:58:08
Simius, even though it isn't exactly what you need, perhaps you can use some of the weapons from Simwardrobe to kill zombies with until you find what you are looking for?
99  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More FUBAR Than You December (New) on: 2008 December 21, 23:27:05
The sim's face is much weirder than the glitch  :O
Also, scary Russian? Huh?
100  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! November: Build Mode Abominations on: 2008 December 03, 21:16:20
Wouldn't already having it in your game be the only way to tell that the clothing was in the wrong category anyway? Creators usually don't point it out in their propaganda.
But you are probably right. Doing screenshots and stuff would be too much trouble.
