26  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2007 April 18, 22:24:59
I swear someone from Maxis EA must lurk around here and see when the awesome ones fix one of their mistakes, then figure out a way to bornk it (instead of doing it right the first time).  Roll Eyes
27  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TUTORIAL: Merging the Maxis neighborhoods. on: 2007 March 18, 21:10:01
Sara,

First, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the templates and tutorials you've done on merging the neighborhoods  Grin.  I've decided that I'm much better at downloading then modding, so...let me take this moment to get down on my knees and ask you to Please, Please, Please create a merged cleaned up Pleasantview which includes Riverblossom.  I'm not in any hurry - I just wanted you to know that there is still someone out here who needs your cleaned up neighborhoods.  Smiley

Thanks for listening  Wink

I was having the same type of problem and it turned out to be one of Jordi's costume hiders - I think it was the christmas one.  I just removed it and everything's working fine now.

Damn...I was just going to post all 1 million Squinge mods here!  You took all the fun out of it.  Wink Grin
30  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: stuff that need fixes (or is there already a fix?) on: 2007 February 05, 15:12:35
The only time I've been able to get a sim to do yoga on a coffee table was when I had a pregnant sim yoga throughout her pregnancy (she didn't have to go to the bathroom, etc. as much).  It took a looong time before it worked though.

HAH~I can beat all of you!  I'm STILL WAITING for OMGPETZ from the EA Store which I preordered in August.
I went to their customer service site and asked when it would ship, and they answered with some BS about not being able to cancel the order at this time (which I didn't even ask to do).
I went and bought it from Target and will refuse the shipment when/if it arrives!  Grrrrrrr! Angry
Won't be ordering from them again!

32  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Automatic daily changing of clothes on: 2006 September 30, 14:33:59
I have Fat D's Clothes Controller from MTS2 which enables you to choose what type of clothes a sim automatically changes in to wherever the controller is placed.

Its a step closer to what you're asking for.
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Meshes Showing Up As Outfits on: 2006 September 21, 21:51:08
Thank God!  I thought I was losing my mind.  I didn't remember downloading any white outfits (duh), but I was afraid to delete it. Roll Eyes

You really need to get in touch with Superfly at MTS2.  He has a great tutorial and is very helpful with answers to questions.

Good luck
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Brief intro and a hack request on: 2006 September 15, 03:17:46
There are a few object hacks on Sims Wardrobe that you might like.  One to take care of your garbage problem is located in the Objects-Home Life Improvements-Home Incinerator.  Its kind of ugly, but I noticed that my sims aren't taking out the garbage constantly.  I hope this isn't a non-awesome hack.  I really like it.
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Autonomous career selection on: 2006 September 11, 23:50:19
What about interests being a factor?  I admit that most of my sims are Celebrity Chefs, but I too have quite a few custom careers and am actually working on creating my first career.  The idea intrigues me. Undecided
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Elder Slouch on: 2006 August 12, 21:22:36
I use Motoki's clothing hacks located here
http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,1243.0.html

Make sure you download the "Hide Elder Clothing" along with the correct "Make Elder Clothing Buyable".  I believe Motoki is the only modder that has delved into this.

Hope this helps.  Wink Gail
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Does anyone have a guide on replacing NPC outfits with SimPE? on: 2006 July 30, 02:07:48
I know Windkeeper has done this for regular clothing, and she has a tutorial at TSR, but I'm not sure about the NPC part of it. You could try to PM her at MTS2.

39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I've a challenging request on: 2006 June 21, 23:38:01
I downloaded a hack at Sims2Workshop by Wintermuteai1 that has 9 poisons in it that you can put out for the unsuspecting to drink and dye a dramatic death.
Each posion is the color of the ghost and he animated each of the deaths differently.  I enjoy using it on the townies I hate.
It's most likely an unawsome hack, but I don't use it very often, and I'm terrified of the cow plant.

40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Several Suggestions For a Better Experience (BBS Post to Maxis) on: 2006 June 04, 14:07:16
Very well said Blue.  I avoid Body Shop like the plague. Its too small and dark, and I can't see the small changes I'm only able to make in there.

Thanks for putting into words what most of us have been feeling for quite a while.   Wink
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do I get rid of unwanted Townies w/o regenerating them? on: 2006 April 24, 21:01:04
Thanks for your answers! I appreciate it.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / How do I get rid of unwanted Townies w/o regenerating them? on: 2006 April 24, 20:44:20
Hi! I read a previous post on how to create new townies and put them into the game.  So I created 20 new townies to put in Pleasantview and then proceeded to kill off the original townies that I hate.  When I checked SimPE, all of the townies I had killed, were there again.  Did I do something wrong?

How can I get rid of Goopy and some of the other hated ones without having them regenerate?  There must be an evil MATY method I'm not aware of.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help,
Gail  Wink

Thanks Motoki and everyone involved! Now I think I'll be able to do this myself!

44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Alright, 'fess up! on: 2006 April 13, 01:01:20
Wow!  I don't feel so alone now.

I have 1.84 gig with 7,890 files - quite a few of them are hacks and hair files.  If I ever figure out how to bin my hair, I could probably lose a gig.   Wink
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Who's got some good names for Servos? on: 2006 March 31, 01:16:22
So far I've used Jeeves, Mr French, Hazel and Aunt Bea.  There's still Benson and I could use some from old movies too. Wink
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Need "See entire Neighborhood hack" on: 2006 March 29, 03:18:19
The Gunmod camera setting works for OFB.  He gives you 3 versions, plus a copy of the original camera files if you need them.  Make sure you read all of the instructions for it - I use version A.

This is the link: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=97642&highlight=gunmod

Its a great mod.  I can't run the game without it.

Hope this helps!

...I don't have the expansion pack yet (even though I preordered weeks ago  Roll Eyes )...

You pre-ordered from Amazon.com too?  Tongue

Yeah, me too!  I think I fall into the "moron" mode now.  The only good thing may be that the modders will get the hacks ready before I even install the game. Undecided
