And none of that wimpy waterboarding crap. Real torture for real lulz.

Did they play "Wild Thing"?

Yes. Oddly appropriate, innit?
28  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Spore is Review-Bombed, All Thanks to SecuROM on: 2008 September 09, 10:25:05
Who is this kaitco person? If DRM/SuckuRom comes with the game, it is part of the game. Therefore the game sucks. Get rid of the crap and then you can honestly review it on its own merits.
29  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Lest we forget: SPORE on: 2008 September 08, 00:05:27
SPORE "documentary" (about future Ice Age and Spore beasts like "spinx" mole-quails, giant bat monsters, "grassland rattleback" armored armadillo-snake-rodents, "carakilla" egg laying carnivore birds, "snow stalker" polar bear-otter-hyenas, "shagrats" sheep-rat-cow-buffalos, and "bobbakurry" primates)  / "making of" program on Animal Planet cable channel *right now.*

If this is pertinent to your interests, be on the lookout for repeat showings (none listed on MSN's TV Schedule guide, though).

ETA:
The Future Is Wild (& The Making of SPORE)
SUN 9/07 3:00pm EST, ANIMAL 55, 120 mins
Description: Time-traveling millions of years into the future to discover bizarre creatures.

It was on last night on Discovery Channel (?). I mentioned it in #grah and got minimal response. I was underwhelmed by it.

Good lord, mines only at 8.0kB/s... Anyone know how to speed it up a bit?

Yes. Quit watching it.
31  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Lest we forget: SPORE on: 2008 September 03, 20:53:27
There are free file splitters out there, so *anything* can be transferred on a flash drive or memory stick.
32  Serious Business / Spore Discussions / Re: Lest we forget: SPORE on: 2008 September 01, 23:42:27
Spore is at the bottom of my "To Buy" list and not much higher on my "To Arrr" list. When the bugs get fixed, all the crap removed I will consider it.
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: MATY and PMBD design contest! on: 2008 August 18, 21:09:27
Is Trogdor copyrighted?
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You could meet Pescado in a dark alley with a suitcase full of cash, or... on: 2008 August 12, 02:15:27
This is starting to sound like "How to finance a revolution".

Not that that is a bad thing.
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Gnome-Stealing Shenanigans on: 2008 August 10, 16:55:22
Wrong thread, I know, but I crave a David Miscavige garden gnome. Tiny little dude that you wouldn't mind kicking.

Any awesome CC makers care to risk the Scientology legal department going after after you?
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You could meet Pescado in a dark alley with a suitcase full of cash, or... on: 2008 August 10, 16:48:36
A real life MATY Trogdor shirt. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is there a way to get rid of a baby before it's born? on: 2008 August 07, 10:16:12
So I am not the only one that did a spit-take at this threads title?
38  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Application has crashed - over and over on: 2008 July 07, 10:17:20
Does it seem pitiful to anyone other than me that "only had 2-3 crashes" in a day of playing is considered acceptable for an EAxis game?

Fat Stupid Bastard is much too liberal to be our Fat Obstreperous Jerk.
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Flirt = Affair? Wtf? on: 2007 June 08, 02:04:51
That little rant reminds me a lot of this page:
http://www.madcowtouristinfo.com/
(It's not a joke page, it's written by a genuine schizophrenic.)

I do not know if this is more frightening or more sad. This person can think and put together coherent sentences, but they do not give information, only weirdness.
41  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Atavera's Stuff (Check the entire thread) on: 2006 December 26, 21:55:21
Atavera said,
" Lips Sealed  Well I just logged in to send a message to Wes, sorry for any confusion I caused here.  To sum things up the sims community is sort of insane and I'm done with it, moving on to other things.  I simply wanted to delete my account from MTS2(as delphy says, delete all your posts and logout), and on top of that, I don't want my name on a bunch of abandoned downloads that won't be updated or debugged anymore.  Everything that I made belongs to the public.  Anyone can repost, share, destroy, update, etc. anywhere just please don't bug me for silly permissions about it Tongue  Numenor e-mailed me saying that hes going to repost the instrument thing and support it himself, so you can check there sometime if you still need that(although i don't think anyone made anything with that so its mostly just my old guitars with fugly textures Tongue )"

Use the ACR 'hood gender setter to make everyone straight Smiley

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose?
43  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Atavera's Stuff (Check the entire thread) on: 2006 December 07, 00:47:47
As his original posts are gone, would it be out of line to ask for pictures of what his work looks like?
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Floating Simkids on: 2006 November 23, 03:43:51
I tried to age a child to become a teen with Simpe, and that is what happened. They had teen interactions, but still looked like a child. They walked on air or the ground, but always jumped up when interacting with anyone.

In Soviet Russia, game is in YOU!
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CONFESS! How many of you pay for downloads? on: 2006 March 03, 14:14:09
No doubt you'd still need a room the size of a small cathedral to put your computer in!  (If they gave you one in the first place, that is!)

A small cathedral full of silicon chips and my 1200 baud modem will rule the world! Or at least Europe. Does that count anymore?

(edit)
When I am in charge, JMP is gonna be my Minister Of Truth. He seems to have the right stuff...
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CONFESS! How many of you pay for downloads? on: 2006 March 02, 15:38:25
Well, I certainly agree that "donation gift" is a bit of a contradiction in terms.  It can't be a gift if you pay a donation to get it.  I have no problem with "Donation Set" which says what it is, you pay a donation and in return you receive the set - but it isn't a gift, it's a purchase.

I have a much bigger problem with "free" programs which offer to clean up your PC, sort out your junk files etc. etc., and then when you download the "free program" you find it cleans up maybe a couple of files, tells you of 100 or so others, which you can get rid of if you buy the full program.  That is a con!

A "Donation" is not something you pay for something with. A "Donation" is an end unto itself.
You either buy something or you don't.
And holy crap yes about the "free" pc scanners!  Kinda makes me want to join (or start) a jihad against lying thieving capitalist pigs.
The only thing worse is lying thieving commie pigs.
When I am in charge, things are gonna be different...
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: CONFESS! How many of you pay for downloads? on: 2006 March 01, 20:09:29
Who coined the phrase "Donation Gift"? George Orwell?
"Extortion Goods" would seem to be a little more accurate.
Just my 2 cents, keep the change.
