1  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 February 12, 23:56:55
Deleting CC via Body Shop may cause BFBVFS. I recommend following the instructions I gave to SharonSims. I'll also include that dress in the next update.
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Why don't CC wedding cakes work? on: 2009 February 11, 23:13:10
I haven't dealed with these objects. But, as birthday cakes, I believe they are self-referencing objects. Post the error log here and a link to the CC cake, I might be able to help.
3  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 February 07, 18:59:24
I'll include all those.
4  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: The Great CS Bundle - Updated (2009/02/05) on: 2009 February 06, 01:57:00
2009/02/05: Fixed default replacements.

CS floors no longer replace base-game flooring or vice-versa. CS shaman outfit won't replace UNI shaman career outfit. For those that already downloaded the big clothing bundle (52 MB), here are the fixes; shaman outfit fixes (9 MB) or re-download the big bundle from first post.
5  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 February 06, 01:46:22
Which downloads? Most of them are already decostumized. Argon decostumized some items here.
6  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: The Great CS Bundle - Build Mode Added (2009/02/01) on: 2009 February 04, 00:29:29
Thanks DCNBrett. I'll fix it right away.

It's strange how EAxis does things; they included some UNI and BV floors in CS with different Instance/Group number than the ones they had (this means the same floor/wall twice) and they included new floors/walls that replace old ones!

Edit:
I checked the packages, the reason why they are replaced is because some CS floors/walls use the same material name as TS2. I'll fix it this issue soon.
7  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Art Nouveaulicious Collection on: 2009 February 02, 00:46:34
No slots.

Sorry, I'm not going to add more objects.
8  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: The Great CS Bundle on: 2009 February 02, 00:08:08
2009/02/01: CS Build Mode was added.

I just uploaded CS floors, fences, terrain paints and wall coverings (234 items). Download! Be sure to check the post attachments in order to get the collection file.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Um... How Many New NPCs Are There in Happy Holiday Stuff? on: 2009 January 30, 01:25:44
They don't get a "Met Santa" memory but a "Made Best Friends With Santa" memory. Just talk with him, play or something else and he'll soon become your Sim's best friend.

As talysman said, the household doesn't need to be asleep. If the tree is turned on and the cookies are ready he'll come! Also if the cookies are burnt he'll leave a piece of coal instead of the regular rc car/teddy bear. I actually wanted to edit this BHAV in order to include more toys and gift options but I haven't had time t look at it.
10  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: The Great CS Bundle on: 2009 January 30, 00:45:19
The "new" clothing? Are there items in the bundle that had not previously been extracted at all, and the file you mentioned would include just those things? Or do you mean something else?

Yes, it contains the "new" clothing and the career outfits. There are 2 "new" adult female outfits, 1 "new" adult male outfit and 1 "new" elder female outfit that weren't extracted/converted by Havelock or someone else.

You plan to post the other bundles later ; but before posting them, I suggest that the wind turbine should have the same fonctions that the M&G one (and this object should be under "Decoration.../Misc." to match M&G wind turbine location).
And also, check if the changing cabin don't replace the expensive base game one. And, did you plan to include in bundles the big bushes (those of LS2 exist in CS in a bigger size, and are  susceptible to replace LS2 bushes) ? Did you also plan to include the Volcano Cauldron, the barrels, the haverstable trees and all this objects ?

bunch of useless images

Please, don't tell me what to do. You don't need to include the bunch of images either, the reason this CS bundle is still in progress is because I'll include all extractable items. Be patient.

Hey, you forget the survival clothes (looks like the base game clothes, but they are ripped and dirt).
And I hope that you can put here all the CS objects including new ones.

And, one more thing, you can do the same with  Pet stories (clothes, all objects, building stuff, etc) ?

I hate when people open a thread, read the first post, download and inmediately post WITHOUT READING MOAR! As I already said these items were not forgotten, I'm still working on them. Be patient.

All PS items were already extracted by Havelock, Pes, Siupang & me. The only reason I made this is because: A) Devilsrope's extractions are treated as CC and cannot be bundled, B) CS has lots of items, over 100, PS has less than 20, C) Some items have not been extracted yet!, D) It's easy to create your own bundles and compressorize.

ETA 2: For future reference it was the_mystical_one's default pregnant morph for the afbodyshaman that was conflicting. Any change you you would consider adding some pregnancy morphs to the female files so the island women don't have to go around pregnant in normal clothes with no belly? Just a suggestion. Smiley

My bundle contains two Maxis-made pregnant morphs (1 female and 1 male) Wink.

I'm not sure that I followed that.

Possibly at some point I will feel ambitious enough to make my own de-tattooed version of your bundle, since I already have part of the knowledge and can probably learn the rest.

In order for the "new" clothing to show up you need the hair files and the file I mentioned. That's all.

Am I the only one with this problem?

image snipped

Shouldn't that be material and not skin there?

ETA: Found this problem as well:

image snipped

Seems not all content was decustomized.

ETA 2: Any plans on ripping the ship-wrecked clothing? I know it's just maxis stuff with rips and holes but I thought it was kind cool.  Smiley

Remeber all files are needed in order to work! Tongue

Are you sure you removed Havelock's files? That is impossible as I extracted (not decostumized) original Maxis' files; this mean that they either show up under base-game or BV, no CC. Also those swimsuits should only show up under swimwear, Havelock moved them to athletic (CS has no athletic category).

I already extracted all teen (male & female) and adult (male) shipwrecked clothing Wink. I'll post them once the set is complete, some clothes are really nice.

Too bad, it seems like you did not used fixed meshes for clothes. CS clothing meshes are bugged in so many ways. Undecided
Maybe you woult like to replace them with fixed meshes?
BlooM and  exportdry were so kind to fix them on my request (there are two female children meshes I forgot, and many fat morphs are still bugged, too) and Havlock used them for his CS clothing extractions: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,11443.0.html

I read about these, but I have found no bugs nor broken meshes with CS clothing. What do you mean by fixed meshes? They show up well for me and they have complete fat morphs.
13  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: PS Masks & Hat on: 2009 January 28, 23:04:51
UI replacement goes to your Downloads folder, masks too. I cannot help you as you don't give enough information; what EPs do you own?
14  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: The Great CS Bundle on: 2009 January 28, 03:49:54
Important Notes:
All files are required in order to work properly!

This statement is only true for clothing. The 7z file contains three package files with the new hair (ufhairhatnative.package, umhairhatnative.package and umhairhatnativefronds.package), these three are needed in order for all hair to work. As for the "new" clothing, use "aubodynativecareer.package"; this one contains the necessary files for the clothing to show up in the CAS catalog, the mesh and txtures for these clothing are contained inside the three hair file. Good luck!

CS Buy Mode  (Objects)

I'll post these later...

CS Build Mode (Floors, Fences, Terrain Paint & Wall Coverings)

Floors, terrain paint and wall coverings were already made by Xiannah and PaladinSim, but once again they were extracted à la HomeCrafter Plus. Those cannot be bundled! I re-extracted/coverted, bundled and compressorized them! I also included a collection file (See attachments) to easily find and apply the floor/wall coverings.

Content:
  • 5 Fences
  • 18 Terrain Paints
  • 210 Floors & Wall Coverings
  • 1 Collection File (See attachements)

Download:

Installation: (CS_BuildMode_Fences_Floors_TerrainPaint_WallCoverings.package)
Unzip, move to:
"Program Files > EA Games > The Sims 2 Latest EP (or M&G) > TSData > Res > Bins".

Installation: (CS_BuildMode.package)
Unzip, move to:
"(My) Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Collections".

*Due to some CS floors overriding Base-Game ones I removed this file. Fixed file is up.
16  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / The Great CS Bundle - Updated (2009/02/05) on: 2009 January 28, 02:36:59
I've been working on CS conversions/extractions. Objects are almost, Native CAS content and CS Build Mode items are already done!

2009/01/28: CS Native Clothing, Hair & Face Make-Up were added.
2009/02/01: CS Build Mode was added.
2009/02/05: Fixed default replacements.

CS Native Clothing, Hair & Face Make-Up

Here you have all CS native clothing, hair, and face make-up Grin ! I know this were already converted by Havelock, Kabuto and Para. They did a great job but they extracted/coverted these items à la BodyShop. This means Groups are 0xFFFFFFFF, they show up CC star, their textures are not perfect and they cannot be bundled. Mine have original Maxis' filename, Group and Instance, original textures, and they are bundled/compressorized (this means you won't have 460 separate files but 24 23 files, save space!).

What's the difference:
  • Bundled and compressorized!
  • Enabled for young adults.
  • Fixed b0rked shoe sound.
  • No default replacements .
  • Native Hair & Hats!
  • Original Maxis files (Group, Instance, filename & txtures).
  • Show up under BV.
  • Unlocked hidden clothing.

Download:

Important Notes:
All files are required in order to work properly!
Why aren't they all bundled in a single package? Well, my computer cannot do this without throwing up a "System Out Of Memory" error, perhaps your more awesome than mine hardware can bundle them and compress them moar!

17  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Aquariums Create Community Dummies - New Tasty Flavor (2009/01/07) on: 2009 January 21, 00:23:26
It should, as I said the only aquariums that need updating are the ones cloned from Pets Saltwater aquarium. The ones cloned from the BaseGame should work. I can test though as right now I have no Pets EP. Sorry. Does my hack work on a regular non-hotel community lot?

Perhaps the problem is the fact that you are using it in a hotel rather than a comm lot, I'm not sure if hotels are treated as comm lots.
18  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 January 14, 23:07:49
Delete 3IDR and BINX with this Instance and Group number.

I told you, re-read.
19  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: PS Masks & Hat on: 2009 January 14, 23:06:42
Don't worry. I already extracted the male native hats, I'll post them by next week.
20  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 January 14, 01:45:58
I already explained that, re-read.  Roll Eyes If you already knew that, why asked how to identify each 3IDR?
21  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 January 12, 23:43:43
Try deleting 3IDRs and binary index, you can know which 3IDR belongs to which object beacuse they reference their TXMT and property sets.

3IDRs reference the item's mesh, its collection, its property set and its text lists. Clothing & hair usually have two 3IDRs, unless they came from BodyShop (not this case); the first one has the same group and instance as the property set (the one with name: Kurt Outfit, Julie Face, etc) and it references the object's mesh. The second one has the group and instance of the binary index, it references the item's collection and property set.

Example, Kurts Outfit's property set (GZPS) and 3IDR has:

GroupInstance
0xEF83431B0xD15BA3F8

Instance (high) or SubType/Class ID is always 0x0. You can now delete this two, you're missing BINX and another 3IDR. Open each 3IDR and look for the one that references Kurt Outfit property set, you can know this by seeing the Instance and Group number match the one of Kurt's (above). And that'll be:

GroupInstance
0xEF83431B0x315BA3FB

Delete 3IDR and BINX with this Instance and Group number. Now delete the mesh parts (GMND, CRES, SHPE, TXTR, etc) this one is easy. You're done
22  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: PS Masks & Hat on: 2009 January 12, 23:14:42
Wait... Did u mention incomplete masks Huh Cool, maybe we can find some good mesh maker here to complete them!  Smiley

Beak, cat, dog, grey & moon masks have an incomplete mesh! Unlike other masks they lack trim, I guess EAxis couldn't wait to get the money and released the game without completing the masks. The jester masks is totally borked, it's mesh is incomplete and it has no LIFOs!

just a thought is it possible to make the hat an accessory or a BV Jewelry? so the guy can use any hair?

I found this tutorial: post.

Oh lovely! Thx! It never occurs to me there is a new hat! BTW, are there any more new CAS contents from PS? I guess there are no new hairs and outfits. Huh Huh

I guess there is an adut male outfit to match the villian outfit. But I haven't found it, nor played story-mode to see if it really exists.
23  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / PS Masks & Hat on: 2009 January 12, 01:49:27
I finally extracted these masks from Pet Stories! The package includes 9 (female & male adult/elder) masks, 1 villian mask (male adult/elder) and 1 villian hat (male adult/elder). The masks and hat show up under Pets. The hat package requires masks in order to show up properly.

Maks: (female & male adult/elder)

Villian Mask & Hat: (male adult/elder)

Download from Mediafire (includes all masks and villian hat).

PS has more masks (beak, cat, dog, grey, jester & moon) but they are incomplete (lazy EAxis).

UI Replacement: I also extracted the Glasses & Maks UI icon from PS:
24  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 January 10, 19:44:22
Huh That should solve the problem... Try deleting 3IDRs and binary index, you can know which 3IDR belongs to which object beacuse they reference their TXMT and property sets.
25  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Decostumized and Updated Exchange and Other Maxis Stuff - (Updated 2009/01/02) on: 2009 January 10, 01:53:29
You can try to open the package and delete everything that doesn't look related to hair; property sets, face/arch xml, textures, etc.
