Why do you NEED a Vulva mesh?

There are plenty of skintones out there with hand-drawn vulvas you can search for.

Updated for Showtime.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Anach's Sims 3 Mods - Updated 8th December 2011 on: 2012 March 18, 19:15:05
If you are looking to speed up the updating process for all of your mods, I checked four of your mods for compatibility with Showtime. These mods are the ones I installed for Showtime:

Anach_ChildrenTrainSimFix
Anach_InteractionQueueLimit16
Anach_MedicalPanicChildFix
Anach_WashHandsChance

The above mods do not need updating for Showtime.

The only mods I didn't put into my Mods folder are:

Anach_CASSkins6x4 (There is supposed to be a new component in CAS that should have added more colors to the skintones, but I haven't seen that yet.)
Anach_NoIntro (This one probably needs updating, but it is safer to wait for further clarification first than to blow up Showtime.)
Anach_NoQToQuit (This one probably don't need updating, but with the way EA programs Sims 3 these days, it is wise to wait for clarification first.)

There is no need to convert the body hair for females. Twallan made that feature available in one of his mods called Master Controller. Check it out for yourself.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: For testing - morphing penis (NWS) script added on: 2011 October 24, 02:01:40
My my. Are you that desperate to see some genitalia on your Sims?

If you cannot see certain genitalia, then you are doing something wrong! Try reinstalling the mod in the correct location. Try deleting all .cache files. Try reading the first post. There's usually a link in there somewhere pointing you to a file. Also try some therapy while you're at it. And maybe look at a dictionary for some spelling lessons too.
6  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Facial Hair For Women - Sims 3 - Updated Info For Pets on: 2011 October 22, 03:46:50
No new facial hair styles were introduced with Pets, but the mod works fine. If you're having trouble using the mod, then you're doing something wrong.

There's plenty of sites out there with easy (so easy for a child to understand and have their hand held) instructions how to install the mod.
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: For testing - morphing penis (NWS) on: 2011 September 18, 20:00:12
Blah blah blah... One question is this a Mod?
Roger

What makes you think this is not a mod? Of course it is. Otherwise, we wouldn't put this into our Mods folder.

I agree that it is not important to redo the male equipment so it would just look good in CAS if the male equipment looks fine in the game. That's what it counts. You did a very nice job on the mod, and as far as I'm concerned, it's perfect for me to use on my Sims.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: For testing - morphing penis (NWS) on: 2011 September 15, 18:09:58
I checked out the sliders and male equipment in CAS. The mod works very well even with some issues, but that's expected according to Cmar's previous note about its appearance (coloring and lighting) in CAS.

As for the odd requests having the equipment show up on toddlers and children, I think those odd posters should remove their own equipment so they won't produce any spawn with intelligence as low as theirs.

12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: No celebs? on: 2010 December 09, 09:33:51
The Celebrity feature reminded me of the godawful Reputation feature with Sims 2. I am thankful for those creators to come up with mods to curb that feature.

I am wondering if AM can contain several features similar to the job and skill features to determine the following:

1. Completely turn off the celebrity system so no Sim in the neighborhood will be granted Celebrity status.
2. Gain Celebrity status slowly according to the aging scales (Short, Normal, Long or Epic)
3. Allow certain activities to grant Celebrity points or levels that make sense

For example, simply greeting another Sim should not automatically grant a Sim Celebrity status at Level 0 even if the Celebrity Sim doesn't know the person who greeted him or her. Performing activities with a Celebrity Sim such as going out to a club or to a movie should grant some points but not instant levels. I believe Sims should WORK HARDER to gain those levels.

HP released a series of mods with varying points and requirements to allow Sims to gain levels the easy way or the Pescado (ultimately hard) way. But hers conflicted with some of the things I use. I don't mind dropping her mod from my Mods folder in favor for one if AM will include some features to allow us to specify how we want our Sims to gain Celebrity status in their towns.

I am currently playing Sunset Valley where I -know- no Sims were granted Celebrity status because I don't like how the Sims were gaining statuses so quickly in Bridgeport.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Face Template Out Of Order on: 2010 December 06, 13:28:12
Did you patch each EPl before moving on to the next EP? That was how I did the patching with all of my Sims 2 EPs and SPs to make sure that each EP was patched before I moved on to the next one.

I do know that Face Template #1 (Heart face) was supposed to be the very first face template to choose from. Your issue is perplexing.

17  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Facial Hair For Women - Sims 3 Showtime: 3-18-2012 on: 2010 November 29, 12:18:47
March 18th, 2012:

Showtime has one new facial hair style which looked like a thin moustache with a thinner and shorter chinstrap beard as the picture below shows:

NOTES:

Enabled for YA/A/E females and males only. Teens do not have this facial hair style available.
Showtime has a sparkly blue circle with a green plumbob as show in the picture above.
Does not override custom facial hair styles created by other players.
In Soviet Russia, beard runs you!

----------

October 21st, 2011:

Pets did not have any new facial hair styles. But the mod works fine. If you have problems using the mod, then you're doing something wrong!

Once again, in Soviet Russia, beard runs you!

------------------------------

Has the circus skipped your town because there were no bearded ladies to be hired for their 3-ring shows?

Have the men been sporting their handsome beards, slick mustaches or manly stubbles to the envy of those jealous women who wanted those very same beards, mustaches or stubbles for themselves?

Notice these two women sporting their favorite facial styles? Why yes, your Sims will look great as they do with their goatee and beard!

Unleash your bearded ladies upon their unsuspecting towns today with their very own facial hair!

DESCRIPTION:

The mods contain default overrides to enable all of the EA facial styles ranging from thin stubble to thick beard for female Sims. These overrides won't affect the facial styles for male Sims.

They will not affect custom facial hair styles made by other people.

AGES ENABLED:

Female Teen - 3 (Sideburn, soul patch and mustache - same as Male Teen)
Female Young Adult/Adult - all (Same as Male Young Adult/Adult)
Female Elder - all (Same as Male Elder)

None of these facial styles have the custom content icon (white icon with blue folder) so they won't be deleted by accident.

MOD FLAVORS:

Sims 3 - Contains only the Sims 3 beards, stubbles, sideburns, soul patches
World Adventures - Has only 2 facial styles like the long mustache
Late Night - Has only 2 facial styles like the lighter version of the full stubble style
All - Has all of Sims 3, World Adventures and Late Night facial styles in a single mod

** World Adventures has the greenish-yellow circles with a green plumbob. **

** Late Night has the purple circles with a green plumbob. **

NOTE:

These facial hair styles are recolorable as shown in the pictures.

I changed the flags in some of the facial hair styles so they won't be randomly used by female townies. Pregnant women should be able to retain their facial hair.

Be cautioned that some of the facial hair styles aren't enabled by EA default for male elders. So I did not enable those facial hair styles for male and female elders.

Also be cautioned that there are no male elder facial hair styles for Late Night by EA default.

There is a slight glitch with the full beard and thick goatee (long) because the female face is slightly smaller in the jaw and chin area. It is not noticable unless you really zoom in close. You can adjust the female face to fill out to fit the full beard and thick goatee (long).

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 29, 01:51:46
Is it possible to use the Unforgiving trait and have grudges in the game? That seems like a perfect trait for the Jerk or Aristocratic personalities.
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 28, 04:43:18
What would constitute a personality that would use the AM traits such as Racist, Blindness or some other trait?

If I want to create a Sim with a purely customized personality for the sole purpose of playing a family:

Racist:

Racist
MeanSpirited
Hotheaded
?
?

Disabled:

Blindness
Klutz
?
?
?

What exactly is Tealdeer? I have seen this one listed someplace, but I did not understand what it is or what it does exactly. Is this the one that makes a Sim boring to interact with?

As for the hidden traits, they should not be given to the Sims but inherited. They were merely listed for the sake of being listed.

The Don Juan personality should have had Commitment Issues instead of Natural Cook, but in order for the Sim to reel in the new fish, the Sim has to be a good cook to feed the fish and then hook the fish with further romantic interactions.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 27, 14:00:24
There are traits that do trigger specific behaviors and interactions. A Kleptomaniac isn't a Kleptomaniac without that trait in order to perform thieving interactions. Ambitious Sims get a positive moodlet from successfully getting promoted or accomplishing something with the Ambitious trait. Neat Sims clean their houses without being prompted to if they have the Neat trait.

Specific traits do define Sims.

When I said "There were a couple of personalities I don't get: Villain and Maniac", I meant that I don't understand why two personalities are identical. I don't understand why EA made two personalities alike. One personality would suffice to contain a set of traits for let's say both career tracks of the Criminal job.

This list of personalities do help us understand what would constitute a personality in a rudimentary way to determine the type of Sims we come across in our games. The game does not have to use these personalities, but they do define the Sim as in how they interact with the world around them.

I would write down the personalities in my Sims' bios so I will know what kind of personality they have been given at birth or at creation (CAS). I use them to play families who could be boring, interesting, extremely chaotic or divinely angelic. I like to think that the family would have to learn to get along with each other despite their different personalities.

Like you said for legacy challenges or families, I would write down their personalities to keep track of in my own notes. I have one couple, a Thrillseeker and a Homemaker, for my town that I like to think of as a founding family. They later had five children, each assigned a different personality with their own ambitions and lifetime wishes. Their first one is a Cyberpunk who spent most nights in the privacy of his bedroom hacking on the computer while his parents slept. Their second child is a Bohemian who likes to paint all day and do nothing else but paint. I envision the family as people with their own unique personalities doing what interest them the most. The Thrillseeker was constantly focusing on body building and getting better promotions to support the large family with her wife who's a Homemaker. She's satisfied staying home to raise the children and enjoying the housework on top of growing a garden outside. This is the kind of imagination I have when I play my families, picturing them with different personalities pursuing their own interests.

This list doesn't mention the hidden traits. So the personalities that were listed are assumed to be stock personalities from which we would understand our Sims and how they interact with the world around them. Let's say if I didn't like the Don Juan personality, I could take out Natural Cook and put something better in its stead to create a variant of the Don Juan personality. But I will know that the Sim is basically a Don Juan (or is it Don Juanita for the female Sim?) to begin with for the sole purpose of knowing who the Sim is when playing the game.

The file did look like something EA planned but later scrapped during the planning stage of Sims 3 and did not clean up the code well enough to remove the remnants of their early plans to use the personalities in the game. But it is still a fun list of personalities and its associated traits!

I heard of the Unforgiving trait, but I can't think of any other trait that replaces the Unforgiving trait. Is that a custom trait in AM by chance, Pescado?

The other traits that weren't listed but were and still are part of AM:

Pedobait
Pedobear
Registered Sex Offender
Stupid (although I think this one was brought back by AM)

Hidden traits that weren't listed but are not part of AM:

Vampire
Immunity to Fire

If you know there's more that weren't mentioned, feel free to add them.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 27, 09:50:48
These personalities still can be used as a reference guide when new Sims are created. I think they can be used for things like Twallan's SP mod that uses personalities to give Sims their unique titles in town like Tart, Biker, Cat, Robin Hood and so on.

The ones that do work were the Bohemian, Thrillseeker and Homemaker personalities. They roll wants that interest them the most. Homemakers (similar to Family in Sims 2) roll wants to cook, clean and have children while Thrillseekers (a mix of both Fortune and Knowledge maybe) roll wants to exercise and buy some expensive things (similar to Fortune in Sims 2). Bohemians (reminds me of Pleasure Sims) roll wants to paint and play guitar.

I currently have a handful of children with Little Princess, Airhead, Cyberpunk and Klutz personalities that I want to check out to see what wants they roll.

There were a couple of personalities I don't get: Villain and Maniac. The only difference between the two is the Kleptomaniac trait, but they both are perfect for the Criminal career tracks as thieves or evil leaders of the world.

The traits that weren't listed are the hidden traits like Vampire for example. If all the traits are unlocked in CAS, then the sky is the limit on having more personalities available than the ones listed here. These seem to be the stock personalities to give townies their own personalities.
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Personalities (Traits and Labels) on: 2010 November 27, 08:58:07
I recently discovered an interesting file when I was looking through the GameplayData file for a file I needed for one of my projects. The file was called Personas. It is a list of personalities with five traits and labels to give Sims their own distinctive personalities. I extracted the information and compiled a list for my own use when I create new Sims or give new traits to my children born in their families.

This list is not like the other two threads in Facts & Strategery that merely listed the traits. This one has personalities made up with five different traits and labels.

My most favorite personalities are Maniac and Villain. My least favorite personality is Don Juan because this personality is nothing like the Romance aspiration for Sims 2. I had a female Don Juan who didn't hit on Sims she met and befriended. I was hoping she would be slutty enough to be used by the town to spawn kids.  Cheesy

Please.. do not request that Vampires be sparkly! God no, I prefer my Vampires to be the way they are. NON SPARKLY! Twilight lovers should run over to BBS or MTS to ask for that.

By the way, what was EA sniffing when they made the Eye Candy reward for Lifetime Happiness? Most useless feature ever.
