Cappuccino,

I've got all the pumpkin heads and mummy wraps that robovanrobyn posted showing up in my game, just not in BodyShop.
I don't have them installed in the store folder either, they're all in the downloads folder with the rest of my downloads.

Um, cheers?

Does that include the toddler Mummy hair too?
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 September 09, 21:43:08
And the ability to place wall items at different heights helps tons.  You have no idea how many windows and paintings cluttered my download folder before, with the only difference being the height of the item.  Now I only need one of each variety, and [ ] with do the rest. Cheesy

Wait, what? Does that work with windows too?
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do you organize your CC? on: 2008 September 09, 08:18:45
^ Is it too late to ask for one too now? Tongue Seriously, given the amount of people interested, you should probably start a thread in Peasantry about it. Either way, I can has, please?
31  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 09, 03:01:03
So, has anyone seen the Mummy Head Wraps for toddlers in their games? That's the only thing not working for me, the file shows that it's only 2,18 kbs so I guess it's corrupted.
32  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 September 08, 21:31:11
^ I'm not sure this will help, but maybe you had Inge's "Is Chair A Booth/ Is Sofa A Sectional?" fix? It has been updated for AL, no idea if it is related with your problem though.
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Formal Clothes for toddlers on: 2008 September 07, 21:27:59
^ The outfit in the picture (not the dress that the toddler actually wears, but the one in the catalog) came with Happy Holiday stuff, it's the outfit worn by the New Year baby/toddler. Then 2 dresses for little girls were added as formalwear in Free Time.
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: AL gameplay questions and help on: 2008 September 05, 22:13:30
I'm pretty sure it's under Misc/Misc, together with the normal trashcans.
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: AL gameplay questions and help on: 2008 September 05, 20:42:02
^ Err... You're doing it wrong.

From what I understood you're placing two of the normal bookcases on each side of the wall? (And when I'm saying normal, yes it does look like the secret door one, but not completely) The bookcase that serves as a secret passageway is a special one that appears on both sides of the wall on its own. It doesn't leave any part of the wallpaper visible above it, it has wooden frames all around (for when it rotates). If you're trying to use that in an apartment, I think it's not available there, there's your problem.

fake edit: Apparently I forgot the adult female mummy outfit in the pictures, while I included twice some female/male hair/outfit that are the same (unisex). I didn't know before this that the toddler/child hair, the toddler/child mummy outfit and the pumpkin heads were the same for both genders, as in they don't need to be downloaded separately for each.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Formal Clothes for toddlers on: 2008 September 05, 00:14:34
*backs slowly away from the scary toddler in drag*

Tell me about it! When I saw that I was like "err... I was making a boy, right?" I guess it all comes down to male and female toddlers being totally similar to each other when it comes to hair-meshes and body-meshes too. If you don't dress them appropriately, you won't be able to tell which gender they are.
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Formal Clothes for toddlers on: 2008 September 04, 23:34:41
This is kinda random, but while I was checking out some hair/clothes in CAS, I noticed this:

There's only one formal outfit for male toddlers (the New Year one) and yet this little boy decides to try on a beautiful dress instead.

Any idea why this is happening? It has something to do with the female toddler clothing, because when I switched this boy to a girl, her chosen formal outfit was the same dress, and when I changed her dress to the pink one and then turned her into a little boy again, he also wore the pink dress too. Are toddlers ever forced into formalwear anyway?
39  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Stove, Careers, and More! - Now with Hot Tub! 08/30/08 on: 2008 September 04, 00:24:13
- I can place the food stand without "moveobjects on" Embarrassed. Maybe it's due to the fact that you need CS bamboo barstool by devilsrope here.

You know what, that's probably it. I do have that barstool but when I was testing this I had no other CS items in the game (had just installed AL). And when I did place it with moveobjects on, there were no barstools (obviously) but there were their shadows on the ground. So anyway, this is probably what was wrong!

- Fixed that Wink. Check first post. In an attempt to update the radio to BV I deleted its TTAs instead of the TTAB.

Great, thanks! Wink

I love the way they made it sound like the fault lies with me.

Typical EAxis. Roll Eyes
41  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 03, 01:19:00
Thanks Richief, a question though, does the Cubic chair show up for you without any problems? It seems to have some missing textures (?) or is it just me?

Baaaaa, either way. Cheesy (I'm just bored while waiting for the washing machine to finish so I can hang the clothes to dry before going to bed and so I lurk here to see if any new objects come up and then I instantly check them in game. I'll check how this is progressing tomorrow!)
42  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 02, 23:48:26
What EPs do you currently have installed? Just wondering to see if my theory is short of the mark.

I have all the EPs and all the stuff packs.

Are you sure you're talking about the Simply Round Column 2 Floor Edition? Cause the smaller one, that's 1 floor high shows-up normally for me too.

Furthermore, the small Column and the Door that brzburns provided turn to 96-byte files after you run and exit the game which means they are corrupted, I remember people getting that when the Store first started, some of their downloads would get corrupted like that and they had to re-download.

Here are the new Spooky objects at The Sims 2 Store - 17 total - I bought all 17 - it wouldn't let me upload the rar file here.  Here's the link http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?g26mgx9csga - I hope they don't update The Sims 2 Store anymore.  Maybe they won't after The Sims 3 is out.

It's confirmed, these all work. The huge door is really cool.

Things that might need fixing:
  • The 2-Floor Column uses the catalog description of the Simply Round Column from OFB.
  • The Gargoylite wall lamp costs only 1 simoleon.
43  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 02, 22:36:33
Sorry, I ran out of money before I could snag the Your Not Welcome Door.

Oh, don't mention it, you got enough already. Smiley

The door and column don't work in Bins either (and I don't have an EA Store folder, I thought the 3rd patch for FreeTime created it?) and I *think* the big column, which does show up, overwrites the Simply Round Column from OFB. (Simply Round Column is gone, and the new one uses its catalog description)

44  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: TS2 Store Stuff on: 2008 September 02, 22:05:56
^ There are 10 files, 8 of the 9 Build Mode stuff (minus the one door) and 2 of the lamps.

I just tried them in the Downloads folder, and the Big Door and the columns don't appear in-game. Gonna try with Bins next.
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 September 02, 20:40:05
Oh, sorry then, I thought you were wondering what that might be.

I won't disagree with you though, it's typical EAxis crap that is bound to be rarely used by any players.
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Apartment Life: Obligatory Hate/Love Topic on: 2008 September 02, 20:24:38
^ That's one from the 3-4 football-fan outfits added in AL. There's no shirt, it's body-spray, and there's matching face-paint too.

I mean - oh cool, I can set my own house on fire!  so what?

Oh, but don't forget, it's EAxis that we're talking about, setting your own house on fire and/or peeing your pants is SO FUN!
49  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: CS Stove, Careers, and More! - Now with Hot Tub! 08/30/08 on: 2008 September 02, 17:17:08
Thanks for these, two issues so far though:

- I could only place the Food Stand down with moveobjects on, is that normal?

- There are no options on the Stereo. I mean you can actually click on it to turn it on but the string is empty, it's just a blue line that pops-up where it should also say "Turn On". And when it's turned on the same thing happens with the other options, except for one (I think it was "Turn Off", not 100% sure)

I have everything up to (and including) AL.

-calling service-NPCs is borked again.  It was broken with FT, then it got fixed, and now it's broken again.

Works for me, maybe it's another outdated mod issue?  Then again, I never use the cellphones to hire a service NPC, I always use the fixed phone.  Are you using a cellphone or a fixed phone to hire service-NPCs?

Kyna, I think they mean the bug where NPCs weren't available to call for socialization, not for hiring. Paladin had a fix for FT, no idea if it works for AL.
