51  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Face Template Replacements (Work in Progress - Pictures) on: 2006 May 29, 19:32:32
I'm also excited for this project. I have a set of template replacements already but they tend to all look the same. These look wonderful. Even with all the same eye color and hair styles and skintones you can still see the differences.

There's plenty of good free hair out there, you know!

*chuckle* I know. That wasn't the point of my lament.

I get terribly annoyed at the frat kids that insist on going around in their togas forever after you pledge the first time.

The hair pictured in the start of this thread is very pretty. Alas, I do not pay for custom content. I suppose that's why my sims all go around sporting Maxis hair. *le sigh*

My vote would be for a cardboard box. *shrugs a little*

ha. I hope so too. I'm so looking forward to this! I've been wanting this since the game was original released!

59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OFB *home* business ideas for the creatively challenged? on: 2006 March 24, 07:05:27
ok. I'm going to risk public humiliation here... but I just started my first attempt at running a home business. My sim set up a little game room with the pool table and poker table. I threw in a few snapdragons and a couple espresso machines and a couple bathrooms. So far it seems to be going pretty well, loyalty stars popping up all over the place. The problem is hardly anyone touches the espresso or uses the bathroom. They just leave with the bathroom desperation thought bubble over their head. I'd think there was something blocking the bathrooms altogether if it wasn't for the very rare occurance when someone actually uses one. So what am I missing? Its probably something simple.

I think my next attempt is going to be a brothal. That story about the local preacher coming to call was rather amusing. Thanks for the ideas.

thank you guys. much appreciated.

being terribly behind the times I'm just now getting around to trying the Bathroom Uses You hack out. If perhaps someone could be so kind as to re-upload/re-post the tp recolors that used to be found here, that would be swell.

I'm just glad it wasn't housecleaning of 'lurkers'. I've been dumped off of more than one forum for that.

thank you.
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Servo sucks as a family member on: 2006 March 08, 05:03:43
so far I haven't determined what is creepier. leaving Servo's appearance as is or using the ClothingTool to make them look like any other Sim... that can power down and be left in a closet until needed....
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anybody tried this stuff with OFB? on: 2006 March 08, 04:37:55
Targas LadderStairs works the same as before OFB.
