I have patched all of them (except Uni), which has worked well for me. I think NL fixed everything the Uni patch offers.

Also, I have been noticing the dance contests at one of my community lots aren't quite right. If my sim picks a solo contest, the others smustle, and vice-versa.

I don't know if this is a bug or just really bad timing, but I had a YA writing a novel (glad to see they don't take as long now), and right as the phone rang he ran off to class. Can't retrieve him obviously. Phone stopped, van showed up with the novel and dropped it off, he got nothing for it. Not a single simolean.  Undecided

 Undecided

I forgot about the wait on Rapidshare.  I never really use it, but I wasn't sure where else to put them.

One of these days I will update the music, but with the addition of custom radio stations in FT, I was thinking of just making a few of those.

I just had the stuck-on-the bus issue. It stopped in front of the mailbox, so they couldn't get out. The bus did not teleport off the lot at 14:00. Then the carpool came for one of the two teens stuck on the bus. Finally, at 14:47, I used moveobjects to move the mailbox over one tile. They got off, and all was well.
Wonder if this is going to be a consistent issue. Maybe the car portal is funky?
81  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: A veritable cornucopia of glitches... on: 2008 March 05, 02:41:43
Might try using the lot debugger to nuke off-world loiterers on your business lot - there may be some shoppers left that aren't really there. If there are ghosts on the lot, sims will try to shoo them until the cows come home, and won't leave the lot until the ghosts are at rest.

For the other one, try deleting her, save and exit to neighborhood. Then reload the lot.

If you updated all of your hacks, try deleting groups.cache in your My Documents TS2 folder before you load the game next time.

Is there a list of hacks that are not compatible with FT? I think that'd be more useful to me than anything else.

If it isn't in the FT hack list it isn't compatible.

Hacks that are not compatible do not exist for FT. A list of not compatible hacks would be an empty list.  Lips sealed
84  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Best way to make copies of owned business lots? on: 2008 March 04, 08:31:39
That is a good idea, as often persondata gets stuck, though I haven't noticed it with community lots. If you do that , make sure you select lot file only for the install. Also, be sure to remove any hacks that may not be compatible before packaging the lot, as some of them cause errors if they are not in downloads and were on the lot.
85  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: University Properties on: 2008 March 04, 08:16:51
12 room dorm, all awesomeware.

REQUIRES: Uni, NL, OFB, Pets, Seasons, BV, and probably requires all stuff packs. Floor 2 is not furnished exactly as in the picture, as I added FT stuff. Is packaged as residential lot so you can change stuff. Follow directions in post 1, and please make sure to load the lot at least once after changing to dorm before moving in any sims. I made and packaged this lot pre-FT, so it will not be required.
Lot has been play tested for months, packaged lot is unplayed.

Okay, folks. I will be removing these files from 4shared at the end of the week (unless someone requests otherwise), so the 4 or 5 of you that haven't acquired all the files might want to do so if you want them.
87  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Best way to make copies of owned business lots? on: 2008 March 04, 07:25:09
Package the lot. Install the lot. When you first place it, it may still have the original info. If so, then move it to the lot bin and move it back into the hood. That removes all previous ownership information.
88  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Error:Trying to route while out of world pops up at Dance Contest on Hobby L on: 2008 March 04, 02:53:46
This happened to me. Seems to happen where there aren't enough sims on the lot for a dance contest, and one that is coming through the portal gets the queue to do it, but can't because they aren't really there yet.
89  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Big Foot Hair and Beard taking my cc over on: 2008 March 04, 01:07:59
The bigfoot hair overwrites one file for Compulsive D's dreads - that I know for sure.
90  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Did Freetime do this to my game?! on: 2008 March 03, 01:20:14
Nec, it was never able to be selected while the sim was holding it.  (For me, at least.)

The option is still there for me, at any rate.  Tight pants?

The option has been there since NL. I have always used the call to meal option while serving to get all sims assembled at the table at about the same time because I have a huge number of large families in big houses, and it was the best way to get everyone there by the time the last plate was served. That option is indeed gone until the plate is put down, and the sim has picked up the last serving from it.

I don't do tight pants Tongue

What does guob mean?

That removes object shadows inside (sims still have them) if you have shadows on high. Outside objects keep their shadows.

I will try for baby after granny dies since I am at my maximum. Too many kids right now Tongue
92  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Abandonated Mods Needing Updates for Free Time on: 2008 March 02, 02:27:21
You don't need lotfullofsims, as I said before. Just modify your userstartup.cheat.

93  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Did Freetime do this to my game?! on: 2008 February 29, 13:20:35
I thought the call to meal option was messed up as well. It did change. You can no longer do it while the sim is holding the platter and serving (which is when I like to do it), the option does appear as soon as they put the platter down.
94  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: "Crappy GUID" error from warmthfixes.package on: 2008 February 21, 06:02:51
I have that exact error, and it is only when sims enter the hot spring on an owned vacation lot that I know of. Also, it is only since I added the CS stuff. Could be a conflicting hack, though I have no idea what it might be.

Alva Hershey.
Bubba Yancey.

I knew both of them when I lived in Kentucky.

And they don't flash blue, the covers just show up as being translucent blue. Looks weird, that is about it. The thumbnails, that is. I could care less, to be honest. I am digging the beds big time. I know you are updating sleepclock to include these...right?  Roll Eyes
97  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I want my own CC vacation hoods .... on: 2008 February 08, 02:13:30
Actually, you should start with a residential lot (note that all EA ones have mailboxes and residential trashcans), then make it a community lot, then secret. No errors. Works perfectly. I found this out today, informing the creator of the tutorial about it.

Wow, you only have to click once on each family member to get them to talk until 100. How lazy can one get?
Need someone to play your game for you?
99  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Gardening Troubles on: 2008 February 03, 21:51:29
Hmm...I think there is one called BePatientItOnlyTakes3to4DaysForCropsToGrow.package

Or you can play in debug mode and shift-click on every single plant and debug-make harvestable
100  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: When I installed Bon Voyage, my OFB EP went missing on: 2008 January 27, 06:17:12
Uninstall everything. I recommend using a registry cleaner, such as Registry Mechanic, to get rid of all the registry crap EA leaves behind. Do not keep save games. Delete all Sims 2 folders that may be hanging around. Obviously only the ones the game creates.

Start with the base game, patch.  Uni, no patch. NL, Patch. OFB, Patch. Seasons (if you are going to use it), patch.  BV (if you are going to use it), no patch (IMO), though you can if you want.
