1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Laptop Recommendations? on: 2011 September 15, 20:14:40
I have a good desktop PC at home but also a 3-4 years old laptop when travelling and I have Sims 3 with all EP's and SP's and alot of CC. I play alot with good quality and not too bad lagging.
It's a HP Pavilion dv9500 Notebook PC with Intel(R) Core(TM)2Duo CPU 2.20 GHz, 4 GB, Visra, 32 bit
I always use a cooling plate and the CPU temperatures is 45-50°C when playing Sims.

So, you can play Sims on a laptop!

What's this safety program called? Can it be uninstalled?

I think it was something like Mac Safe or something like that with a window layout like the Origin. And yes it was in the program list with an uninstall icon. I did that after checking what "dangerous problem" it found! Grin
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / EA don't like MATY on: 2011 September 12, 17:14:35
When upgrading the new Origin there was a "safety program" installed in the background without my permission! This program told me then that it found a dangerous problem and that problem was www.moreawesome.com
I'm running the programs in swedish, if that matters.

EA didn't fix this bug with the patch but you can find a working fix here:

http://www.modthesims.info/d/411913

Works nice with all expansions and patches. But there's still some excavation sites on slopes where you can't examine.
5  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Why the FUCK does this happen? on: 2010 December 22, 02:27:46
Mike, this is a known problem with Bridgeport, you can find a solution here:

WCIF a single tile arched door and archway (think "The Simpsons" house if that helps).

I rarely download CC and it's a weird jumble of words to Google with any efficiency. I don't even know where to begin to look (MTS doesn't have anything like this).

Hi, I've made a singel tile arch for my game. I've been searching but couldn't find any so I make it. Take a look, you can find it here:

Thank you, but the mediafire link says there's 0 items.  Huh

donthurtme...

Here's the file:

http://www.mediafire.com/?dyf0gj0mlxi

You know the file must be unzipped and be placed here, or:

Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini

donthurtme.....
well if you have a legal copy you can find those file in Game\Bin and try....
10  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: A new kind of crash! on: 2009 July 31, 19:56:19
I have a legal game with registered CD but I'm playing on two different machines, one stationary and one laptop.
I don't want to buy two games and want to play without CD. That's not the only reason for me to have awesome in my games.

The installation, the 1.3 patch and latest Awesome, on the stationary machine works without problems.
I removed the enablescripterror.package and the four cach-files.

But when I should install the patch, on the laptop, with EA's launcher, I got the "Invalid file" several times. The patch didn't install. When I load the game I have a CTD every time I go into a family.

Uninstalling didn't work, I have the same message "Invalid file" when trying to uninstall....

Well I copied two files, Ts3.exe and TSLHost.dll from my other machine to my laptop. And YES, now it works
to install the 1.3 patch and the awesome (+ indiStone, no intro, etc)

It works! I've been playing several hours now on both computers and didn't find any problems. So far......
11  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Install 1.3 update or not? on: 2009 July 29, 20:00:34
A new version of the enablescripterror.package is out on MTS.

Link

Well, my game works perfect without the enablescripterror.package-
Is it a "must", or?  Huh
12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Install 1.3 update or not? on: 2009 July 29, 19:20:30
I've patched my game and it works beautiful with the latest awesome, Indie, nointro and nomosaic.
I have also alot of CC and they are there in my game, works perfect! (so far.... Roll Eyes)
But I had to remove the enablescripterror.package if I don't want a CTD when choosing lot...
13  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.3 Released on: 2009 July 29, 18:48:48
Just a note:
I temporaily removed my mod-file and installed the patch.
I hav awesome (the today post), Indie, nointro and nomosaic hacks.
I cleared the four cache-files and installed the mods.
The program started without problems but when I click the lot I want to play I have a CTD.
After romoving the enablescripterror.package the game works without problem for now (one hour playing different lots)
Just want to tell... Grin
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Indie Stone Now with added Awesomeness on: 2009 July 20, 15:03:44
This is really awful! Two of the best additions for Sims3 now works together! And it works perfect, as far as I can see...
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 July 20, 12:02:53
Well I can plant on community lots but not take care of the plant so I don't see the reason for planting?
16  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2009 July 14, 14:18:25
I'm not sure if this has happen to anyone else but
I tried to save my game last night and it would spun for about a minute or two and give me an
error telling me to read the readme file and tried to save it again and the game crashed.
I then loaded up sims 3 again a saw that my saved file had now become corrupted.
What the hell happen?

I have exactly the same problem!

Hi, I just want these objects because I find them very nice and good looking on my lots in CS and it would really be nice to have them in the real Sims...
I also think it'e very good looking that sims kan walk in the grass, the plants...
Isn't possible to take away the needs for gardening and just make them decorative, like carpets or something?
Well, I'm not so good in programming and english is not my native language so it's hard to explain.
But, I love all the items in Castaway and would like to use them in Sims2...

Hello I just wonder if someone have converted these plants, the lovely small plants that the sims can walk in:

The grass

or the harvestable grass

And I would also love to have the texture:

Is there a tutorial in how to convert objects from Castaway to the "real" Sims2?

Many thanks
